quick pokemon mv progress update

i was planning on making pokemon mv a weekly release but i realize now that i don't think it'd be possible for me to get all the pages done in just a school week.

im currently half way through chapter three and i don't think i can get ten more pages done in one day before saturday. i think i will start releasing the chapters every other week. sorry i wish i could get these out faster but alas x_x

i may be able to get a weekly chapter out if i have days off from school but we'll see

on off weeks i'll post little sneak peaks of a panel i've already finished (like the one shown in this post) so look forward to that at least :)

Birthday: September 19th, 1923

Hobbies: Researching pokemon

Likes: Working, finding out something new about pokemon, coffee

Dislikes: His old rival (and ex-wife) Agatha nagging him to get back into battling, walking long distances, people mistreating pokemon

Family: Daisy Oak (Granddaughter), Blue Oak (Grandson)

A famous pokemon researcher and former Indigo League champion who now lives in Pallet Town. After the passing of his son and his daughter-in-law, he has custody of his grandchildren Daisy and Blue. He cares about them a lot but he doesn't spend as much time with them as he should due to him being constantly busy with his work.

Hobbies: Making paper crafts, writing short stories in notebooks

Likes: Napping, having some time alone, star gazing

Dislikes: Talking to strangers, her grandpa not helping her take care of Blue, being overworked and stressed

Family: Professor Samson Oak (Grandfather), Blue Oak (Younger Brother)

A teenage girl from Pallet Town. She's insecure and easily stressed. She lives at home with her ten year old brother alone because their parents are gone. Her grandpa isn't home that often because of his job as a famous pokemon researcher.

Delia Ketchum

Age: 28

Birthday: April 1st, 1978

Hobbies: Solving jigsaw puzzles, cooking pastries, sewing plushies

Likes: Flowers, pretty women, making her kids happy, soft things

Dislikes: Men talking to her when she doesn't know them, doing the dishes, rainy days

Family: Red Ketchum (Son), Green Ketchum (Adopted daughter)

A single mother living in Pallet Town. She's a bit ditzy but ultimately well meaning. She loves her kids more than anything and is eagerly cheering them on with their journeys from home. She was born in Johto and moved to Kanto when she was nineteen. She doesn't really talk to her family anymore after Red was born.

Blue Oak

Age: 10

Birthday: January 29th, 1996

Hobbies: Playing video games (His favorite game is a pokemon battle simulator on the Nintendo 64), sports, trying to impress Red

Likes: Red, Attention, People praising him, annoying Green, wearing oversized shirts

Dislikes: Being ignored, people being disappointed in him, failing, short sleeve shirts and shorts

Family: Professor Samson Oak (Grandfather), Daisy Oak (Older Sister)

A young boy from Pallet Town. He's overconfident and thinks he's much cooler than he really is. He lives at home with his sixteen year old older sister and his grandpa who isn't home often because of his job as a famous pokemon researcher.

Blue wants to earn his grandpa's praise and make Red impressed with him so he heads off on a journey to complete the pokedex for his grandpa and become the strongest pokemon trainer in Kanto and Johto by becoming champion.

Green Ketchum

Age: Probably 10

Birthday: Unknown (She just celebrates her birthday the same day as Red)

Hobbies: Talking to her online friends, reading scary stories, sneaking out at night to go hunt ghosts (she never finds any), being silly

Likes: Spooky stuff, staying up at night and sleeping in, stargazing

Dislikes: Blue, People with huge egos, falling

Family: Delia Ketchum (Adopted Mother), Red Ketchum (Adopted Brother)

A young girl from Pallet Town. She's a quirky little girl with an obsession in the spooky and scary. She claims she doesn't get scared by them but she's secretly easily scared. She talks about spooky stories with her online friend "XXXRoseyPinkXXX".

She travels around with her brother Red during their journey and bickers constantly with Blue. She doesn't particularly care about becoming champion and is just here to have fun.

When she was little she mysterious appeared near the shore of Pallet Town with no memories of her life before being found there and being adopted by Red's mom. Her name before appearing is unknown and started using the name Green to match Red and Blue. She has recurring nightmare of falling endlessly in pitch darkness with strange creatures swimming above her...

Red Ketchum

Age: 10

Birthday: February 27th, 1996

Hobbies: Playing video games (His favorite game is Earthbound), doodling

Likes: Spending time with pokemon, exploring, his friends

Dislikes: Attention, people who hurt others, the cold, himself

Family: Delia Ketchum (Mother), Green Ketchum (Adopted Sister)

A young boy from Pallet Town. He doesn't talk often so people tend to misinterpret him as more mature or cool than he really is but he's just a kind little kid who's a bit of a dork.

He travels around Kanto with his sister Green on a journey to collect the gym badges and challenge the Indigo League. Red became interested in pokemon battles and becoming champion because of his best friend Blue who also wishes to become champion. He admires Blue greatly.

Welcome to Pokemon MV!!

pokemon mv is a pokemon fancomic which rewrites and reinterprets the games while combining elements from the anime/pokespe/other pokemon media that i like along with some what if scenarios and headcanons

currently the game pokemon mv is adapting is: Gen 1

my main is @cassioppenny i post other general pokemon stuff there. keep in mind that my posts include potential spoilers for future parts of pokemon mv. not everything i post there are guaranteed to appear in the comic but if you found this blog and want to read the comic as blind as possible i suggest taking caution reading old posts of mine. now that the comic is being made im not planning on posting as much about future pokemon mv concepts other than maybe infodumping to my friends in dms

fanart is greatly appreciated and i'll reblog any i see with the tag #pkmn mv fanart. for already created fanart my friends made i'll reblog it when the character the art is for appears in the comic
