#RECOUNT2016
If anyone is currently confused on what’s happening, JILL STEIN (in a shocking turn of events, I know) has put together a campaign to raise enough money to call for a recount in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Very recently, a number of analysts have reached out to the Clinton campaign to urge them to request a recount. Why?
US intelligence has recently admitted Russian hackers were able to intrude into some electronic voting systems. This alone should be grounds for a recount.
Trump won Wisconsin by 0.7%, Pennsylvania by 1.2%, and Michigan by 0.3%. All of these states showed disproportionate voting results in Trump’s favor in areas that counted ballots by electronic methods
It was almost statistically improbably for Trump to win Florida like he did, as he would have had to win around 70% of the same-day vote
Things just aren’t adding up
THE STEIN CAMPAIGN NEEDS TO RAISE $2 MILLION BY FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25TH AT 5 PM EST. THIS IS VERY TIME SENSITIVE. She’s already raised quite a bit in just a few hours, but that doesn’t guarantee that she will get enough. Here’s a direct statement from the website:
THE LINK TO DONATE IS HERE. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD EVEN IF YOU CAN’T DONATE. WE DESERVE TO HAVE THE VOTE CONFIRMED. THIS CAN AND WILL BE DONE.

screened the deck and finally gave it a real name: Aimonomia Tarot!
kind of an inside joke about how i hate to name things, but i think it’s a lot nicer than “untitled”, which is what most of my projects get lmao

art takes hours to produce and seconds to consume so dont act suprised when artists get upset when their posts only get likes and no reblogs
similarly a piece of writing that takes a few minutes to read could have weeks of work behind it… dont take creativity for granted when ur getting it for free

I'll post a link on this blog (as well as on my main one) as soon as my shop opens on Etsy but here's a look at some of the first listings!
The shop is going to start out pretty simple with just full and half-circle skirts, but if all goes well I hope to expand to other products! Watch out for our launch coming soon on Etsy!

Boning channels!
they look absolutely terrible but i love them because theyre fun. not to sew in, of course, but I like boned stuff.
basically I just spent most of the morning sewing all these channels to the wrong side of my bodice lining. it looks a little messy but nobody’s going to be seeing it, really, so im not all that worried.
then, I sewed the necklines of the bodice and the lining together and clipped the V shape of the sweetheart neckline.
finally, i understitched the lining of the bodice (but i don’t have a photo of it)

I don’t have any photos because I was basically just fixing the fit on the bodice and the lining. Its still going to be a little tight, but its boned so I’m not all the worried about it.
I also finally got some cheap ribbon that I can sew on as boning channels from the store because, as we should all know by now, I’m cheap af

Tumblr got all of my images super blurry in this post! Which I super do not appreciate.
Look at that. Ugh. Save me
Anyway I sewed together the princess, side, and back side seams for the bodice today and pressed all of the seams open.
I did the same to all of the bodice lining pieces, which got really prickled because its cheap af (just like me lmao)
It looked slightly better after being pressed, but I digress.

After getting everything cut out, I finished the edges of e v e r y t h i n g so that the fabric (especially with the main fabric, which was already starting to fray a lot) wouldn’t shed like a pack of dogs all over while I tried to work.
I also sewed all of the underlining pieces to the bodice pieces and pressed all of my fabric (which is probably going to get messed up again later down the road, but who cares).
I finally put it all in a ziplock too (including my boning stays, which just came in!)

So when all of my pieces were finally cut out and taped together, I was able to cut out the fabric, underlining, and lining for everything.
I cut out both lining and underlining for the bodice but just lining for the skirt, which I also got that white trim stuff for.
When I cut out the skirt, I made the pattern as long as the biggest size in the pattern book and then added as much length as the fabric would allow me, which ended up being another 4 inches. So the length of the skirt is going to be about 34″, unless I decide to hem it up more.

I don’t have photos but I basically spent the day cutting and putting together the pattern after drafting it from out of the book. It was [sarcasm] whole bucketloads of fun !
