Which song he's listened to with Eleven do you think should be his Vecna repellent?

I think that his Anti-Vecna song should be one he experienced with Eleven, but... which one? One of my favorite AO3 writers, OTTSTF, had written a fic mentioning it being "Every Breath You Take" but I was thinking it would be "Can't Fight This Feeling" because it just fits them so well, and it was one of the songs they were listening to while kissing and being carefree.

I definitely can't guarantee I'll do yours but I'm growing incredibly aware of my obsession with these two seeming to die down and I frankly don't want that to happen. I've been focused on other things but it's just a weird hyperfixation thing, I guess. It'd feel like a total loss and I really don't want to "mourn" this passion of mine. So that's my situation. Just figured dabbling the idea of doing fanfic requests would possibly get me back into it.

I long for something as domestic and brand-new as what they had in S1 at Mike's house.

That's something I love about them, in general– Just how brand-new everything is for both of them. It's a first love, but also a love that lasts. It's an introduction to a lot of happy things.

I dunno if any of my followers like The Dark Knight Trilogy or Scarecrow, but I made a sideblog named DrSquirmyDog, which is a fan-page for Cillian Murphy's versions of Scarecrow.

This is one of my favorite pictures of them.

I really love this picture. It feels vaguely passionate, pre-knowing the context. The emotions run high the whole episode, and everything kinda of builds off of each other in a really appealing way, I just wish these two had more time to work some things out. That ending left me super hyped! I've just been thinking of it so long and I wish we had gotten some more. I mean, what did these two even do or talk about on the way to Surfer Boy Pizza? Would've loved a scene about that, but I guess the placement wouldn't have felt right to the writers or something. I just wish they had more screentime together than they really do.

Thoughts about a depressed Mike.

I know I've vaguely talked about that before, mostly in passing on other posts.

I like this picture a lot, and it sort of made me think of him, really.

When Nancy mentioned Mike's room looking worse than Hopper's destroyed cabin, or something like that, I really just... wondered. Sometimes he reminds me of the worst parts of myself, and seeing the way he behaves and is spoken about, I just really feel like he's depressed. I feel like a lot of fans brush past his issues, some dinguses (probably trolls, in truth) even saying that he doesn't have any trauma– But after everything that's happened to him, I know I'd be tired inside too, every day. He seems tired, too tired to clean his room apparently. I wouldn't brush that off as "teen boy laziness", I moreso think that nearly dying multiple times and watching the people you love leave and disappear in a way that's almost a pattern–especially in the stage of all that hormonal brain development– would be a massive weight to carry. He can't even tell his parents about all that's happened, and it seems his friends don't really get it either. I like his emotions, even if they'd been pretty sidelined in the show for a couple seasons now. I see you, Mike. I watch with sympathetic eyes.

This was adorable in 2019 and it still is.

The thought of these two messed up kids finally getting that sweet, simple romance they'd longed so much for. The gate had closed, they probably danced and smiled until their energy gave out, and so started a prolonged connection and physical attachment between the two. After everything, that's all they should get: mundane, happy time together. Oh, you precious trauma monsters, happy loving! Hold hands until the only reason your muscles are cramping up isn't because of the monsters you're fighting, but because your fingers have been entwined so long. Kiss until you're satisfied– And realize that's impossible XD. Hug until you've been all hugged out.
