This morning 3 russian missiles hit the center of Chernihiv, one of the oldest cities in Ukraine and Europe. At least 11 people were killed and 22 injured, the rescue mission is still going, so the numbers will rise.

Ukraine needs air defence!

I lived in Chernihiv for 3 months in 2017 - my Godmother invited me to stay alone in her flat for free (she was abroad) when she learned I struggled to find a place. I had to drive 2 hours for my work in Kyiv😅 But I loved it. Very atmospheric, calm and beautiful city. It is VERY old - 9th century. I would have preferred to live there if I could. My Godmother died from cancer a year later and now Moskovites are destroying that beautiful city too

A Ukrainian rescuer from Poltava, Andrii Hrechanyi, ran the Kyiv Unbroken Half Marathon in full firefighter gear. He dedicated his race to the Kharkiv State Emergency Service workers killed by Russia's shelling during the rescue operation.

The half marathon, which took place on 14 April, attracted 5,500 participants and raised over UAH 2 million for the medical battalion "Hospitallers."

The Russians hit Kostyantynivka with an aerial bomb.

Around 10:00 p.m., the Russians struck the city. Information about the victims has not yet been received.

The kindergarten building was partially destroyed, and private houses were damaged.
