when we say acab, this is what we mean. did every cop kill this man or any other poc? no. but did all of them fight for this man to bring this situation to justice? did any of them speak out about this situation, or against these cops? at the very least, do they all hold the bad ones accountable? NO. you can't justify a system that was created as slave patrol. and until this system is abolished and one is created to serve ALL PEOPLE of any color, any gender, any disability or handicap, ACAB.

Yesterday was a hard day for the PJO fandom. After the shitshow with Piper, I decided to channel my anger into painting her. Some people are angry. Some people feel hopeless. Some are both. I hope my art can help comfort you in whichever way you need.

Rick can go to hell. All of you, especially the Muslims affected by Samirah, and the Natives affected by Piper, are valid. Please take care of yourselves.

Was his representation always positive? Why is a bad author relevant to uplifting a problematic one?

why has it become a trend to hate on Rick Rioradan? I mostly see this on tiktok, which, granted, is the most toxic place on the internet. Are his books perfect? No, no one's are, but he gave our generation the most diverse rep in childerns books that I have ever seen. I feel like this trend has stemmed off from the JK Rowling situation, which makes no sense. Rowling is a known transphobe that keeps using Harry Potter as a cash cow and throwing in cheap, post cannon diversity points. Rioradan is NOT a transphobe and puts genuine work and effort into his new books (they still have the same basic plot but shhhh his character development makes up for it). TL;DR y'all can start hating on Rick Rioradan after we run JK Rowling off the internet.
