Tbh this is honestly how I’ve felt for a while. I have absolutely no issue with the way weirdcore is evolving to be clear, I just find myself personally resonating more with the classic minimal-editing style like all of the originating images that formed the basis for wc (which is reflected in my edits lol)
Scrolling through the weirdcore subreddit for the first time in a while and I have to say while most of the stuff there isn't bad per-se a lot of the posts seem a bit.. overcooked?
I feel like there's a lot of images on there that would benefit from being textless or at least more subtly edited.
