Atobe:

• He's the most open about acknowledging it. Kind of "Oh okay, Ore-sama has a crush. How do I get them?"

• And then he goes all out:

- Remember that time they mentioned they kind of wanted a new phone because the camera lens was dusty and they couldn't find time to clean it? Now they have a new phone.

- Remember when they said their PC was a bit slow? Yup. Now they have a new computer.

- Remember that time they asked for a pony for Christmas? Guess what... They really need to tell Atobe to stop. For the sake of common sense.

If they don't ask him to stop, he WON'T. Clothes, tech, trips, whatever they ask for they have it.

• Now. If they tell him to stop, they will. And if they see that buying things isn't working or that they are just accepting out of politeness, he'll find some other ways to woe them.

• And then he goes all out. Again:

- Flowers on their desk EVERY morning

- Picking them up from home and then taking them back there on his limusine. (May have taken them to school on Sunday accidentally once. Who knows.)

- The most expensive Belgian chocolates

- Going down their window to recite them poetry on a white horse

So basically now he has forsaken the "Let's be a sugar daddy" for the "let's be a romantic gentleman".

And really. Atobe. Just. Ask them out.

• "Wait. I didn't?"

"Atobe. You literally only had to ask and all of this is completely unnecessary"

"So... You'll go out with Ore-sama, right?"

*Sigh* "Yes. Yes I will."

• And at this point, his s/o isn't even surprised that he rented out a whole theatre for just the two of them.

• Having said that. If his s/o REALLY hates it. He will be a bit more low-key. He knows better that being way too pushy on them.

Tezuka:

• He takes some time to acknowledge it. Confusing his feelings at first with admiration. Until all his team is basically calling his crush "his partner" and Tezuka tells them they're not dating. That's when he realises. "Oh. I'd... Actually like that, though."

• His teammates try to give him advice. He hangs up on them every time. Even in person. He knows better than to trust them with any kind of love advice.

• His courtship is a lot more subdued. Asking to walk them home at first, and if that's met with acceptance he'll try to ask for a date. Something non-commiting like going to a museum or hiking or fishing if his crush is into it. Something he can always say "just as friends" if he sees reluctance.

• Once he goes past that, and he sees that his s/o is comfortable enough with hanging out with him he'd finally ask them out officially. "Next trip... Would it be fine if we make it a date?"

Sanada:

• His crush finds out he has a crush before he himself realises. And once he does he's in complete denial. "Yukimura, I don't have time for such non-sense" "Renji, your data is clearly wrong this time" "Akaya fifty laps around the courts!"

• At some point he just has to accept it though. Because he loses his breath every time his crush talks to him and there's no way that THAT isn't a crush.

• And what does he do about it? Nothing. He just tries to be the less awkward he can. Which isn't much. Because if his crush as much as smiles at him he hides behind his cap so no-one sees him blushing.

• They study together, and have dates which are basically Yukimura and Renji asking them out and then "Oops we had plans. Have fun the two of you." Someone bless this two.

• And then one day he finally gathers the strength and confesses with a: "(S/o/N), I... I know I'm not the best at this kind of things but... Would you... Would you give me the chance to date you?"

• And really, it was about time and his s/o should have probably confessed first and saved him the internal struggle. But it's been worth it. Because once he confesses he knows that he's 100% sure that they are the person he wants by his side.

Akutsu went up, licking between their parted legs and it took all of his s/o's self-restraint not to move again. But they'd manage. They always did. Gripping the table firmly to stay still, his s/o would obey his command.

His voice was appreciative, and there was a hint of fondness to it. So light you could miss it if you blinked. But it ran deep within him. The certainty that he loved them. Not that he'd say that outloud much. But it was there, and they knew it.

His tongue licked and twirled between their legs until his s/o was gasping for the need to feel more. To feel him. Going back up, he kissed their lips almost tenderly, a contrast to the rough, calused fingers entering their body deeply. He stilled for a moment to let them adapt —Causing pain was never his intention unless asked to.— before moving them.

His s/o asked. And even though they hadn't specified what they meant, he knew.

It was all it took for his s/o to wrap their legs around him, pulling him close, as their hands let go of the table to grip at his shoulders instead, nails pressing harshly, knowing he didn't mind.

A satisfied smirk appeared on his lips seeing his s/o letting their instincts take over. He growled lightly at the feeling of nails sinking on his skin, but didn't complain. It always turned him on further to see them lost in the bliss.

Another finger was added inside his s/o to finish stretching them properly before he pulled them up, hands firmly on their waist, still clinging to his body, and took them from the table to the nearest wall. Pressing their back firmly against it. He placed himself between the parted, eager legs and thrusted all the way inside. He knew they could take it, and they did. They'd both have marks the next day. His s/o would have the bruises of fingertips on their hips and wrists. He'd have marks of scratches all over his back. But no-one was as bold as to ask him about it, and everyone knew better that to question his s/o. So he'd wear them proudly.

He came first, but didn't stop. Even as he felt himself being overstimulated. He'd never let his partner unfinished. It didn't take long, though, the feeling of being filled up enough to make them come.

Afterwards, no one would talk about how he placed them on a hot bathtub and eased their muscles with careful pressing of fingers. Or about how he took them to bed, laid next to them and covered them both with a blanket. They wouldn't talk about the soft press of lips on his s/o's hair, or about strong firm arms wrapping around their body. They wouldn't talk about it, because Akutsu had some huge pride. But he also loved his partner, and he was loved back just as much. And really, there was no need to talk about it.

• He is a TEASE. He'll be constantly asking for songs at any given time and mentioning the fact that his s/o in great at singing. But like, in VERY embarrassing ways. "You don't mind singing me to sleep, do you?" In front. Of all. His teammates.

• He also genuinely enjoys hearing you sing though, and when they're alone he'll still ask them to sing him to sleep.

• During his stay at the hospital, his s/o voice was the only way to make him have a good night's sleep when he was feeling particularly restless. And that catched on even once he was out of it. If they can't be with Yukimura, he'll ask for voice recordings.

• He flaunts, a lot, about their skill. Like: "Atobe: Be awed by my beautiful voice" "Yukimura: Aha. (S/o/N) still sings better though."

• He actually wants them to duel Atobe over "singing prowess" at some point. "Seichii, honey, N O." He won't give up though.

• Whenever his s/o starts humming to themselves, a soft smile appears on his lips and he'll pay close attention without disrupting them. Always hoping that the humming turns into singing at any moment.

• In the end, even though he adores teasing his s/o, it's those calm moments, when they are doing something and singing along to whatever's on the radio that he truly cherishes.

• And YES. He'll totally ask them to sing impossible songs. "Seichii. You know this actually takes years to study right?" "I still think you could pull it off though" "Honey. No."

Shiraishi:

• "You should sing to cheer for me. That way, I certainly won't lose." He LOVES IT when his s/o goes to his matches and chants along with the cheerleaders

• He asks his s/o to sing Kintarou to sleep when he's being particularly restless and it works every time. Or uses the "I'll make them sing if you don't behave" to calm him down.

• Kintarou is convinced that Shiraishi's s/o can kill with their voice. Oops.

• Shiraishi and his s/o will have a lot of duets together. Specially on karaoke nights. But he can just start singing and hold his racket to them as if it was a microphone for his s/o to sing along. Weird? Why would that be weird?

• If his s/o sings to his plants (because it helps them grow beautifully) he'll m e l t.

NSFW AHEAD

Yukimura:

• Yukimura can be both gentle and caring and a sadist at the same time. He's the kind of person who will totally tie his s/o up while telling them that they're amazing and precious.

• If his partner isn't into submission he could work with that and wouldn't push them. Even if he's hardly "Vanilla" he'd be fine with having a partner who was.

• If his partner IS into submission he'd take full advantage of that. Always within his s/o stablished limits.

• Even if his partner allowed him to go all out on his sadistic side, he'd never do anything that could potentially harm or cause any permanent injuries.

- YUKIMURA

• They meet every afternoon after practice to discuss how it went and how to improve.

• Noone knows exactly when it happened, but the clubroom is now filled with his s/o favourite flowers.

• They're both quite scary when people are not training as hard as they should. And if separated they are powerful, together they are a force of nature to be reckoned.

• His s/o cuddles with him whenever they can. Publicly or not, they don't care. But Yukimura is totally fine with that.

- SANADA

• PDA? What's that?

• Sanada will always help his s/o in everything they need. Be it paperwork or anything else.

• During Yukimura's stay at the hospital, their s/o forced him to take a day off when they knew he was particularly down. Sanada complained endlessly, of course, but when it came to his health, his s/o wouldn't give up.

• If his s/o ever as much as hugged him in front of someone he got flustered and flushed red.

- RENJI

• Comes up with the best formations and helps his s/o a lot.

• Doesn't mind staying after hours to help them with documents.

• Will always listen to them and go with their plan, even if he thinks it has room for improvement.

• Somehow, his s/o plans always surpass his data.

• Won't show public displays of affection asides from stroking their hair or something of the sort in passing.

- AKAYA

• Clings to them whenever he's not playing.

• If he gets into Devil mode at a bad time his s/o simply kisses his cheek and he calms down. Instantly.

• Will help them with moral support, but that's it. He doesn't know how to handle all the needed documents. His s/o really appreciates his presence, though. So it's fine.

• He gets very flustered with displays of affection, but he loves them.

- MARUI

• When Marui has a great match they treat him to sweets afterwards. So he really increases his dedication to training.

• He will help as much as needed as long as he gets sweets or kisses out of it.

• Yes, he likes PDA. A lot. Almost as much as Niou if not more. So he will come to kiss his s/o after every match, or a particularly intense training or... Just because, really.

• If anyone (coughSanadacough) complains about it, his excuse his always the same "Oh, but fukobuchou, I need the sweetness, remember?" Somehow it works.

- NIOU

• They prank each other. At first it was just Niou pranking them, but they decided that was enough.

• They get on Sanada's nerves A LOT

• Somehow this is the only "route" where Niou doesn't tease you. Because he knows Yagyuu can be way worse when provoked and noone would ever know it was him.

• He's not one fond of PDA, but he will hug you from behind from time to time, leaning his head on your shoulder. And if you ever initiate something he will reply in kind.

- JACKAL

• At first he thought their s/o was with Marui because the three spent a lot of time together after training and to him that was the logical conclusion.

• One day though Marui asked you out on a date... With Jackal. They said yes, while Jackal stood there dumbfounded. But hey, he wasn't going to complain, he was really happy about it.

• Will help them a lot in everything they need.

• He's not usually one to initiate public displays of affection, but he won't hesitate to give them back if their s/o initiates them.

- URAYAMA

• Is constantly around their s/o, like a puppy.

• Will kiss you on the cheek as a congratulations every time you win a game.

• He knows the best food stalls

• He watches the fireworks, but without letting you go for a moment.

- YUKIMURA

• He's quite good at catching fish, and will try any game you want him to. But he's fine with just watching you play, as long as you have fun.

• He actually watches the fireworks, but will turn to look at you just because he really enjoys seeing you happy.

• Walks hand in hand with you through all the Festival.

• Will place little kisses in your hair at any given time just because.

• A boy thought you were two girls and started flirting with you... Both. Legend has it that no one saw him ever again.

- ATOBE

• If you have social anxiety or simply don't want to be around too much people he can and WILL rent the whole venue for just the two of you.

• Won't necessarily hold your hand, since there's not much risk of you getting out of his sight, but he will if you come through a particularly crowded part. Or just because.

• He'll let you try as many times as you want on the games, but won't participate himself unless you dare him. "That's not fit for a Ki-- AHN? What do you mean Ore-sama can't do it? Of course... Be awed by my prowess"

• He's HORRIBLE at those games.

• Somehow he managed for there to be a firework with your name followed by a heart one. Because he's extra like that, and really, you have to love him.

• After the fireworks he'll place a kiss on your forehead while holding you against his chest.

- NIOU

He persuades them with soft murmurs and near-sensuous cuddling to at least take a nap for him on the couch, until they fall asleep in his arms?

[ Sleepless ]

You had been assigned a really important project for school, and that meant working extra hard to make sure that everything was perfect. But perhaps, you took that "extra hard" thing to a whole new level when you decided that it was unimportant if you went to sleep at 2 am every night. So what if you had to wake up at 6 am the next day? What really mattered was that you were certainly going to get an A. Right? Well, your boyfriend didn't seem to think the same way as you.

Yukimura x Reader:

But as much as he tried to convince you to go to sleep, you didn't want to listen to him. As days went by though, you started to become edgier. Getting easily annoyed at the smallest of things, like whether he put the milk in your morning bowl before or after the cereals and things like that.And as gentle and understanding as Yukimura tried to be, everyone has a limit. Of course, he wasn't going to make Sanada order you to run laps like he would have done with his teammates. No. You were his girl(boy)friend. But that didn't mean that he'd let you go unpunished for not listening to him.You were in your living room, as usual, those days, working on your project endlessly. Your parents had gone shopping and the two of you were alone in the house.He came back from the kitchen with a cup of camomille tea and a sandwich. Of course, he had to make sure that you at least ate properly.The soft and way-too-sweet smile on his face made you think twice before taking the cup between your hands.

"I really hope you haven't retorted to poisoning me to force me to sleep Yukimura"

You eyed him suspiciously. But don't take me wrong, you wouldn't usually think that, and deep down you really knew that he wouldn't poison you. But yeah... lack of sleep wasn't good for you at all.He looked almost hurt for a moment at your words, but his smile softened, become a more real one, soon turning to the too-sweet smile he had before.

"Of course not darling. Who do you take me for?"

You sighed and took a gulp of your tea. No, not poisoned. So you decided to finish the rest of your meal and keep working. But as soon as your hand was placed over the keyboard, another hand, Yukimura's, took your wrist.

"No, honey. Not more today."

You were about to protest, but you couldn't really open your mouth when his arms surrounded your waist gently.

"I should take your senses away... perhaps then you'd sleep."

The soft chuckle in his voice let you know that he was obviously joking. He wouldn't do that. Not to you. And you weren't edgy enough to think so low. Then again... you thought he'd been able to poison you. So perhaps some reassurance wasn't too bad at the moment. You could have only wished that it hadn't been whispered into your ear. There was no possible way to deny him anything if he sweet talked you into it...

"But it'd make me a lot happier if you accepted it on your own will."

The kiss he placed behind your ear next didn't help your willpower either. So when he gently raised you and took you to the couch you barely could resist. Not that you REALLY wanted to anyways... you just felt like you had to. The project wouldn't get finished alone after all.

"Yukimura, I really need to do this... please"

He sighed softly and cupped your cheek gently.

"Just a nap. I promise I'll wake you up in two hours. But you need to rest. Lack of sleep is really starting to get to you."

His voice sounded genuinely concerned as he pulled you down on his lap gently, stroking your hair softly. You knew what was going on. You understood his smile and his sweet talk and his soft touches, but you couldn't avoid it. You leaned your head in his chest sighing in defeat.

"Fine. But just two hours. Not a minute more."

One of his hands traveled down your spine and drew the contour of your body, slowly, while the other kept stroking your hair so gently that you knew you'd fall asleep any second now. And you did. The last thing you felt was a pair of lips against your neck whispering a soft "goodnight".

You woke up at six am the next day with the beeping of your alarm clock. Stupid Yukimura... he had said TWO HOURS. But as you felt his arms still wrapped around you, you realized that perhaps he was right. Some sleep was needed from time to time.

Shiraishi x Reader:

But he knew that words wouldn't be enough to convince you. Not this time at least. You lived on coffee basically, which meant you were extra hyper. That was good in some way since it helped you to focus actively on your work and made you process everything faster as much as it kept you awake. But then came the downings, when the coffee burst started to fade and you started to feel too tired, too apathetic, almost bordering on depressive sometimes. That's when you had to go for another cup of coffee desperately.Shiraishi hated seeing you like that. You didn't seem yourself anymore lately and he couldn't help but be really worried about it. He knew it'd be over once you had your project finished so he tried to give you some space. Until THAT happened.It had been a particularly stressful weekend since you had an exam next Monday, and perhaps that was the reason why you didn't double-check your coffee capsules ration on Saturday as you usually did. Which led to a really bad downing and a really angry, stressed and desperate You shouting at Shiraishi.

"I need my coffee! Love, I mean it!"

He could only sigh and caress your back while he hugged you on the couch where you had been working almost an hour ago before you had your breakdown due to lack of caffeine.

"It's Sunday honey... you know that there are no shops open today..."

And that... well, that didn't particularly help either. You needed coffee, and you needed it NOW.

"That's not fair! I'm sure there must be somewhere open! I'll go and--"

As you were about to stand up to go on the hunt for an open store, he dragged you back down to the couch, making you lay down and looking at you from above your face before pressing a soft kiss on your lips with his usual sweetness.

"I know flower, you want coffee. But... wouldn't my lips be enough... at least for now?"

You couldn't help but blush deep red at such a statement, whispered so softly, so gently. How could you say no to that?

"...Maybe?"

You looked at him uncertainly. and he made you sit down again to caress your cheek and lean in for another kiss. It didn't taste anything like coffee, at all. This was sweet and tasted of strawberries. Why strawberries? you'd make sure to ask later... perhaps. But you didn't mind. It was just perfect that way.Before you could even realize it, you started to close your eyes between his kisses, and as soon as they were closed, you couldn't open them again until much much later. But it really didn't matter, did it?

When you woke up you were still on the couch, laying down, with the only difference that this time it was a blanket wrapped around you instead of Shiraishi's arms. You preferred the second option, but it was fine.It was even better when you stood up and saw a perfect cup of coffee waiting for you on the small table.

Definitely, you had the best boyfriend ever.

 You knewyou should have worked harder, you should have started sooner… but it wasn’t asif you had simply neglected studying at all. It’s just that it was really hard,not making it any easier to concentrate. And of course, the expected thinghappened, you failed the test. Not by much, which was already something, butyou failed nevertheless.

So, whenyou got to the tennis court, you already expected what was coming next. Thealways stoic captain of your team, Tezuka Kunimitsu, approached you with is usualstern facade.

- (y/n), you’llbe doing extra laps today for your slip in chemistry. You’ll stay 15 moreminutes than the rest of the team. Understood? -There was no aggressiveness or disappointmentin his voice. It made it look as if you could have negotiated. But the firmnesson it, that was a different thing. No, it was an order. Calm and polite, but anorder nevertheless. True leaders didn’t need to raise their voice to be obeyed,and Tezuka was one. So, you could only nod in understanding and walk away tocontinue the practice.

Of course,what you couldn’t have expected, was for him to stay with you the whole 15minutes of your “punishment”. But there he was, as soon as you opened thelocker’s room to head one, standing against the wall, waiting patiently for youto come out.

- (Y/N),May I have a word with you on your way home?

Of course,you said yes! You wouldn’t let a chance like that go away. As soon as youstarted walking through the front gate, Tezuka started to speak again.

- We both knowthat your grades haven’t been the best on this latest exam. But may I ask why?

You doubtedfor a moment, not wanting to give HIM a vague answer, but you really couldn’tfind any explanation.

- I just… Icouldn’t concentrate, Tezuka-buchou. I’m really sorry. I promise I’ll pass themake up test!

He turnedhis gaze to you briefly and then went back to watch front, in utter silence,until you reached your home. Any other person may have considered it unnervingor rude, but you had no problem with being silent. Just by having the chance tospend time with him, you were already happy. No words were needed.

- W-well…thanks for walking me home…

He still didn’tleave though.

- (Y/N), I’vethought that it might be useful if I help you this time. I’d be able to explainyou whatever you don’t understand. If that’s fine for you. I really think reinforcementis needed.

You couldn’tbelieve your ears! You were going to study with Tezuka from now on!... At leastfor that particular exam, which was already a couple of hours more you’d get tosee him weekly.

He repliedwith a curt “you’re welcome” and a “goodnight” and he walked away, leaving youon your front door, feeling your chest warmer than ever before.

 And so, youstarted to study together. It wasn’t particularly fun but being with Tezuka reallywas useful. He cleared any doubts you had easily and helped you to stayfocused. And even though not once his attention wavered from helping you withyour grades, you could start to feel a little closer to each other. Perhaps itwas your perception, but maybe there was really a tiny hint of something-elselingering on the air between you.

 And thenthe awaited day came. The exam. And just a week later, the results.

 You staredat the piece of paper covered with red marks, particularly at the numbers onthe top right of the page “89/100” it read. You couldn’t hide your happiness, abroad smile making its appearance on your lips as you packed everything andrushed out of the classroom and to the tennis training grounds, since it hadbeen the last period already. Plus, you couldn’t wait to tell Tezuka.

As soon asyou saw him you ran up to him almost shoving the sheet to his face.

- Lookbuchou! We did it!

He onlystared at you for a brief moment before handing out his hand in signal ofrespect.

- No,(y/n), you did it. I just gave my bit of support. Good job. Next time, I’m sureyou’ll do even better without my help.

Overwhelmedby the happiness of seeing you Buchou and crush proud, you got on your tip-toesand gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, smiling at him afterwards.

- Still,thank you for everything! Your help was really useful, buchou! I don’t know ifI’d have managed to do it on my own.

He blinkedtwice but showed no other signal of even noticing the kiss. Well, at least hedidn’t seem to mind it. Yet his words…
