My sister was playing Hogwarts Legacy and it got me thinking about what houses the Lost in Limbo LIs would be in. And since I don't think it's been asked nor answered by @ravenstargames, I decided to guess them myself.

(Sorta) Slow Dancing

A Lost in Limbo Fanfic — Gael/Reader

(First fic, so probably trash. I also didn't proofread. It's also 3am. Read at you own risk.)

It was late. You didn't know what time it was and you didn't care. You were supposed to be in bed by now. You both were. But you couldn't bring yourselves to move out of your current position. The soft sound of classical music rang through your ears as you swayed. His usually faint floral fragrance was now potent as you rested your cheek against his chest. It was like you took a bouquet of flowers, held them up to your nose and breathed it all in. Your mind wandered back to the events earlier that evening. After dinner at a restaurant far too fancy for someone like you, you had asked your love if he would teach you to waltz. You could still see the expression on his face: bright, with the prettiest shade of pink dusting his cheeks, and the softest of smiles on his lips. Your attempt to learn the dance was fruitless in the learning degree, but was extremely successful in the having fun degree. You'd stepped on his feet at least 5 times and you almost toppled over onto the floor when you accidentally tripped yourself. At some point, you gave up on attempting to waltz and ended up in your current position; with your arms around each other's waist as you swayed in circles. It was sorta like an awkward hug, but minus the awkwardness. You were quite comfortable like this. You can't remember the last time you looked up at your fiance boyfriend or even opened your eyes. You were too busy trying not to suffocate in the scent of lavender and leather. You heard a little sigh from above and decided to finally make an effort to tilt your neck upward and lift your eyelids. You open your eyes to be met with a purple pair looking back at you lovingly. His eyes widened as he realized he'd been caught and looked away, embarrassed, as his cheeks warmed up. There it was again, that pretty shade of pink. You smiled as your swaying slowly came to a still. "What?" You questioned, cocking an eyebrow. "Do I have something on my face?" You teased, as his face warmed more. He cleared his throat again and tried his hardest to maintain eye contact with you. He was doing horribly. "No..." He croaked. "Then why were you looking at me like that?" You pressed on, grinning as he became more and more flustered. "I-Um.. Y-You just looked so peaceful... I'm sorry if I've made you uncomfortable." "No, not at all. I'm not uncomfortable." You assured him. "Oh. Alright. That's good." He smiled. You love his smile. He turned his head towards the windows. "It's getting quite late. We should be heading to bed." He looked back at you. You pouted playfully. "Aw, but I was having fun." He stood there for a moment, just staring, but then he snapped out of his little daze. "I apologize, I just thought you'd be getting a bit tired, is all. We could stay a bit longer, if you'd like." He offered an awkward smile, like he didn't know what else to do. "Relax, I was just teasing. I am getting kinda tired anyway." His face softened a bit and so did his smile. "Alright then. Shall we go to bed?" He offered you his hand. "We shall." You smiled, taking his hand. God, you love that man.

————————————————————————————————————————————————— As stated at the beginning of the fic, this is my first one and it's also 3am and I'm very tired. I just made it up as I went, but I just needed to write something about this man. I also just realized I didn't put his name in the fic at all. Whoops. Whatever. I doubt anyone will see this fic, let alone read it, but your reading this, so that's something. This was mainly written for myself to calm my inner demons, but I put it on internet for other inner demons in need of calming. I didn't proofread the fic either, so it's probably way worse than I think it is. Anyway, I'm gonna stop ranting so that you can keep scrolling and I can go to sleep. Thanks for reading. Sorry it was so long.
