Week 12
More fine tuning and slight adjustments to what we already have. Very pleased with what the team has been able to put together. Actually surprised how well it has grown.

Week 11
We are at a stage currently where we have filled out majority of what we need completed for this level. Now we can focus on polishing the whole.
Laz has been happy with the content we have produced thus far. However he believes that the puzzle elements and level itself could have more depth.

Week 10
The group is largely making steady progress. Ryan seems to be having trouble balancing his work and study commitments. This has created some tension regarding the amount of work each of us have put into the project recently. In light of this we have redistributed tasks to better suit the content members of the group can contribute.
Regarding my tasks, have again been producing assets as they are needed. Majority of the forest is complete. More specific models like the wharf and cottage are next on my to-do list.

Week 9
Laz and Alex have advised us to focus on developing the puzzle for the level due this semester. Balancing the puzzle design to make it difficult but not seemingly random will take time to properly develop it, but I feel positive about what our group can achieve.
Since the last post I have been producing 3-D assets following the list of assets needed. The group with myself included are happy with the style of what we have so far. That style being fairly simple in shape and colour. I feel the style is not exclusive to major demographics visually, and the colours and general shape of the world is logical and interesting to explore.

Experimenting with colour schemes currently. Slowly figuring out the modelling process. The group has been working quite well. Developing the technical and design elements efficiently.

Slowly developing the initial concept for our game. Figuring out how the time control mechanic will work, and also working on the art direction we want to take.
Experimenting with a minimalist style both with colouring/texturing and shape. Will explore more styles as I learn more about blender.

Group meeting: Easter Weekend
At the last workshop class, I joined a team made up of James Gizreh, Ryan Mitchell and Cameron Wills. Ben Spinks, Beau Chapman and I all met and spoke with James, to get a clearer idea of what the proposed game idea was thus far.
Since then, we have had one physical meeting, where we mainly assigned roles and discussed when we could have a meeting where everyone could be present.
Today (25/03/2016) we had a cyber-meeting and finished assigning roles, organized our timeline of tasks, and began to speak about concept ideas.
Between now and Wednesday, the whole team will be coming up with ideas about pretty much every aspect of the game. Looking forward to see what comes out of that.
