Alfa Tipo B - One of many favourite cars at Chantilly was this amazingly original Alfa Tipo B chassisnr #50007. As well as GP history, and the Indy 500 twice, it also ran in the desert at El Mirage. Here's Jane Taylor sportingly driving it around the parade ring. What a glorious machine.

Howmet TX - An experimental race car that is the only turbine-powered car to have actually won a race. Sounds like a fighter jet and is faster than a Ferrari.

1965 Targa Florio - Nino Vaccarella [driving] and Lorenzo Bandini went on to win the 1965 edition on Ferrari 275 P2 [+3L prototype].
