Nalani Mahi'ai!!!

I love the detail in that she wears the same necklace in both of her forms, but the non-metal part of it changes color when she's in her mermaid form

This may be a hot take...

...but I don't believe Angela really did anything wrong ): Like I fully understand Lilith's resentment, I don't get the Angela-hate

they were both just children and they lived in a situation where attention was a resource that could run out, and in a situation like that, a child is going to take all the attention they can get, even if it means taking it from their sibling and that's on the parents for pitting their children against each other, like I'm struggling to understand why we are blaming Angela for that ;3;

Angela didn't choose to be favored by their parents, and as I see it, she wasn't the 'good' twin, she was the 'responsible' twin

Think about it, like Angela still had to learn so much in her childhood while Lilith didn't; what I'm hearing is due to the parents paying little to no attention to Lilith, it meant she had more freedom than Angela

Lilith got to dress how she wanted, date who she wanted, she got to buy expensive things for her room, she even snuck out and didn't get into trouble for it (note that Lilith has a memory of getting caught sneaking out, but not by her parents, but by Gordon King), while Angela has hardly any memories at all besides what she learned

I think people tend to forget that Lilith and Angela both grew up in the same house, with the same dysfunctional parents and they had to listen to the same fights, just because Angela turned her cheek and looked the other way with a smile, while Lilith would sit down and feel sorry for herself, doesn't mean either of them were better than the other

these are just two separate ways of coping with the same situation

I will say, I do adore that in the sims 4 they move out and go to university together, just the two of them, and they are finally realizing that they have common ground, finally bonding and taking baby-steps towards healing their relation

I can confirm that you just bond in a different way with your sibling when your parents aren't around, and it took moving out for them to realize that ;0;

Nicki Knack!!! So here's some sims-lore you probably never picked up on!

in the sims 4 country kitchen kit (that's right, even KITS in this game have lore!!!) there's a jar which has a description that mentions Nicki Knack and her relation to ... well ... knick-knacks!

this tells us about Nicki Knack, a young lady here but an old woman in the sims bustin' out (on GBA)

In TSBO, Nicki is seen working at a thrift shop and according to her wiki page, she has been working there for over thirty years at the start of the game, along with something said about 'keep[ing] the marble jokes to yourself'

Already we see that her parents seemed to have rules that they never explained as to why, but ones that had to be followed anyway, because they said so if you look at her wiki-page, then this is when we also learn that she may be related to the Knack family from the sims 3 in twinbrook

the family consists of the mother Pattina, the father Nick as well as their YA daughter Julienne

whether or not you wanna believe that Nicki is related to them, it may be worth noting that the Knack parents both are perfectionists (as the trait suggests)

the dad on the one hand, not only does he have the perfectionist trait, but he also very much is the opposite of scattered and absent-minded and messy if not for the fact that he's a surgeon, so he probably needs things to be stored 'in their place' where he can find them, but more so for the fact that he also for one has 4 skill-points in logic and for two has the ''can't stand art'-trait his traits tell us that he is a type-A, organized, tidy, and minimalistic, which not only conflicts with his name, but also with his otherwise artistic wife

the wife, on the other hand, is also mentioned in another object from another pack in the sims 4, the movie hangout stuff pack!

if Nicki really is related to the Knacks, then it could be that her love for trinkets and artistic findings came from Pattina's love for the same things. Who knows, maybe there are more Pattina Knack originals in Nicki's thrift shop?

today's my birthday so here's my gift for you all (even though I drew this a while ago but never posted it)! it's the crone Ghastia from the Sims Medieval!!!! -uwu- fun fact I didn't know initially what a crone was, and seeing her dark dress I thought she was just like a gothic queen but no turns out a crone is actually an old witch or an old ugly lady v0v I for one think she is beautiful though!

Temperance... ...can we talk about how the game does her dirty? >:( I personally think the game (and Guidry) paint Temperance in a negative light, as if she's the villain ... she's not evil, she's hurting it'd be one thing if she had feelings for Guidry but he picked her sister (Bonehilda) over her and she simply got jealous, but Temperance and Guidry were in a relationship with eachother and then he left her for her sister?? no honestly why is Guidry being such a man acting like he has no clue why she's so mad when he's the whole reason!

like she was betrayed both by him and by her own sister and he's just like "women, am I right?? 👨" "oh don't worry about her, she's just insane"

I for one think she's misunderstood :(<3

if you know, you know. and if you don't, let me explain: Once upon a time, in like 2010, in a land faraway called thesims3store, this doll became a horrific virus in the sims 3. Basically, someone created this custom doll and players who downloaded it to their game, soon came to notice that she caused several issues with the game. For one, she would slow down loading screens and for two she would crash the game. Just as any person finding this out, you'd want to get rid of it, correct? Well, too bad! Because once this doll entered a computer, there was literally no way to get rid of her. At all.

On top of all this, as if she wasn't already 99% haunted with the power to destroy, she also had the ability to crawl from one computer into another. So like, for instance, person A has this doll in their computer, person A uploads, say, a house, to the exchange store. Now, this house doesn't even have the doll in it. Now say person B downloads this house that person A uploaded, into their game. This doll, somehow, would stick to the package created by person A, which is then uploaded, and it would crawl its way into person B's game, still impossible to remove. I feel also that, had it not been a doll, and instead like, a chair or something, that obviously wouldn't have been as creepy, but it being a lifelike, life-sized doll makes it about 1000x scarier, because I think it's safe to say this thing had a soul.

I've been looking into the lore about Princess Cordelia a bit and it's so much! she has left traces in the basegame b/b, in windenburg, brindleton bay, henford-on-bagley, tartosa and now ... tomarang...

PCT has to be Princess Cordelia Thebe, but who is JWBB? cause like, none of her pirate lovers have JWBB as their initials, so who else could it be?

What if JWBB isn't a person..?

as for Isaac, dude, you have to be a special kind of misogynistic to make an object feel objectified

imagine litroly manufacturing a woman and programming her so that her only desire is to love you, and even she can't stand you

Roberta says it herself that like Isaac never wanted an actual robot, he wanted a woman to control, someone he'd have power over

he never loved her, he loved owning her.

I have mentioned Jacob a bit in a previous post, but I wanna talk about him more because he is just that precious

so let's go all the way back, to that night, when Jacob was first found by Kristopher...

...so, based on what we find out from the sims themselves..:

...I have a theory, could the 'helpless kid' perhaps have been Jacob? Could the werewolf have been Greg? It would make the most sense:

Lou and Celene were on a date and at first all was well, they were exploring Moonwood, but stopped at the bridge when the sound of a crying child came from the distance.

Jacob had been lost in the forest for a long time and had navigated his way to Moonwood, where he was encountered by a vampire and also a werewolf. The vampire might have been trying to hurt Jacob and maybe that's why Greg bit Jacob, to protect him.

When Greg realizes what he did, and hearing people (Kristopher) getting closer, he ran off and that's when he encountered Lou and Celene.

Maybe Jacob is right and Greg was scared, and/or maybe it could be that he was still in the mindset of protecting the child, but either way Greg violently attacked Lou and Celene...bad...
