More on Fujimaru!Yuu...

The Mirror said that their potential is "unknown", hear me out; The World™️ gifted (forced) a Unique Magic on them [Noble Phantasm] but the caveat is that the strength of the np completely depends on the relationship between the Servant and Yuu.

For example; Mash/Yuu = an impenetrable shield.

Rasputin/Yuu = probably a wet fart.

But there is a major side effect of Yuu, a regular human, using the ability of a Servant.

Necrosis.

The mana cost is too high (especially the pure DPS Nps) for a human to handle. So they wisely decide to restrict themselves to Twst's magicks and only use [Noble Phantasm] in the most dire moments.

(The idea of Fujimaru!Yuu getting a unique magic has been eating at my brain and the thought of them using Bellerophon on Idia's Overblot refuses to leave my mind)

No because delving into the magic system of both Twst and Fate, where magic is slowly losing mystery due to technological advancements meanwhile for TWST the usage of magic is fairly recent and coincides with technology I always wondered how Twst would register Fujimaru!Yuu's magic but you Amy have found the answer.

It makes sense that because TWST is trying to force Fujimaru!Yuu to fit into the textures of its world that the change would prove detrimental. Like, instead of Blot their cells die because they don't have the magical resistance built into them like other residents have [not to mention the fact that they are essentially glued together by spit, curses, hopes, dreams, and the sheer feral will to live]. It makes sense that TWST while simultaneously trying to keep Fujimaru!Yuu alive would also want to purge what is akin to a new form of cancer from the sheer weight of living through tragedy after tragedy.

And their magic hinging off the fact that they need the support of their servants is not lost on me. A hero of the past, a beast far forgotten, lending just a piece of themselves to defeat what TWST considers a Big Deal at the expense of Fujimaru!Yuu is so.........

Mhin as a character is so funny when you realize they are stalking the outsides of taverns listening to a fucked up Gothic version of Get Low while contemplating their life choices and why they're even here at this point.

(raynon) we have spoken about the Avalon le faces but can we please talk about the classics? Saberface! Yuu who's a person who became a sword and a king but never a human. Who's went through hell and back and has never been thanked once for all their efforts. Who wordlessly accepted their death and now that their back refuses to live because you see, to live, is to love, and to enjoy all things life has to offer. But you see Saber is an archetype that absolute refuses this for they are always, always trying to make things better for a past that's already happened or for people who have not thanked them once.

The craziest thing is, because Saber!Yuu has been nothing but a tool, known only for their title, for their distinct lack of humanity and the attachments that follow; denial is something that is apart of their existence.

Saber!Yuu grappling with their intrinsic need to deny themselves simple pleasures despite telling themselves that they need to, that their second shot of life shouldn't be wasted on the past, but it's what defined them—what kept them moving in their last life. Their past actions always returning with a vengeance to the point that the mere fact that they have loose ends nearly sends them over.
