And if you're looking for some recommendations, I have to suggest a few! First is Hades because of its amazing characters and gameplay. Second is Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West for its characters and enemy design. And finally, Monster Hunter World/Iceborne for its phenomenal gameplay and monster design!

hahaha almost my entire art output was gen 5 for a while! It just has SUCH good characters to play around with, and the Pokemon designs themselves were banger after banger. Like I definitely need this break from Pokemon, but I have no doubt I'll make fanart for it again. <3

I've been meaning to play Hades and have come close to buying it a couple times, but the only thing stopping me is that it seems like one of those games I'd sink so much time into that I should wait for the right moment to get sucked into a new game that hard.

I don't know a lot about Horizon Zero, but it's always looked really cool! Same for MonHun! I actually own that one and played a tiny bit, but it seems a lot more fun with friends and I have it on an internet-less ps4. :'DDD

I can send asks! I've honestly been avoiding tumblr lately but boop day has made me remember why my younger self used to love tumblr.

But anyways what are your current fandom interests?

I think all of us are craving more interaction with each other when it comes to social media. It's so easy to get caught up in endlessly scrolling without interacting, but I try to make a conscious effort to break out of that and comment more. :'3 Makes me feel better even if I never get a reply, you know?

Scum Villain is my main fandom right now! The characters are just soooo much fun, I'm kind of insane about them. Cannot emphasize enough how much I love these weird little guys. I ADORE the fandom itself, as well. It's the most welcoming and enjoyable fandom I've been a part of in a long time tbh!!! <3 I like mxtx's other works too, but the fandom was a big part of svsss becoming the one I focused on the most.

Soulsborne is also something I'm absolutely in LOVE with--specifically Bloodborne and Elden Ring since those are the ones I've played but I wanna get into Dark Souls so bad when I have the chance. I'm obsessed with the monster designs and the lore, and Bloodborne instantly became my top fave game of all time the moment I finished it a few years ago. It's a truly incredible masterpiece.

Dungeon Meshi is the most recent thing I've gotten into. I finally had the chance to read the manga and finished it literally like two days ago! Still getting caught up on the anime. Really, really good read and I'm so glad it was just as weird as I was hoping it would be hahaha

Pokemon is still near and dear to my heart as well, but I've been taking a bit of a break from it since I'm a little burned out and wasn't really interested in playing ScarVi. Legends Arceus was easily my favorite pkmn game since Gen 5, though!

favorite pokemon? i personally love cyndaquil

Zorua and zoroark! I got especially attached to them as a result of writing/RPing N so much hahaha. His zoroark basically became my OCs, so exploring several of them as characters is what brought them to the top of my favorites in addition to them having 10/10 designs.

Cyndaquil is an excellent little guy, too! All of the Johto starters are top tier tbh. <3

i genuinely hope that boop day inspires everyone to interact more with other tumblr users. because it’s clearly way more fun this way!! even once the boop button is gone, there’s still asks, tag and ask games, comments, dms, fuck it let’s bring back blog rates i don’t care. part of the reason that tumblr is dying is that its way less social than it used to be. let’s fix that!!

Finally got a new tablet hooked up and ready to go, yayyyy! It took me two months to replace my broken cintiq and the new one's about half the size, but we're back in business baby!!!!

I dunno if I'm gonna be able to make a (bingqiu) dragon piece in time for Lunar New Year, but I'll try anyways even if it's late hahahaha
