What really bothers me the most is the lack of Rey's reaction when Ben dies and how the scene is cut off so quickly. I think, no, I KNOW that he wasn't supposed to die and it was a last minute change. He was supposed to pass out but for some reason the devils decided to kill the best character of the trilogy. What if there isn't a scene that shows us Rey mourning him because they didn't film one? Ben has almost no dialogue and that is so disrepectful to both Ben and Adam Driver as the amazing actor that he is. We have been absolutely robbed and I'm so mad about this. This was supposed to be a story about hope not something about punishment. So unfair

TROS Fix-It Ending

Welp, this movie truly broke me – I’ve gone and written a fanfic, y’all. Well, sorta. More like a lost alternate ending, written in screenplay format since, you know, it’s a movie, lol.

Anyway, I woke up with this in my head and needed to get it out. No time to work out any finer details and minutiae, so forgive any errors. It’s cheesy but I DON’T CARE. I just hope it makes someone feel better.

The whole purpose of bringing back, “I know what I have to do but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it”? Ben hesitates when killing his father, he hesitates when beating Rey in a duel. but the first time when he doesn’t hesitate is when he’s bringing Rey back to life knowing he will die in return. he knew what he had to do and he knew he had the strength to do it.

THEY LITERALLY MADE IT CANON THAT REY AND BEN SHARE THE SAME SOUL. THEY L I T E R A L L Y PUT IT INTO WORDS IN THE MOVIE THAT THEY SHARE ONE SOUL DIVIDED BY TWO BODIES. JJ ABRAMS SAT DOWN AND WROTE “REY PALPATINE AND BEN SOLO SHARE A SINGLE SOUL”

AND THEN THEY KILLED HIM. THEY LEFT REY WITH HALF A SOUL AND AN OPEN FORCE BOND THAT DOES NOT EVER HEAL OR GO AWAY. I’M SO MAD WHY DID THEY DO THIS TO HER
