man knowing death grips had to end a show early because ppl in the the audience were throwing shit at them is fucking heartbreaking. unusual, challenging art isn't some freakshow for you to gawk at and meme on. it's not something people only make or enjoy ironically. it's not a joke. it's a legitimate and genuine form of expression, and it's absolutely key to counterculture, especially for marginalized peoples.

you don't have to like weird art. it can be messy and difficult and ugly, often deliberately. if that's not for you, that's okay. but show an ounce of respect. if you can't do that, moving along and minding your business is free and easy.
