In a surprise announcement, a new Story of Seasons puzzle game has been announced! Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons is a Picross style game featuring hundreds of puzzles based on characters and animals from the Story of Seasons series, complete with unlockable artwork and profiles for characters from the modern Story of Seasons era of Bokujou Monogatari games and a farm that expands as you solve puzzles.

Details like pricing aren't available yet, but the game seems to be coming to Nintendo Switch and PC with the Steam store page listing a release date of February 27th, 2024.

Harvest Moon 64 has been announced for Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo 64 service! It's not exclusive to the Japanese app! If you have the Nintendo Switch Online expansion pass, you can update and download it right now.

There's also 1080 Snowboarding and Jet Force Gemini.

Harvest Moon 64 is one of the most beloved games in the series by long-time fans, but has only been officially available via the original Nintendo 64 release, the Wii U virtual console (which released so late that the Switch was already out) and now, on the Nintendo Switch's online expansion pass.

If you're only familiar with the game's cast by their Mineral Town incarnations, know that this is an entirely different game with a completely different setting that builds on the original SNES game (also available on NSO via the SNES app) featuring different festivals, events, and plenty of characters you may've never met before.

Alright, so again - I try really hard not to "well ahcktually" anyone. It's just difficult to share information without sounding this way, so I apologize in advance...But!

This is one of the things I see the most back and forth pushback about. HMDS aka Colobockle Station, is set ±100 years past AWL.

I don't often include the JP text while I'm uploading, but just in the event that someone wants to know more:

If you connect the Mineral Town GBA cartridge to your Gamecube version of AWL through the Gameboy Advance Player, and then connect the Mineral Town cartridge to HMDS after that, the gravestone in the eastern side of the valley will become your AWL character's name.

When I'm uploading this next section, you will see familiar designs with different names. That's because everyone is a different person!

A Little Tour of Silent Hope's Day One Edition!

While checking my porch to see if a turtle friend had visited me today, I found something else instead! The Day One Edition of Silent Hope! Or is it the day -4 edition right now? The game doesn't come out until October 3rd, after all! Well, in any case, let's take a look!

The outside of the packaging features a beautiful illustration of the Wanderer gazing into The Abyss, while the game itself's box art features the whole cast taking the plunge to battle the monsters in the depths. Inside the case, alongside the game cartridge, is also a booklet with 25 pages detailing the prologue of Silent Hope's story paired with illustrations. The thrill of flipping through the included pamphlet before beginning your game lives on!

Also included is a soundtrack featuring an incredible 33 tracks of dungeon-delving music composed by Takahiro Nakaguchi, Satoshi Asano, and Yuki Nakashima. The music of Silent Hope manages to be catchy and doesn't overstay its welcome even 20 floors into a level, so perhaps they can also serve as the perfect beat to relax and/or study to.

Finally, we have the art book. 104 pages of concept artwork, characters, their expressions, weapons, monsters, full-page illustrations, turnarounds, stills and production stuff for the opening animation... This thing's pretty packed! Wish all art books that come with special editions were this good.

Oh, and yes, here's the friend I was checking on. They're not really related to anything for Silent Hope or Bokumono/RF or anything, I just think they're neat.
