Why does swifties believe is funny to say that they want someone dead? That they want him to hang himself out, why is that even funny?
It's so horrible.
Tumblr media
Of course! Telling a man with clinical depression to kill himself or else they are gonna bust in his head with hammers is super fucking funny! Circulating vile rumours about him is funny! Shaming Someone who has NEVER said a word against your fave even though he has been targeted REPEATEDLY is funny! My bad! My sense of humor must be broken :)

I am gonna say an unpopular opinion, but BTS from 2015-2016 couldn't have done Black Swan but BTS from 2020 would be always able to write and produced Wings.
Why did I say it's controversial? Because there are a lot of passive agressive bitches who likes to yapp about "missing their 2017 BTS because they missed HYYH and Wings and some Dark and Wild" which is ironic because HYYH and WINGS are from 2015-2016, but you know which era started in 2017? LY:HER and you know what was heavily criticized during that time? DNA and their whole changed, logo, theme, etc. Because a lot of you started complaining about "losing their scence" but it's funny because after that, a year after that they deopped LY:Tear, which is for far one of their best albums if it's not their best album, and after that 2019 they dropped Persona, another great album and in 2020 they dropped MOTS:7 and BE and within fucking Black Swan and a lot of can have their own taste but everyone agrees, Black Swan is definetly one of their best songs in their entire career and BE is a really underrated but amazing album far from the comercial view of Dynamite and more like a personal album.
I hate the takes "I missed old BTS" because it has so many passive agressivenes in their tone, they said it insulting their present, taking their present music as bad when in my opinion, BTS current music is their wisest and more mature music they have produced, not only in lyrics but also in production, BTS old music is magic and eternally beautiful and amazing but also their current music is as great as theie past and trying to act with this superiority complex for liking their old music is so ridiculous.
Trying to define quality because you are old and wants everyone to like their old stuff is so inmature. I love BTS old music, that doesn't mean I am going throught life crying about it and complaining about every single current song, if you like smth it's on yours but don't go there being a hypocrite that nobody likes.

At this point even Tom Taylor is doing a better work writing Damian and HE IS TOM TAYLOR😭
You know I really thought because of these panels from Damian’s Robin run that after this DC would put more focus on the familial relationship between Talia and Damian but we really haven’t gotten much after this.

Not y'all trying to use certain group saying that Le Serafim should learn from them knowing that that group was hated the other years for making playback or having a bad vocal lol
Like just decided the fuck out, don't be hypocrite. You can say they can improve in certain areas and move on, no need to overhate or humilliate, it wasn't that bad like a lot of people like to say "Oh but this other group" well, good luck we are not talking about other groups with different coreographies, different voices and experience here.

I don't understand how can an artist born and live their whole life in USA, only learned their english language, not trying to learn another culture but to the time they starteed a career and because they have relatives latinos,Asians, etc. They suddenly becomes "latino or asians artists".
They look white, they speak their language, they have been treating by the entire industry as white people with all the privilege and advantage they got from that, they probably have never received any type of blackash frm USA radio, magazines, programs due to their race and never tried to actually be part of a culture until they get benefit for that.
And it's okay to be curious about your ascendency, everyone does, but sometimes you should be more aware that you are not struggling in the same way and with the same issues than other latino/asians artists that were considere by the industry since the beginning like that.
Like it's not the same coming from México speaking spanish with a typical musical production from your country and "looking latino" than being born in USA, getting acces and looking as white as a ghost, because at the time the white girl looking would be choosen.

I feel the message is being diluated because, how is possible that everytime we talked about Palestine situation, there's a famous video of a fame consuming starbucks and everyone is focus on that? What aabout the kids that are dying every couple of seconds or the woman who are living in horrible conditions because the lack of service? Why are we even talking about this one idol drinking starbucks more than informing? Saying that it's because they are advertising and promoting but it ends up everything in one place again, because at the end, y'all are also advertising by making videos and creating more controversy with the big star*bucks symbol at the front

I am really having a mental breakdown on how many companies supports Israel😭
What do you think? I think even my local grocery supports indirectly Israel
Edit. I want to clarify that I support Palestine and I completely hate on Israel, I've been supporting the boycot but now I am doubting because it seems a lot of people had lost the focus on why are we supposed to boycott and had spent too many time cancelling people for using certain products while they are also at the same time consuming product and using social media filliated with zionists and the way they started to became insanely focus on which celebrity drinl sta*rbucks instead on focusing on spread news about Gaza's situation and lost. Yeah, we can do both, but the ones who get more attention are famous controversies, so it's driving the attention to these famous people amd their fandoms defending their actions from what is happening in Gaza and the end the comment section is not gonna be about Palestine and informing their situation but about fans vs people talking why we should cancelled their favs.
It feels we are pointing a different direction of the message we are trying to spread.

He is a villian, like why would people defend him? 😭
Rob Lucci fans get mad that ppl clown him but lets be honest he isnt very likeable. He has a huge ego and refuses to acknowledge Luffy status. So its normal that people are happy to see him humiliated.

Sorry for waiting so much time to answer, I didn't realize you reblogged it and tbh I think you are right in a certain way during Robin 2021.
I feel Robin 2021 was okay until the issues 11, when the tournament ended, like yes, the main complain about those first issues were about how Williamson made him look like he actually enjoyed to kill knowing that before that (also the Teen titans rebirth ers) of that he had a no kill rule similar to Batman and maybe even worse because the whole story behind it and the simbolism behind no killing cane from the place he was born and how he was indoctrinated to kill, but aside of that, I don't think it's that bad in my opinion.
I've always tried to think that he didn't seem conflicted because he knew they weren't actually 100% killing people and that they were going to live anyways, so I didn't mind too much and I was really enjoying the run during those first issues.
I really liked the issue with the rest of the batboys, bringing Goliath to the scene, Ra's Al Ghul (even he was indeed oc but still enjoyable and in a more positive light), solving his relationship with Talia and bringing his grief for Alfred, I think most of the scenes were pretty good executated and adding new stuff that I liked but after that when the tournament ended, I believed Joshua probably rushed out every new plot that he was going throught and started making Damian be more like another typical boy with not too much character.
Like sure, there was still some problems that some people liked to pointed out but I believed that it wasn't so bad.
Some people have said his habilities were nerfed and I kinda agree but I don't think it's exactly his abilities but more like the writers didn't really knew how to write action scenes and that's why some of them looked really bland and non exciting
Like even little scenes from other comics looks more fluid in comparision to Williamson's way to write fights

B&R 2009. Robin 2021
Like and it's not only with Damian but in general, conflicts were really solved fast and the plot wasn't not explore and I don't know if it's because he is bad writing it or because he was rushing.
Tumblr media
Like the way he draws fights are so bad like a weird format that also butchered part of his personality.
About the character and personality, well, this could be more difficult to explain because maybe it's more subjective and everyone had their own interpretation on how a character should act, especially since Damian is growing, is easy to say "well he is growing and changing so he is obviusly going to be different".
Someone said that it's more like he seems to be helpless, even if that really didn't match his character for the last 10 years, like a boy who has such strenght and fierce personality being affected by bullying seems so weird.
And I just compare other of his comics vs current comics and currently feels different and maybe that's on me but it doesn't feel more interesting. I don't know if it's him or the plot tho.
About other comics, I feel DC kinda starteddegrading his character was during Teen Titans Rebirth, really horrible comic, Injustice could be but tbh I don't think it's so bad like a lot of people liked to say and the DCAU I feel is more like they reduce the tridimensional part of every character and ignored the way some relationships are originally.
I think Deceased were pretty great tho.
At the end, maybe it's just a personal opinion on how he should be or act.
I don't hate Nika, do I like her relationship with Damian? Absolutely not, do I think it would work better if the writers would actually write Damian as in character and not just their self insert oc? Pretty much yes.
If Damian were still Damian and not just a less interestting version of Tim 2.0 with no personality, but his old self were he was capable to do things and fierce as a tiger, then hos relationship with Nika would be 100% better

everytime i read luffy's backstory again, this is the part that breaks me the most. asking someone you love to not die is such a childlike request: filled with affection, attachment, fear of loneliness, and somehow the belief that love is so strong it will indiscriminately keep people safe and prevent bad things to happen to them. and voicing such request, for a child, is a way of being sure that because it was promised, nothing bad will happen to their loved ones. it's so pure and innocent. they way luffy first interacted with loss and grief had him feeling lost, and it made ace his north star even more than he was before: his brother, his protector, his best friend, his guide, his inspiration, his family. for ace though it was different. ace was left alone being the big brother, the tough one, the one who had to be strong for his little brother and an example for him while forgetting that he was a child as well. he was never allowed to be one, to let his guard down, to not have to carry the world on his shoulders. i think ace's childhood is one of the saddest tragedies in one piece, because it so realistically depicts how devastating it is to be neglected, and spending your whole life searching for your right to live, for belonging, love and acceptance.

I find sad the way people loves to focus on the whole Hailey-Justin-Selena drama(nonexistent) more than Justin actually talking about being groomed by someone whose is now in current investigation for trafficking and sexually harrased by the entire industry when he was 14.
