Just found out and confirmed that BOTH Imagine Dragons AND OneRepublic performed at the Rock In Rio Festival, this is the first time I’ve seen them both listed as performers since BottleRock back in 2019.

Salty I had no idea until I saw their posts, and looked up the list of performers through Google.

Read on a Facebook reel that OneRepublic will no longer be with Interscope Records and I’m happy for them but also sad because I will no longer be able to make any jokes regarding the fact that Interscope Records “owns” both Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic

Just wanna point out “Entr’acte” means “an interval between two acts of a play or opera.”

That IMMEDIATELY made me think of Mercury (which is divided into Act I and Act II)

ID writing “In Your Corner” be like

“In Your Corner” was made specifically for me (jk) it’s like Imagine Dragons wrote a OneRepublic song. Like seriously the end with the orchestra? It gives me “Ships + Tides” as well as “Waking Up” vibes. (Which is ironic considering ID has a song called “Wake Up” on this album)

One of my favorite things about my comfort musicians is that they don’t have a genre. Not really. I mean yeah Taylor is mostly Pop. And Ive seen both Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic described as alternative rock/ pop rock. But to me, they don’t have a genre, it’s just their music.

Taylor Swift’s genre is Taylor Swift. Imagine Dragons’ genre is Imagine Dragons. OneRepublic’s genre is OneRepublic.

Or! ID doing a cover of a 1R song. “I Lived” would be my choice for that

You know, at this point I shouldn’t be surprised when Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic release something new in the same week. It’s almost a given now.

I can’t believe I have yet to do this (you’d think I would’ve already considered who I am) but I need to make myself an Imagine Dragons + OneRepublic playlist that would be my dream set-list if they ever went on tour together 🤡

Okay I know at this point I’m 🤡 but OneRepublic was in Vegas on March 1st and I’m 100% sure Imagine Dragons (who are from Vegas) should be releasing something soon™️. I don’t know what this means but I’m 👀🤡
