JJK SHIBUYA ARC SPOILERS

With all my heart, I truly believe, that itafushi is going to be canon. And I think Akutami is going to tear our hearts out.

I think we are being set up for the “2 gay warriors find each other and come to trust and love each other because of the threat of death around them,”and then death is going to come knocking just as the love has blossomed.

It’s going to be an Achilles and Patroclus.

And I really think it’s going to be them having to finally deal with the fact they both are about to die. (at minimium Akutami is killing one of them and leaving us heart broken.)

My evidence: The significant emphasis on the two of them being unwilling to separate, like it’s the two of them constantly fighting to prevent the others death.

Add on top of the prior that Kugisaki doesn’t behave the same way, with outbursts of worry and anxiety over their safety.

The boys have the same moments of complete panic, where they start demanding the other to promise they’ll be safe and not die. But that panic never occurs with Kugisaki

And now Kugisaki is gone and it’s just going to be them through the culling game.

Kugisaki is gone and they have to hold on to each other.

Gojo is gone and they only have each other.

Nanami is gone and they need each other.

And I will bet so much money it’s going to be only them facing off at the end of this all.

I think we are going to get our itafushi and it’s going to leave us sobbing.
