TERF has become so synonymous with bad person (which is true btw, not claiming it isn't) that people stopped thinking critically about what TERF actually means. Like I just blocked a blog that had TERFs and lesbian men in their DNI. You are still vulnerable for falling into TERF thinking if you keep a strict binary thinking about sexuality and can't imagine multigender people IDing in contractionary ways or trans people having a different relationship with sexuality than you think they should have based on their gender. Just saying TERFs DNI does not make you immune for their thinking or automatically right about your opinions about trans people. Yes, TERFs are bad people, but people have to start thinking critically about what it means to be a TERF...

The Ending Fire is an Adult, Queer, High Fantasy trilogy.
Representation: Two Cis Sapphic and one Trans Woman main characters with a Queernormative society. Queer and Trans side characters.
Please check trigger warnings for these books, some warnings I can give are: Body Horror, Torture, Child Abuse, Addiction, Racism.
Synopsis for Book one, The Final Strife:
"Red is the blood of the elite, of magic, of control. Blue is the blood of the poor, of workers, of the resistance. Clear is the blood of the slaves, of the crushed, of the invisible. Sylah dreams of days growing up in the resistance, being told she would spark a revolution that would free the empire from the red-blooded ruling classes’ tyranny. That spark was extinguished the day she watched her family murdered before her eyes. Anoor has been told she’s nothing, no one, a disappointment, by the only person who matters: her mother, the most powerful ruler in the empire. But when Sylah and Anoor meet, a fire burns between them that could consume the kingdom—and their hearts. Hassa moves through the world unseen by upper classes, so she knows what it means to be invisible. But invisibility has its uses: It can hide the most dangerous of secrets, secrets that can reignite a revolution. And when she joins forces with Sylah and Anoor, together these grains of sand will become a storm. As the empire begins a set of trials of combat and skill designed to find its new leaders, the stage is set for blood to flow, power to shift, and cities to burn. "

| Rowan Blood series by Kellen Graves | 🏳️‍🌈
The Rowan Blood is a Queer, High Fey Fantasy series for New Adult audiences (ages 18-25).
Representation: MLM Romance with a Queernormative society. Queer, Trans, Non-Binary side characters.
Please check Trigger Warnings before reading these books, some warnings I can give are: On-page Sex Scenes, Mental & Physical Abuse, Torture, Violence, Sexual Harassment, Drugging. (These things are done to or around the main characters, not to each other, this is not an abusive relationship)
Synopsis for Book One, Prince Of The Sorrows:
"Without an academic endorsement to make him valuable to the high fey, Saffron will be sent back through the veil to the human world. The place he was traded from as a changeling-baby, and a place he is terrified of. And while getting an endorsement shouldn't be impossible, it's hindered by the fact his literacy is self-taught, using books stolen off of Morrígan Academy's campus of high fey students. When mistaken identity leads to Saffron learning the true name of brooding, self-centered, high fey Prince Cylvan, what begins as a risk of losing his life (or his tongue) becomes an opportunity to earn the future he wants. In exchange for an endorsement, he and Cylvan form a geis where Saffron agrees to find a spell to strip power from Cylvan's true name. While Prince Cylvan doesn't know Saffron can barely read, Saffron is determined to meet his end of the deal in order to remain in Alfidel—or, maybe, just to remain by Cylvan's side, as affections grow stronger every night they spend alone in the library together. But as other human servants soon fall victim to a beast known only as “The Wolf”, Saffron realizes he has embroiled himself in a manipulative reach for power like he never anticipated—and even Prince Cylvan cannot be trusted. Between the wolf, uncovering forbidden magic, and his growing feelings for the prince, Saffron will have to decide which is most important to him—his endorsement, the lives of his friends, or the prince’s life and wellbeing."
Book One:
Prince Of The Sorrows.
Book Two:
Lord Of Silver Ashes.
Book Three:
Herald Of The Witches Mark. (10/20/23)
More books are planned for this series.

Realizing that I'm Demisexual (possibly Demiromantic as well) has opened up so much about my childhood that I didn't understand. How I always felt left out that I didn't have any crushes or even knew what that felt like. Never relating to Disney shows where the characters had crushes or were going on first dates. Never understanding my friends obsession with boys. Tricking myself into thinking I had celebrity crushes just because my friends did.
How I never put this together before now ...
I guess because I didn't realize my attraction to others of any gender, which is how I know I'm pan, was physical/aesthetic attraction, not sexual or romantic, realizing I've never actually felt that before.
I'm using Demi as a label for now because I do think that I can feel and experience sexual and romantic attraction, I don't think I'm fully ace but I guess we'll see.
Thank you to those that commented on my other post!

I want to warn y'all about a movie, specifically Trans people, a movie called The Garden Left Behind, it's about a Trans woman trying to start her medical transition, it was fine for the first hour but the ending is absolutely horrific, I didn't expect it, I immediately turned it off and I'm trying not to have an anxiety attack right now it triggered me so bad. I'm not going to count it as my movie for tonight, I'm gonna watch a Queer comedy and post that. Please be careful.

Hi, I have a question for Demisexuals and anybody on the Demi/Ace spectrum. Obviously nobody can tell someone else what their sexuality is and what labels you should use but I've been questioning if I'm Demisexual, or if maybe there's another word for what I feel. Any help would be great.
So I'm Pansexual, I can find people attractive regardless of their gender, but I do find people attractive without having a connection with them but I have no want, need or desire to be with them, I'll think about it but I have zero desire or want to be with them unless I know them. I never think about sex when I find someone attractive, I never want anything like that. Demisexual has always been described to me as feeling no attraction to anyone unless/until you have a strong personal bond and connection with them, so what's stopping me from also using that label is because I absolutely do find people physically attractive I just don't want anything with them without actually knowing them first. Like I'd never do anything with a stranger.
Now is that apart of Demisexuality? Or is it just not anything specific? I've realized that I don't have any desire for anything sexual, romance definitely have a want for, I love and want romantic relationships, when I see Queer couples in love I want that too but I don't even think about romance when I find someone attractive, it's always I find that person physically attractive but that's as far as it goes. Having not dated anyone before it's hard for me to know if I'll ever want anything sexual unless I'm with someone.
I know we don't need a label for everything but it's nice to know if there's word to describe how we're feeling. 💜

|| Edge Of Seventeen (1998) || 4/5🌟 || Drama/Romance || "Set in 1984 in Sandusky, Ohio, it follows the coming-out of a naive 17-year-old at exactly the moment when gender-bending pop stars like Boy George and the Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics were flaunting androgynous images. As the youth, played with a heartbreaking sweetness by Chris Stafford, goes through his first rites of gay passage he emerges as a poignant gay everyman."
Content Warnings: Some Nudity, Alcohol, Homophobia, Sex scenes.
The chemistry Chris Stafford had with all the actors he was linked with is wild.
Beautiful story.
I need all of Eric's outfits please and thank you.

|| My First Summer (2020) || 4/5🌟 ||Romance/Drama || "Isolated on a remote property, 16-year-old Claudia finds her sheltered world transformed when spirited teenager Grace appears in her garden, and the pair find a connection they both need."
Content Warnings: Suicide, Attempted Suicide, Panic Attacks.
This was a very sweet and sad movie. I really liked it.
I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the movie was so short we didn't get any explanations for a few key moments of the plot.
