I am currently on chapter 2 of Tarot by Numbers by Liz Dean for a book club/numerology study I'm in.

I did the ace spread on page 54 (in case you have the book. It is on Kindle Unlimited, if you're interested in reading).

I wasn't particularly fond of the cardinal directions the author used. She put Pentacles at North and Swords at East, where as I typically switch those since I follow the cardinal signs of the medicine wheel, and I did switch them in my picture below.

Either way, I enjoyed the spread. I pulled the strength card as my center card. This is a time for finding inner strength!

Today's entry in "The Year of Letting Go" by R.H. Sin and published by Andrews McMeel Publishing.

This poem feels very 6 of swords and 8 of cups. Now if you’re not familiar with these two cards, the aspects are following (this is based on my own personal interpretation of the cards):

6 of swords:

Moving on

Leaving behind

Accepting lessons learned

8 of cups:

Abandonment

Walking away

Letting go

Leaving behind

They both have that aspect of leaving things behind, but you have conflicting emotional side of things with the cups and the mental side of things with the 6 of swords. You may feel those feelings of abandonment and knowing you need to let go or else you’ll never change anything and you’ll just be stuck in the past.

So, see this as an opportunity to accept the lessons you’re given. Someone leaves that’s on them, but you can learn and grow from that in order to move on and let go.

Which is the point of this book.

I thought I'd do a mini introduction post before I start posting.

I’m Priscilla. Most people call me Pris, Cill, Cilla, or Priscilla.

A little about me:

I’ve been a tarot reader for 8 years

I’m a Sagittarius sun, Scorpio moon, and Aquarius rising. But funnily enough, I don’t always relate to my sun sign.

My favourite colour is green (any shade of green).

I absolutely love pizza. My favourite is supreme/deluxe/all dressed (whatever you want to call it as it goes by too many names). And yes, I don’t mind pineapple on pizza as long as it’s paired with pepperoni instead of ham, because I hate ham.

I’m a cat person and wish I could have a cat. Though, I’m not allowed due to my lease. So instead, I own a stupid amount of cat decks to substitute my love for them!

I love music and listen to music every single day. It helps shut out outside noise while I do work or want to focus.

And lastly, reading and learning are some of my favourite things to do. Enjoying a good book or learning something new, just brings light to my eyes.
