The struggle is REAL

When residents say they can list off everything going to happen at the floor meeting:

When residents come to me freaking out about the smallest problems:

When residents make up ridiculous scenarios at floor meetings:

When I hang out with friends after napping:

When another RA is baking study snacks for their residents at 4am

I'm a theater Major and a RA.

It's sad when I don't get cast because of my life as an RA but it's also a blessing to have more time to myself, and I secretly look forward to it.

Worst part about Halloween and being and RA:

You can't go to parties because underage residents are there drinking and you have to report it when you know about it and or see it.

To get a college apartment, or be an RA for another year, that is the question.

Some residents are the most stressful thing ever. I just had one leave, and now I feel stress free. It's beautiful.

Today was the day of creepy, normal and strange incident reports that I thought I would never write.

There's nights like tonight where I am able to help residents through really tough situations and it feels awesome, and makes me feel like I am doing my job well and that I need to continue on this path.

Just checked in about 80 residents in like 3 hours.
