When we’re new to adulthood, it doesn’t immediately occur to all of us that you’re almost always allowed to leave a situation, because growing up we’re forced to stay in situations until someone dismisses us and/or takes us home, or if we do leave on our own accord there’s someone waiting at home to say “we don’t quit in this family!” Boring party? You can leave. You don’t like the lecture? You can walk out. New doctor not working out? You can end the appointment, you don’t need to wait for them to dismiss you. Bad date? You can just go home. Leaving a situation prematurely might have consequences, but unless you’re under arrest or serving prison time, it’s pretty much always allowed.

awww just the thought of stargazing with my bestie makes me feel delighted đŸ«¶đŸ„č tmi: it has been a while since I did stargazing because whenever I ever go out at night, I can only mostly see the city lights and it's rare to see stars on polluted city sky đŸ˜„ (there are few on the nights of full moon but you can barely see the constellations đŸ˜„)
hold my hand, and let's look at the stars together

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but please don’t break promises you make to yourself just because it’s you the promise is being made to. You told yourself you’d go on a walk with tomorrow morning? Do it. You said you’d set more consistent with your skincare routine? Make it happen. You promised yourself you would work on establishing boundaries regardless of who’s on the other side of them? Follow through with that. Don’t wake up the next day and go “well I don’t HAVE to do this” “it wouldn’t hurt to postpone this” “this isn’t a big deal” because it literally is. Every promise broken is another nail in the coffin of your self-actualization. It’s another major roadblock to developing healthy self-love and self-respect. Weigh promises you’ve made to yourself the same way you would weigh promises you’ve made to others.

I honestly believe so as well, dearest Rosie đŸ„čđŸ«¶ I'm sure in a different lifetime we are probably living near each other~ you will be teaching me how to make desserts and pastries and we will be visiting bookshops during our free days 💞💞💐💐
We’d be mutuals in every lifetime

We should really not go along with the corporate lingo on these shifts to automation and AI. Always remember this: They don't want to pay people to do the work.
Companies aren't replacing cashiers with self-scan machines for the customer's convenience. They don't want to pay people to do the work.
Companies aren't using AI to produce a better product. The product produced by AI is notably inferior - they just don't want to pay people to do the work.
Corporate America is not hurting for money. It's not that they can't afford employees -- profits are soaring! They just don't want to pay people to do the work.
