fuck off im so sick of this anti-nesta narrative. and what’s wild is it isn’t even anti-nesta, its anti-anyone who can see even a little of themselves in nesta. if people identify with the character it means they’re self aware enough to know what they’ve done. they can identify and sympathize with a character without actively doing those things in their real life. please i beg, think critically for once instead of spewing the same bullshit every other tumblr post and tiktok says.

we’re human, we connect and we learn and we grow, life is far more nuanced than this take. if you can’t find any sympathy for people who identify with nesta (for reasons you don’t know), you’re far more egocentric and far less noble than you think you are.

feyre, elain, and the IC have all the room in the world for every mistake they could possibly make, but nesta can’t breathe without you all attacking her and anyone who finds her character mildly interesting or relatable. anti-nestas need to grow up and get over themselves truly. this take is so tired.

so many people like Nesta and stand up for Nesta because they have the same shitty personality as her and therefore need to feel validated. Your trauma does not excuse you to hurt other people...
