Thinking about Jean— and Derek & Derrick and how Grayson would have had his arms ripped from their sockets before he got ahold of Jean. Thinking about Jean and Cody and how whoever the fuck knocked Jean out for papaya day would have woken up in spit and gravel because Cody would have knocked them senseless and kept the papaya for Jean to eat later. Thinking about any woman who spat at Jean and how Cat and Laila would have put how much they could bench to practice. Thinking about Rhemann looking at the Ravens for years and years and not thinking too much but one day having a reason to say this one is mine and you won’t ever hurt him again. Thinking about Jeremy who would give Jean a hand and for once it’s not to the infirmary or to someone’s room or to a locked cellar; it’s to the outside where Jean can soar and fly as high as wants because it’s his fucking right. Thinking about Mads and Tanner and Xavier and Pat and every other Trojan who would have fought tooth and nail for Jean because they knew from the start that he was one of them. I’m thinking about the Trojans and how protective they are of Jean and how sacred he was from the start; he just didn’t have the right gates to keep the pain and hurt away. But he does now.
