Mike clings to Dustin hard-core when they started high school since Lucas defected to b-ball team and Will moved. Mike also is basically orbiting Dustin's every movement cuz he feels guilty about not spending enough time with him from s3 foolishness. They make sure to have the same schedules for classes to be close to each other navigating freshmen yr

Mike kind of is jealous at Eddie initially cuz he didn't like Dustin considering another dm for dnd. He, of course, later on sees that Eddie isn't a threat and accepts joining Hellfire with Dustin

Shocked that Lucas and Will had their 1st kiss with each other way back when they were kids at the time the Wheeler fam went away on vacation and Dustin had yet to move into town, Mike suggests to even the odds he and Dustin should kiss too to be each other's "1st boy kissed"

Mike sees Dustin as his most loyal friend simply by Dustin is the only og party member still within his reach and Dustin gets Mike is super bummed at the fractured party so he goes out of his way to be his most present friend following s3 aftermath

They were the ones that came up with the science experiments for the science fairs, Lucas and Will just tagged along as extra help

Dustin and Mike do their homework together. They get used to be the only ones on movie nights or sleepovers since Lucas is busy "team bonding" and ofc Will has moved away

Mike and Dustin use the same products for their curly hair, but don't get the same results, causing them to hunt down which shampoo & conditioner is good for both of them

Dustin stays ready to insult Ted bc he doesn't like how he treats Mike and Mike still doesn't know until they're adults about the beef Dustin has with his emotionally checked out dad

Dustin and Mike talk about what happened at the quarry, with Dustin making Mike promise never to jump or be that reckless again

They get older and host a radio show together. Then they get even older and switch to making podcasts

They get a YouTube channel setup to teach folks about vintage tech and how to use it

They're drinking buddies so that means sometimes they pass out together and cuddle from partying too hard with Steddie

Mike admits to Dustin that he's also jealous of Steve's friendship towards Dustin, prompting Dustin to clock that Mike gets possessive over his friends a lot

Mike provides the snacks and Dustin eats them all
