✷ ୫⠀⠀ ▊▊▊▊⠀⠀ RED CARPET ⠀⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀ THE 1ST EP .
“ [ ... ] well jun, i have to say. we have seen quite the lineup tonight during this live premiere and i mean everyone was to die for! the ladies looked stunning, the men dazzled the audience but ladies and gentlemen, i'm not standing here in thousand dollar stilettos waiting for just anybody. i'm here to capture the first look at the long awaited men of the hour. the ones with all the buzz circulating their name for the last two weeks- what the hell were they called again? boy toy? play thing?... arm candy! that's right! thank you jun. we're here waiting for those guys to see if they're really worth all the press and talk that's been going on lately. their fans are behind me going crazy! the cameras are flashing like nuts and- oh, wait... is that them? that's their limo? quickly, quickly! get over there- watch my damn dress, this is versace. people, people! this is not a drill. the boys are here, they're finally here. the heartthrobs of the hour have finally arrived! ”
Released on February 14, 2016, Red Carpet was the debut of Poser Record's first boy group named Arm Candy. Inspired by the 80's and 90's era of old hollywood, the concept revolved around seven new up-and-coming heartthrobs who were all chasing after their co-star and starring woman ( portrayed by a trainee ) in hopes of becoming the first male lead. Though throughout the video, the romance slowly turns into a horror as the female lead begins killing the boys off one by one, each one oblivious to the last's demise as they eagerly saw the opportunity to take his place.
By the end of the film, Eunjun is the last one alive, seemingly chosen as the boy she wishes to be with. He gets down on one knee, ring in hand but as soon as he looks up, he's greeted by his soon-to-be bride holding an axe. His death isn't caught on camera, instead the final shot is of the woman standing over his dead body, blood splattered across her face with the axe over her shoulder as the screen closes into a circle as she winks into to the camera. The words "til death do us part" are displayed at the bottom and the video finally ends.
However, it then pans to the members standing outside the theatre as they stared at the sold out sign plastered over a movie called "The Seven Heartbeats." Eunjun is dressed casually, munching on candy as he hums to himself in thought. "You think she'd go after one of us?" He says to no one in particular. The screen pans out, showing the other members all bloody and dressed in the clothes they died in. They each speak, a chorus of, "Not a chance," "I doubt it," "I don't think I'm her type," ringing out as Eunjun nods in agreement. "It was worth a shot." With that being said, he turns around, revealing the axe lodged into the back of his head as he walks off, the screen fading to black and displaying their name as the credits rolled.
✷ ୫ ⠀⠀ OO. ⠀⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀⠀ TRACKLIST . ㅤ
Red Carpet was written and produced entirely by the members themselves, marking the first time Poser Records gave their idols creative freedom from the very beginning rather than making them earn it over time. While this will be Cash's first time producing under his tag HEON.ONE, the same couldn't be said for Zion as he was revealed to be the faceless artist known as CLOSURE that had gained quite the following on Soundcloud. Out of all five tracks produced, the ones created by Zion had more traction due to the fans he had prior to debuting.
TRACK ONE . ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ STARLET ⠀⠀ • WRITTEN BY : ⠀ lee eunjun, ▊▊▊▊ ⠀⠀ • PRODUCED BY : ⠀ heon.one
TRACK TWO . ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ TRUE BEAUTY ⠀⠀ • WRITTEN BY : ⠀ closure, lee eunjun ⠀⠀ • PRODUCED BY : ⠀ closure
TRACK THREE. ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ HEART ATTACK ⠀⠀ • WRITTEN BY : ⠀ drew, heon.one, ▊▊▊ ⠀⠀ • PRODUCED BY : ⠀ heon.one
TRACK FOUR. ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ QUEEN OF HEARTS ⠀⠀ • WRITTEN BY : ⠀ closure, lee eunjun, ▊▊▊ ⠀⠀ • PRODUCED BY : ⠀ closure
TRACK FIVE. ⠀⠀ ── ⠀⠀ WHAT IS LOVE? ⠀⠀ • WRITTEN BY : ⠀ closure, ▊▊▊ ⠀⠀ • PRODUCED BY : ⠀ closure
✷ ୫ ⠀⠀ OO. ⠀⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀⠀ STYLING . ㅤ
Classy, professional, and a bit casual; Arm Candy's styling was to remain reminiscent of old hollywood, resulting in the members often wearing tailored suits or vintage pieces that complimented their concept. The stylists refrained from showing any skin, only allowing arms to be out during Starlet when the boys removed their jackets and tossed them to the side, or into the crowd as the end of promotions neared. The denim outfits quickly became a fan favorite, soon becoming a staple in their wardrobe to the point where Sweethearts claimed it as their official "boyfriend" look. Any other male idol wearing a white dress shirt and blue jeans will be compared to their faves and bombarded with odd comments much to Arm Candy's dismay.
✷ ୫ ⠀⠀ OO. ⠀⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀⠀ ERA NOTES . ㅤ
When promotions finally wrapped up, Red Carpet accumulated a total of 15 wins with Starlet having 9 and True Beauty having 6. In the perspective of Sweethearts, the EP remains one of their top 5 favorites to date with many arguing that the boys had yet to top it. Others argue that Red Carpet, while a great start, hadn't reached the hype it was supposed to have gave. To the members, they each talk fondly of their debut, often playing their old music on lives or at concerts due to it being the beginning of their careers.
⠀⠀ • 2016 hated to see them coming. You physically could not escape any of their faces or their music for a hot minute.
⠀⠀ • The boys hosted a live when their music video was close to hitting 1,000,000 views where they popped small confetti cannons and answered fan questions for a few hours.
⠀⠀ • During the last performance for Starlet, when the members threw their coats into the crowd, two fans fought over Drew's jacket. One by one, as the fight got a bit more physical, the members all started to watch with some of them making faces or pointing out who they thought would win. Holland's ending fairy went viral due to him getting caught off guard, flinching for a brief moment when the cameras landed on him. He quickly did a peace sign with a big smile as in the background, you can still hear the girls screaming as security breaks them up.
⠀⠀ • As a fun video idea, the boys decided to swap places in the studio and re-enacted how Cash and Zion acted during recording. It was all fun and games until ▊▊▊▊ said something towards Zion that resulted in the room going silent. The footage was later re-uploaded with that part edited out, now being the first piece of "lost media" the group has.
⠀⠀ • “ You're an orphan? I wish I was an orphan. My family sucks...stream Starlet so I don't have to see them again. ” ── Drew, 2016.
⠀⠀ • MAMA 2016 was wild. While the boys didn't leave with any awards, they did go viral for several different reasons throughout the night. The first time they did was for their styling on the red carpet with many non-fans asking who each member was. The second time was for their reactions to other performances as some of the boys acted like they were at a concert rather than an award show. The third time, and probably the biggest moment that entire night, was during their performance of Queen of Hearts. The choreography was sensual, the members were blindfolded, there was a water portion, and the ending had Zion in the center on his knees, surrounded by the others members, as he stared into the camera as if seeing God when his blindfold slowly falls off.
✷ ୫ ⠀⠀ OO. ⠀⠀⠀ ╱ ⠀⠀⠀ PHOTOCARD . ㅤ
Due to the purposeful limited production of the EP, most of these photocards are rare in itself but Cole's and Eunjun's are the hardest to obtain out the bunch, making these PCs the most expensive to buy online.

╰╮ ⠀ 𝚠𝚠𝚠. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ ✷ ⠀ A SERIES OF EVENTS [ ... ]
“ [ ... ] they weren't going to last. ” journalist and self-proclaimed poser hater babette kim says as she talks about the co-ed group following their newest album as five. “ i hate to say it but it's a miracle 4-1-1 even lasted this long. the odds were never in their favor. sure they sold decently and had a tour or two but their domestic fanbase wasn't the strongest. not that many wins, not that many events or brand deals. i heard that disbandment was originally on the table ─ hence why namra was a wreck more than she usually was. now i can't tell you why poser chose to scrap their duo and add those two into the lineup but what i can say is that those other three should be thankful that they were. ”

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 : Scream it! Shout it! Say it loud! We're Say My Name!
tw : mentions of drug usage and overdosing, pregnancy scare. lmk if i missed anything.
Say My Name ( 내 이름 말하기 ) abbreviated as SMYN, is the first act to be signed to Poser Records, making them the foundation and staple of the label. Debuting on March 18, 2006, SMYN were a girl group you couldn't escape throughout the late 2000's and 2010's. Whether you were listening to one of their many memorable songs or engaging in the constant drama that was attached to their names, you were bound to stumble across one of their names and faces sooner rather than later.
2018 marked an interesting year to say the least when leader Solgi was exposed for being a drug addict just days after audio of a phone call between her and an unknown acquaintance were talking about Yoo Bin. Despite the concerning remarks made about the younger member, Solgi's reputation had taken a bigger hit and nearly resulted in the group disbanding after fans demanded she be removed from the lineup. Instead of giving in to the fans, Poser Records would put the girls on an indefinite hiatus with their last release as four being D.I.V.A.
Following their silence, Manami would take to her now deleted instagram account to announce her departure from Say My Name in 2019 just a month after she, Yoo Bin and Naiyana celebrated their 13th anniversary in Bali. As of 2025, the group itself has remained untouched yet unforgotten as the remaining members go about their individual schedules, some mentioning the group more than others or, in Yoo Bin's case, pretending as if they never existed altogether.
𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 : SMYN has a total of 23 releases spanning across 3 studio albums, 10 mini albums, 7 singles, and 3 repackages not including their solo music. Their music was previously handled by in-house producer Han Ilhoon, otherwise known as DAYONE before being taken over by Solgi and Naiyana prior to their 2010 EP "Pinky Promise."
WHATCHA DOIN', GOSSIP GIRL, TELL ME ( say my name ) CAT&MOUSE, GIVE IT 2 ME, JUMP! ( showtime! ) H.O.T, TOUCH MY BODY, LUCKY BOY ( blondes have more fun ) MINISKIRT, MY 1ST, NATURAL ( d.i.v.a ) DARLING, DARLING! ( ONLY YOU ), MINE, OH! ( pinky promise )
𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦 : The group consists of Jung Sol-Gi, Tanaka Manami previously known as Tami, Yoo Bin, and Naiyana Lewis.
• The story of SOLGI follows her path of recovery and dealing with the consequences of her actions. To those unfamiliar of her past, she is a beacon of light within the idol industry, using her platform to spread awareness of many causes and speaking her mind without any filter. She hosts a show called "Comfort Food" where she invites mainly older idols to come and prepare a meal that brings them ease as they chat about their lives. To the world, the ones who will never forget, Solgi is a drug addict who nearly tarnished Say My Name as a whole after overdosing on tour while in the United States. She's a fraud who holds grudges and a mean girl that tried to ruin her "friend's" career. Depending on who you ask, Solgi will either be someone you like or someone you hate.
• The story of MANAMI revolves around normalcy and the ache to be invisible. For years her life has been torn apart bit by bit by strangers who think they know her. Her teen years were filled with baseless hate, rude comments on her body, and forcing herself to play a role she no longer wanted. But she kept it going for the sake of her sisters back home, for her grandmother who raised her and for her father who watches her success from a prison tv. Though it was after falling in love for the first time that Manami wanted out. She shouldn't have fell for her groupmate's pr boyfriend but things happen, soon leading to a pregnancy scare that almost hit the media if it weren't for her "dear friend" saving her ass. Since then Manami has detached herself from the group after 2017, soon announcing her departure in 2019 and going radio silent unless mentioned by those closer to her.
• The story of YOO BIN centers around control and how hurt people hurt people. She's the most popular member among the four, easily being the most sought out in the company due to her beauty and elegant persona. She did everything first - first solo album, first one to breakout into acting, first to collab with designer brands. Yoo Bin was an undeniable force as the years passed, deeming her an important figure alongside women like IU and Taeyeon. Behind closed doors, things are...drastically different. Because of her influence and her success, anyone would kill to be in her circle or have her approval and that's all she's ever wanted. From no one to someone people admired, feared even. And with her becoming a board member and shareholder as of 2014, there were no limits her to her reign of terror.
• The story of NAIYANA centers around being a one trick pony and the horror of being forgotten. Singing and dancing on stage is all she's ever known. Since debuting, nothing else had ever been on her mind. This was what she's wanted to do. This is who she is and forever will be. There was no backup plan, no plan b, no side gig - it was either be an idol or go back to being nothing. She's worked herself to the brink of several medical problems over the years, suffering the most hiatuses anyone's ever seen. So what if she has enough money to retire and to relax? What about after that? She's just supposed to fade out into the background, being a name uttered and faintly remembered? Naiyana can't have that. It's why she became a choreographer, a producer, writer, videographer, and anything else that her name can be attached to just for a bit of relevancy.

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 : don't sink in me with your dog teeth.
All Dogs Go To Heaven, often referred to as All Dogs, is a co-ed band that were originally independent until signing with a small company named Horizon Music in August of 2015. Their music often reflects heartache, bittersweet relationships, familiar bonds, and a deep sense of yearning with an occasional radio friendly hit to keep the company's lights on. Even with some of their better known tracks charting on Billboard Top 100 or going viral thanks to social media trends, All Dogs still think of themselves as a crappy little band that took chances on one another to create the music they wanted. Most notably, their concerts are a huge reflection of this as majority of the venues will often be small or more intimate though sometimes it may change to a hole-in-the-wall nightclub with a limited opacity for that more authentic, indie feeling.
As of July of 2025, All Dogs Go To Heaven have wrapped up their world tour (EX)ISTENTIAL CRISIS, the members now resting up and traveling as their hearts content. Their latest album "EXXXCEPTION" has concluded with some of their biggest numbers and hits to date with half of their tracks circling around Tik Tok thanks to numerous trends and horror stories involving getting back with an ex.
𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 : All Dogs have a total of 25 releases spanning across 9 years in the form of 7 albums, 15 singles, and 3 eps. Onjo acts as their lead guitarist and lead singer with Phoebe on drums, Haeun on the keyboard, and AJ on bass though the latter three rotate between instruments and vocals depending on the album. All of their art, including their merchandise designs and covers, are made by Haeun and sometimes by Phoebe.
• BITTERTASTE, DIE FOR, PREY INSTINCTS ( dogbreath. ) MONSTER IN MY BED, A CHILD'S OBSERVATION ( ...but a third thing ) THE GIRL'S A GOD, THE ONE WHO CRIED LONELY, OLD HABITS DIE HARD, ( it would have been nice. ) YOU'RE IN THE REAL WORLD, KID!, SMALL TOWN, USA ( you're an adult. now what? ) MISERY LOVES COMPANY, SPIRITUALLY, PHYSICALLY, BIGGEST LIE I EVER SAID, GRANTED ( exxxception. )
𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦 : The band is composed of members Nam Onjo, Phoebe Perez, Park Haeun, and Austin Jang professionally known as AJ.
• The design of ONJO stems from spite, resentment, selfishness, and reality; the judge and the jury, a dog who will turn on its owner if the leash was tugged too tight. Being raised by an alcoholic who cared more for his dead wife than his own daughter, Onjo has since developed grudges for anyone weaker than her. Cry too much and she's rolling her eyes, vent too long and she says you complain too much ─ the world won't stop turning whether you're dead or alive so get over it.
• The design of PHOEBE stems from exploration, freedom, uncertainty, and reflection; the butterfly that caught the attention of a curious child, the one to make you daydream about them despite never exchanging a word. After being "convinced" to join a polyamory relationship only to be abandoned by both parties for each other, Phoebe has since gone on a self-discovery journey that's landed her into realizing two things: she's bisexual and never wants to be tied down again. She's rather uncomfortable on dates, doesn't like seeing the same person too many times, and is genuinely afraid of falling in love.
• The design of HAEUN stems from forgiveness, patience, security, and accountability; the familiarity of a teacher who believed in you, the excitement after you blow on a dandelion when making a wish. Raised by a deaf freelance artist, creativity and compassion is all Haeun has ever known. Due to being the most understanding member, he's also the most gullible one out the bunch. He's too nice. He sees the good in everyone even when he shouldn't but that doesn't mean he's a complete pushover. He calls out things for what they are when his limits are tested and isn't afraid to cut someone off when they least expect it.
• The design of AJ stems from distortions, neglect, cockiness, and rage; the faint noise of a bomb ticking nearby but it's too late to diffuse it, the wind being knocked out of you due to a heavy impact. Foster kid being dumped from house to house until growing out of the system, AJ never knew what a family was. He doesn't understand kindness that doesn't come with a motive or a personal gain so he refuses it, forcing himself to be a problem to avoid anyone from getting close. He can be confusing at times by being vulnerable one moment then antsy the next, sometimes growing violent without realizing it until it's too late.

One thing Harris had learned about Zac was that he was incredibly strong willed. He wasn't unflappable, but it took a lot to break him. That was why he wasn't surprised that Zac waited until the end of the school day, when the hallways were empty, to corner him. If anything he'd been expecting it.
“Give me my phone."
Harris took a moment to compose himself, manic glee making his skin tingle. He loved when pieces of a puzzle fell into place.
He turned, barely able to stop himself from smirking. “Why would I have your phone?"

╰╮ ⠀ www. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ ✷ ⠀It's 2018. Poser Records are noticing that Disturb The Peace's numbers are beginning to dwindle. A member is on hiatus every other month, everyone is calling their music "construction noise," and their it boy of the month was exposed as a raging misogynist during an important comeback. Social Suicide can only do so much to keep the reputation of the the group afloat, but even they aren't do so hot as of recently with their own internal issues and constant quarrels with other girl groups.
So what does the CEO and COO need to do to gain back the public's affection? They can easily work on the big group they already have. They can begin changing up their sound more often to cater to the demand fans and non-fans alike wanted but it'll take away the individuality set by the company.
Or...they can just debut another boy group.
Arm Candy ( 암 캔디 ) are a seven member boy group that debuted on February 14, 2020 as the second all-male act underneath the label.
╰╮ ⠀ www. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ ✷ ⠀INSU aka ZION, JAEMIN, EUNJUN, DAEWON, DOHYUN aka DREW, HOLLAND, YOUNGMIN aka COLE.
They were different. Everything about them was different. The brighter, more pastel color palette stood out like a sore thumb compared to the neon green of DTP. The lineup didn't consist of just fresh, new faces but also idols of other groups ─ some never heard of, some familiar, already bringing in fans who were eager to see these faces back in the industry. Visually, the boys were more polished, too. Clean, pristine, and always smiling; Warm and inviting. A stark contrast to the rough around the edges look given to Project X.
Arm Candy weren't supposed to mimic Poser. That was the biggest takeaway fans and observers of the company noticed right when their name was revealed. They were referred to as "K-Pop's future boyfriends," for their charm gave off the impression of first male leads in a drama; The boy next door that you secretly fawned over after sharing eye contact with just once, tripping over your own feet when something as simple as a "hey" is exchanged.
It came as no surprise that once the group was active that they quickly become the highest selling act under the company. Sweethearts, their fandom, were a dedicated albeit obsessive bunch. Anything Arm Candy did, they supported it. Whether it was music, interviews, brand deals, etc ─ the amount of support they garnered was both impressive yet concerning. And when you remember how much their fan service contributes to their fame, more alarms tend to go off.
As of 2025, Arm Candy are the most successful idol group underneath Poser Records to date. They're become known as your idol's idol, easily being listed among the top 10 boy groups of their own generation and in general.
Will they ever fall off? I guess we'll never know...

╰╮ ⠀ 𝚠𝚠𝚠. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ ✷ ⠀did you mean : ⠀ DISTURB THE PEACE ? ⠀ what began as an ambitious unit project many were skeptical about soon transformed into a powerhouse idol group the public couldn't seem to get enough of. loud, messy, and chaotic ─ they were the embodiment of what POSER RECORDS wanted to be, what they aimed to bring to the table to a steadily growing idol industry. after years of tedious nitpicking under the eye of CEO and creative director LEE JUNHYEOK, 2016 will be the year his vision will come to light.
DISTURB THE PEACE ( 평화 방해 ), often abbreviated as DTP, were first introduced to the world through a web series available on Youtube and Poser's website titled WHAT NOW? Inspired by found footage films and vlogging-styled content, the videos follow the chosen eleven just minutes after the confirmed lineup was announced. The very first video accumulated over 2,000,000 views in just a week due to incoming fans being obsessed with the unfiltered reactions and emotions each trainee had. The series went on to have 44 episodes with each member getting 2 of their own one on one specials so the public can get to know them more.
By late March of 2016, Poser Records will end the pre-debut series on a cliffhanger where the CEO and COO were about to reveal the group's official name. The screen cuts to black, and after almost two hours of waiting, the social media accounts belonging to the company were releasing the long awaited teasers and dates for DTP's debut.
╰╮ ⠀ 𝚠𝚠𝚠. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ ✷ ⠀ left to right : ⠀ ISEO, NANO, DAHEON aka CASH, JEAN, ANDREW aka AJ, MINYOUNG, ANTOINETTE aka TONI, SKYE, NEVEAH, HAEUN, ROMEO, DAESUNG.
Composed of three sub-units ( 4-1-1, Project X, Social Suicide ), Disturb The Peace quickly became a household name in 2016 due to their mix of experimental pop, edm, electronica, and occasional hip-hop hits spanned throughout their discography.
And just like the mixed reviews on their overall sound, the same can be said towards the members themselves as no one was spared from a controversy that nearly tanked their reputation altogether. Many REBELS argue online over which unit was the most problematic with most deciding it was Project X while others said that Social Suicide weren't full of angels, either.
As of 2025, Disturbing The Peace is currently not as active as a whole with Poser Records deciding to shift focus onto their other groups whilst occasionally using the units as quick cash grabs in between releases knowing that their fans will buy anything with their names on it. Because of this, it's heavily believed that DTP keeps to themselves rather than interact with their "replacements," resulting in several online arguments and alleged fights behind the scenes that earned the group the title of bitter wash-ups. Despite it all, the members are firm believers that they'll come back better than ever ━ it's just a matter of time until when.

⠀⠀ ⠀ ╰╮ ⠀ 𝚆𝚆𝚆. ⠀ ❙❘❙❚❙❘❙❙❚❙❘❙❙❘❙ ⠀ 2ND GENERATION ⠀ ★ ⠀ an introspection in being broken down and built back up again; do you recognize yourself in the mirror ?, eat or be eaten ─ the snake gets the first bite, finding light in a dark place, & found family. ⠀ • ⠀ the guide to the sibling groups known as project x and social suicide.
trigger warnings : to be added as things are posted.
by 2012, poser records had become "too comfortable" in the eyes of COO christian jang. throughout the last seven years, the label has maintained a steady momentum within the industry. they never dropped below a specific margin but they weren't necessarily breaking through the roof either, an in-between many companies would prefer over possible failures or a rapid decline interest. some employees say this more so had something to do with the idols no longer fearing their positions like they once had as trainees and rookies. there was no one else to take their place, no one who can take their spots or replicate their dedicated fanbases who steadily kept money flowing into poser's pockets. in short ─ there was no in-house competition to keep them motivated anymore.
until october 1, 2012.
as expected, the entertainment company held their quarterly annual press conference to go over all of their future changes and plans for the next few years. nearing the end of the discussion, CEO junhyeok will reveal that poser was closing the chapter on what was dubbed their first generation of idols and were beginning to prepare for their new era of acts to follow. as a way to rile up the crowd, he brought out two trainees who were currently confirmed to be the leaders of the soon-to-become groups.
an at-the-time seventeen year old yoo iseo and fifteen year old na onjo came on stage, bowing respectfully and keeping straight faces to show how serious they were about their potential debuts. junhyeok goes on to talk about the sacrifices of their childhoods, both having trained since the ages of 10 and 9 respectfully, choosing to miss out on their youth in exchange for a career. he called them hungry; emphasizing on how they'd do whatever it takes to become the idols they dreamed about and idolized. by the end of the conference, iseo and onjo had spoke briefly on the mic to ask for the support of those watching before all three said their goodbyes, leaving the audience eager to see what poser had up their sleeves.
what followed in 2014 was the first half of their new era ─ a five member boy group by the name project x. the boys were introduced through a short mini film originally broken up into five parts then before being put altogether in an hour long special. their lore, while loose and brief, begins with the boys all being down on their luck in their apartment. with rent being due and no one having a job, they decide to do the one thing they know how: party. the first mini album sets up their reputation as "loose canons" looking to live for a good time, not a long time. yet after throwing the bash of the century, the boys go on to wreck havoc whether it's through their reckless behavior, plethora of failed relationships, or the essential get together.
shortly after that, in 2015, the second half of their plan was introduced. social suicide was the sister group of project x, having their story originate from the same timeline in the boys' lore as the four girls chose to let loose from their worries and focused on having a good time. many pointed out how the members were seen throughout each mini film and the music videos, even putting together social suicide's small film to connect the times and dates between the groups' story. unlike project x, the girls had a more broader yet specific theme of girls just being girls; how they were allowed to be just as free and reckless as their male counterparts without society judging them.
within days, both groups were breaking records set by their seniors. each release following their debuts were more experimental and fun than the last, and because they were connected, fans from both sides eagerly engaged with their content to point out details or to make theories about the dynamics within the lore. poser records even had them releasing music together on a few special singles and was speculated to produce a joint album but the idea never came to fruition.
despite the close friendship, undeniable loyalty, and quick success coming their way, project x and social suicide were beginning to lose everything behind the scenes. whether it was their sense of self, their relationships, or their credibility, it was growing clear that the sibling groups weren't as tight knit as they were marketed. but how did this happen ? where did it all start ? and who was to be held responsible for the fall of a nation phenomenon...

BUT... MY OC IS AN ACTUAL ADDITION. NOW WHAT?
You can put them on the event as soloists up for a custom duo or group! Just be detailed on what that would look like!
GO AS FAR AS YOU WANT!
The criteria for the addition showcase part of the event is at least one post that could serve as a wikipedia style bio, or a classic fic introduction post! But if you want to make a sideblog, an album, write a little fanfic AU, I won't stop you at all! It's all about the immersion, showing us all that you came up with until May 15th, and having your own fun!
*A HEADS UP: unit additions are limited to a max of 5 OCs, just so we won't get too carried away.
CHOOSE YOUR BIAS!
After May 15th we'll have a two days (48 hours) voting of your favorite addition to pic a FIC S**T UP!!! winner. There will be both a public post available for the general public, and a private one for the creators involved! If the public choice and the creator choice end up being two different people, they'll both get winner status.
AND THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL...!
Or spoiler alert, an appreciation post put together by me, Gio! 😁🩵💛

𝟷𝟷𝟷⠀.⠀⠀𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗2005⠀⠀︵⠀⠀★⠀⠀𓈒 ⠀⠀ reputation far from stellar but their legacy ? your faves could never ! known for dominating the mid-2000's and 2010's with their unapologetic loud, explicit, &. reckless idols, POSER RECORDS aimed to set themselves apart from their competitors while maintaining an identity that no one else could replicate. founded by brother-in-laws business partners LEE JUNHYEOK ( CEO ) and CHRISTIAN JANG ( COO ), the idea for poser stemmed from Junhyeok's career as a producer back in the United States; before owning his own company, JUN created hits for some of the biggest names back in the late 90's and early 2000's ranging from the co-produced MADONNA album "EROTICA" to the classics of "WANNABE" by the SPICE GIRLS, "JUMPIN' JUMPIN'" by DESTINY'S CHILD, to the fully produced UHM JUNGHWA project "005.1999.06." on the other side of the world, Christian was never a music person but a born businessman. his family owned a CIVIL ENGINEERING COMPANY dating back to the 1890's in South Korea, landing him in the lap of luxury for decades to come.
the two men will cross paths in 1997 but officially became friends in 1999 when Junhyeok becomes ENGAGED with Christian's sister GRACE JANG after the news broke out of her unexpected pregnancy. though the couple will never walk down the aisle due to Junhyeok calling it off, the former brother-in-laws will still maintain a close enough bond to the point of discussing plans of working together ⏤ thus leading to the birth of POSER.
“ [ ... ] do you think anyone else wants to work with you ? look at you. several tries at rehab and where do i keep finding you ? high off your ass, muttering some bullsh*t about wanting to quit. then leave... go. i'm not stopping you. i can make more of you ⏤ a better you. one who won't disappoint me by wasting their money away on f*cking drugs and hours of useless therapy. if you think any other company wants to deal with your sh*t, or better yet! if you think any of them will spare a look in your direction when you overdose in the employee bathroom again then be my f*cking guest and prove me wrong. or... you can go back to your dorm, suck it up, say some crappy pep talk in the mirror, and head to the studio for your recording session. your choice. ” ⠀ ★ ⠀ christian jang, leaked private meeting with ▊▊▊▊▊ in ▊▊▊▊.
over the course of nearly fifteen years, the entertainment company has become infamous for their rather "interesting" ways of promoting their acts. ranging from staged relationships and alleged plastic surgery, to their worrisome candids of excessive usage of drugs, alcohol, and seemingly a negligence towards their own well-being. it appeared as if the cameras were always rolling, none of their peace kept for long as article after article hit the media.
they say it's their image - their brand. it's celebrity culture, it comes with the job. you're supposed to be seen as an object. you have to have your privacy invaded or leaked or else, you're practically a nobody. you don't want that, right? all that hard work, training, recording, touring, advertising, money, friends, your life... it can't be for waste.
“ [ ... ] i don't know, man. i'm pretty sure she was there that night ? she usually never misses a friday night. uh... normally she gets dropped off after 9. something about her schedule or her groupmates b*tching ⏤ i don't know. i heard she got into a white car with some guy she was seeing but... i don't know. i don't remember seeing her here but maybe i was just too f*cked up to notice. hope she's alright tho. she was pretty cool. ” ⠀ ★ ⠀ witness statement, mentioned in an updated report in ▊▊▊▊.
though recent observations have led many to see the glaring gaps or inconveniences following poser around since 2020. a debut, a contract agreement, and the first police report made toward ▊▊▊▊▊▊ that will come to light years later. while POSER might have managed to cover their tracks and hide everything in plain sight, the cracks within their walls have begun to grow. 2025 will welcome the fifteen anniversary of a legacy, but just how right will go ?
