I heard about this before I saw this post. If rich studio execs are to the point where they actually think human beings, writers, with true talent are literally expendable, they need a gigantic awakening. Now that the actors are also on strike, I hope the pain gets so great that both the WGA & SAG-AFTRA get every last thing for which they're fighting!! 🥊

I think if a studio exec says they want to force you to starve to death so you’ll be made to accept garbage wages, you should crush them in a hydraulic press incredibly slowly

Like the fact that rich people have gotten to the point where they think they can just be like “oh yeah I’m literally trying to kill you” without fear of repercussions is beyond infuriating. They need to know what it feels like to be beaten to death by hammers.

Saying you like to toy with your reader’s emotions would be putting it lightly. Your prose is powerful, strong, and so full of emotion it’s practically bursting with it. You break the hearts and souls of your readers on a regular basis. Oftentimes, the plot twist that breaks them will roll in out of nowhere, like a summer storm that has been building and finally burst. Your readers should have seen it all coming, but now it’s too late and they’re caught in the storm of your creation. Once the storm has cleared, they’ll be left in absolute wonder and shock at the journey they’ve been on. Despite it all, the heartbreak and sorrow, they’re moved beyond words and are often left speechless as they’re drained of their tears. Maybe consider leaving tissue boxes for your readers in the future, hm?
