Kaishin fic Prompt 1

Demon King Kaito, Hero Shinichi who is currently working happily in the castle, unaware that the Demon King was coming and he was going to take away the heirs of the kingdom to take as a bride, taking away Shinichi instead who was mistaken as a prince.

Shinichi is locked inside the Demon King's castle to be Kaito's bride, with the real prince still back in the kingdom and no one to save him as he's the hero. It didn't help that the Demon King was highly hateful of the Hero, unaware that it was Shinichi. Shinichi quietly pretended to be the prince of the kingdom, totally unprepared to take on a Demon king who's fully powered as Shinichi also doesn't even have his sword with him, having been taken away in the middle of reading and was knocked out immediately without a fight (in his defense, he was reading the Sign of Four). Though Shinichi was unaware that Kaito wasn't targeting the prince, he was initially targeting the princess at first but when he saw Shinichi first, he took him instead, mistakenly thinking that Shinichi is the prince as he'll just take away the prince as a bride instead as the prince (Shinichi) was very pretty and his type.

Shinichi as the Hero has a history with the Demon King, having foiled the Demon King's plan so many times that they naturally had an arch nemesis type of relationship but while Shinichi doesn't have any options on the Demon King other than defeating evil as a hero, no matter how that evil may come in the shape of from demons or from other humans, Shinichi just thought of it as his duty. Though he was certain it wasn't like that for the Demon King as he now looks at the Demon King who's in the middle of a rant regarding the Hero (Shinichi), having ranted how much he hated him. Shinichi quietly endured as he tried to act innocent and not as the Hero Kaito hates. Shinichi privately thought that he really needs to make a plan to run and escape after the Demon King leaves him alone as its clear that the Demon King mistakenly thinks he's the prince thus would take him as a bride.

Shinichi thinking escape plan after escape plan in his mind, snaps back into the conversation as the Demon King (Kaito) says

"Forgive me, little prince. I shouldn't burden you with my frustrations. Especially not on... our wedding eve."

Shinichi's breath hitched, sky blue eyes staring at the Demon King like he was crazy.

'Wedding eve? When? Already? When did we plan to get married???'

Shinichi glances at his ring finger, just checking if there's a ring there already if in some way he made some crazy decision while he was drunk. (There's none)

"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug it down like crazy Kudo-kun or lose the bet, you ####!!!" Sonoko, the princess, screamed expletives unworthy of a princess at Shinichi, acting like a common street rat. Showering her gold coins all around with the grace of a condenscending queen (Hah! Shinichi would run away from the kingdom the first he gets wind of Sonoko becoming queen, no way will he be staying for that. Hero or not.) as Shinichi chugged a mug of vodka, determined to prove her bratty ass wrong. Ran, Sonoko's guard, stared aghast at the two of them as Shinichi whooped, having finished the whole mug as he screamed at Sonoko, delighted to rub it all on her face. "Fu-"

Shinichi snapped himself out of his daze, his hand held by the Demon King who had slid the ring on it discreetly as he could possibly do. Shinichi stared at the ring then at Kaito, Demon King of Osirius, who happily smiled at Shinichi. Shinichi stared in silence at the happy Demon King, Kaito only clasped their hands together, squeezing it hard with a smile.

Sooooo (let's overshare) I have a jinx that whenever I get injured, I get lucky in the next thing that happens to me. So what do ya know, I tripped and fell and thought I just tripped (had to go back to class which is at the 5th floor by STAIRS) but now I think it's a sprain.

And look what I found in a local school supplies store when I was just browsing for a notebook:

For the people wondering, it's Re-MeNT DETECTIVE CONAN Cafe Time.

So of course, me who sees Detective Conan, goes to buy and splurge on the blind boxes on auto-pilot as I haven't found the time to go to Miniso. I didn't really have much of an expectation cause the tape looked skeptical (lmao but yeah it didn't look professional). And look what I got in my first box:

KAITO KIDDDDDDDDDDD HMMMM MEHH BOIII, I fan girled in front of that shop so hard.

I later went back in hopes for a Shinichi and only got 3 more boxes (There were only 4 boxes, I bought the 3 left and was thankful no one bought anything after i left the first time.)

The cashier laughed at me when I went back 3 times cause I bought only one box every time, in hopes for a Shinichi only to be disappointed when it wasn't him then immediately goes back inside to buy another box. YEAH I'M LAME LIKE THAT, SUE ME, IM A COLLEGE STUDENT ON AN ALLOWANCE.

Sadly, I didn't get Shinichi (though I did get Conan). Even the guy at baggage counter pitied me when I opened the last box in front of him as I claimed the other boxes. (I totally didn't feel like crying :) )
