Hi there, from one Arthuriana enthusiast to another.

I have enjoyed the great privilege of doing the adaptation and art for Neil Gaiman's short story CHIVALRY in graphic novel form.

In this tale, a little old lady finds the Holy Grail in a charity shop.

Then Sir Galaad, noble knight of the Round Table, comes calling.

For those who don't know, in the original spelling, Sir Galahad was Galaad.

It is my favorite of all Neil's stories. It is one of my favorite short stories of all time.

It comes out in March. In several countries, I think. It is published in the USA by Dark Horse Comics.

I very much hope you like it!

Sitting on the same WIP for literal *years* and then being sorely disappointed with it when I finally finish it

it seems so strange to me that the only people it is socially acceptable to live with (once you reach a certain stage in life) are sexual partners? like why can’t i live with my best friend? why can’t i raise a child with them? why do i need to have sex with someone in order to live with them? why do we put certain relationships on a pedestal? why don’t we value non-sexual relationships enough? why do life partners always have to be sexual partners?

Okay so storytime because this was a funny coincidence and I still can’t believe it happened. I used to write a ton of Wattpad fanfic for a different fandom when I was 14. A few of them got surprisingly popular and hit a pretty wide audience. Very few people actually knew that I wrote fanfic- only my two best friends and my younger brother. So a year or so passes and one of my best friends has a birthday party. At the party, I run into a girl who I haven’t met before and recognize a very familiar orange logo on her phone. Being the awkward teenager I am, I ask her about it and we begin to exchange account information.

Except she realizes she’s already following me.

Turns out, she was one of the avid fans of a fanfic I had written. Commented, voted, everything. Fast forward three years of us becoming super close friends and she’s telling this story at my graduation party in front of a hundred people (calling it “short stories online” not fanfiction).

Anyway, the internal panic I had after half of my extended family approached me that evening asking to read these “short stories” was pretty unmatchable even to this day.
