It's dahlia season. The Dahlia Pavilion is partly populated with 22 tuber grown dahlias. There's another 9 going in next weekend, 11 bought and already flowering dahlias in the house, and a smattering of cuttings and recalcitrant tubers that we're impatiently watching for signs of permanent life.

The Primulas from Primula 9 were observing a football game and want to know what position Taylor Swift plays and what key does Travis Kelce sing in.

An upright narcissus. Baby grand narcissus are more expensive and Grand narcissus can be 10 feet or more longer. Steinway Narcissus are supposed to be the best. An inexpensive plastic narcissus with only two octaves doesn't make great sounds, but may keep baby occupied.

Tulip Fields Forever. Tulip Forever is Strawberry Forever's estranged brother. They fell out arguing over their parents' estate, which they inherited after their parents died in a mysterious car crash on a narrow mountain road close to Strawberry's den.

Two cherries on top of my ice cream. As I dig the spoon in, two millipedes climb my hand onto the spoon and eat the cherries. Astounded, I watch as the millipedes start jumping on the spoon, apparently signaling to put the spoon back into the ice cream for another bite. Some days you just don't get a bite at the ice cream.

Red and Purple attempting a dialog of the car-me-lites (TM). Red is singing Blanche today, and Purple is singing the Marquis de la Force who is with her at the Ford Theatre. The two meet on a subway car named Desire, in New York, on the West Side, First Toy Story when Grand Mercury is in Retrograde and Red is Blacklisted. It's complicated.

Purple, better known as Grape, Hyacinth is Red Hyacinth's sibling. Grape is known for identifying new species of butterflies in the South Pacific, Africa and South America. Grape then names them Grape, after a close relative, and that's why so many butterflies are named Grape.

Distinctive Red Hyacinth gets dressed each morning by Red's dressers, clothiers, makeup artists, farriers and creamery assistants. Just the lotions cost hundreds of dollars a day, and the blacksmiths pounding iron out back of the estate to construct Jimmy Choo Choo knockoffs! When you are as rich as Red, it's cheaper to make your own knockoffs.

Alstroemeria is planning to put a rocket on the moon by the end of this decade. They were considering contracting with Blow-Up Rockets Productions ink., but given how BURP Ink rockets often don't successfully launch (the explosions are great!), instead they now plan to go with PBDJ Heavy Industries LLC's launch subsidiary PBDJ Heavy Launch Industries LLC-Junior instead.

Twins. That's Arnold on the left and Danny on the right. Hold on. My spousal unit says that's Romulas on the left and Remus on the right, although I thought Remus had passed away. Maybe it's an old photograph.

If you could look your 2-year old in the face, this is what they look like as they run down the aisle at the grocery store giggling and hiccuping with you chasing after them.

This one reminds me of Parasaurolophus, the big hollow headed dinosaur that made sounds with its head. The adults sounded more like tubas and the babies ranged from piccolos to flutes and the teenagers were like trumpets and trombones, so a large family unit could easily play Sousa marches and John Williams scores.

Peruvian lily dancing in the heat. Climbing to Peruvian mountains by day, luxuriating in the day spas of coastal Peru by night, then traveling to the Amazonian watershed to pick up an extra shed or two.
