I wanna make DC comic short series about Gothamites who are just regular ass people.
Real estate agent trying DESPERATELY to sell a house to some people who aren’t from Gotham while Joker is laughing and setting bombs just outside and she’s pretending everything is fine.
A Batburger employee who always gets stuck with the graveyard shifts and that is, unfortunately the perfect time to get a few of Batman’s rogues, his family, or the Dark Knight himself, sometimes all on the same night and at the same time.
Principal who comes to the horrifying realization that they’re gonna have to change the school year to all year due to how many ‘days off’ from citywide threats they’ve taken
The lady who petsits Hailey sometimes and doesn’t even bother to question why NIGHTWING is the guy picking her up
Is there a maintenance guy for the Bat signal?? There should be. I think that should be a thing. Maybe sometimes Cass just sits there ominously while he works and he has long since stopped questioning it
Construction worker lady who regularly points where rogues try to hide when they’re running down the streets to The Signal. Theyre best buddies
crazy ass moments in dc comics history off the top of my head
guy gardner is incredibly anti-soviet and causes multiple international incidents (late 80s)
the joker becomes iran's UN representative (1988)
wonder woman delivers a disguised circe's baby underwater by biting through the umbilical cord (i don't even remember when this was? maybe like late 90s)
nightwing joins the mafia, goes by "crutches" (early 2000s)
jason todd impersonates nightwing and moves to nyc to torment him (mid 2000s)
dick grayson shot in the head by kgbeast, goes by "ric" and drives a taxi. also god that half zipped grey hoodie was NOT IT (2019)
hal jordan's "eskimo" sidekick??? (1960s)
batwoman and bat-girl first introduced because batman and robin were accused of turning the kids gay by being gay (1950s)
the wonder woman biker outfit incident. (early 2000s)
tim drake prays in front of jason's shrine in the batcave (late 90s)
Superman is an incredibly kind and tender character. (If he’s not being written that way, then he’s not being written well.) He inspires hope not just through his heroics, but also through his kindness toward other people. That’s his thing. Don’t you DARE call tenderness a “weakness.” Get your toxic masculinity the hell away from me and go read a badly written Batman comic if you want a “tough” male character.
Please use a separate tag for DPxDC. I’m begging you I literally don’t give a flying fuck about dc I just want Danny Phantom content and I don’t want to wade through a bunch of DPxDC to find the occasional non-crossover post I’m fucking dying at the point
hey, anon, there's a simple fix, actually. block the #dp x dc tag I have and the #dc tag. because those are the tags I use. I make sure to tag things appropriately all the time on this page. you can use the search bar at the top of my page if you're on mobile like me and type in #dp. you will find all of my Danny Phantom posts. I have no prompts for just dp, so you're not gonna find anything from me, but you will find some thing's I've reblogged
now, if you're referring to the fact that I've tagged a few posts as "Danny Phantom", then once again, I bring to you my favourite function on tumblr. the fact that you can block tags. you'll see a lot of blocked out posts, sure, but it keeps like everyone happy.
I understand the dying part too it gets very frustrating looking through the dp tag sometimes and seeing Batman's face when I want to see Jazz. it gets annoying very quickly.
