Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 20:
Tumblr media
"This isn't like you." She shudders in response to his claws grazing across her back.
"What isn't like me?" Sukuna pauses and leans in to rest each finger on her neck making sure to have a tight grip to strangle her at any wrong move. "I don't like the idea of you assuming who I am." With each word his voice draws closer to her ear.
Holding in a shiver she gulps and regains her courage to speak about her plan, "So, with the liquid nitrogen I plan to keep it in a container and then transfer it to an unstable—" A tightening grasp around her neck jolts her away from finishing.
"I'm sorry, please don't." She whimpers out, placing her hand on top of his. "I'd prefer you didn't...we've come so far from you killing me over and over." She sighs but it does nothing to release the tension building.
"Then explain it in a sentence. If I wanted a long-detailed explanation I would have said so." He loosened his hold on her but didn't remove his hand.
"I'm using my cursed technique to create traps before the enemy enacts their plan." She drags her fingertips across his and drops it to her side.
"I can't wait to watch the show you create." Sukuna grins and lets his fingers trace her collarbone but he stops himself and pulls his hand back.
"Then I hope you'll sit in my throne and enjoy." She pivots and takes a step away from him but he yanks her arm back.
"What you don't want me to join you in person?" A hint of anger lingers on his tongue from her words.
"Can't you give Itadori a break? These days he's barely had a chance to be in his body, he is still a kid after all."
"Why should I care about him? He's the one who brought me back in the first place. It was his own stupidity and selfishness that caused this mess." Sukuna shakes his head and laughs releasing her from his clutches.
"That's not...I just don't want you to get involved." She deadpans and drops her head down in defeat.
"I won't fight if that's what you're asking about." He says scoffing at her train of thought. "This is your fight after all. We may be allies but don't expect me to do everything for you." Sukuna gets behind her and whispers, "You aren't acting like your usual self, what changed?" He taps his nails against her neck searching for a pulse.
"Nothing much, just the workload..." She trails off and Sukuna pauses right over her carotid artery caressing the steady pulse.
"Bullshit, we fought and bantered. Now you..." Sukuna looks her up and down, "You give in so easily it appears you'll break at the slightest touch. Get your act together I don't work with weaklings." He is stern but tries to hide the inkling of worry behind his fury. "You wouldn't want me to get bored, would you?"
"Like you would get bored of me, you don't even know what my next move would be." She retorts.
"Oh, are you finally snapping back at me? Then get back to what you were working on."
"Then I can't wait to see the look on your face when I finish."
***
"How did you keep the elder's attention away from the grounds for so long Gojo?" The curse asks while securing the next batch of liquid nitrogen in place.
"I gave them a little distraction so to speak." Gojo beams as bright as the sun at her words.
"I'm curious to what you came up with but at the same time I don't want to know. Anyway, I hope Itadori has been reintroduced to his classmates."
"He has, I was there for the beginning but left soon after to help finish up with this." He rubs the back of his neck in slight embarrassment.
"There isn't much time left." The curse halts in her digging thinking about the next course of action. "I won't be interfering in this battle, as you know everything will be visible with video footage. But when things are thrown into chaos, I will take action." She leans against a tree crossing her arms.
"Maybe he'll change his plan, I mean isn't that what you hoped for?" Gojo asks.
"He wouldn't give up an opportunity like this easily. Instead, this will be a test. A test of strategy and will."
"I wonder if it's all just a game in the long run." Gojo sighs.
"If it truly is all just a game it is a game with everyone's lives on the line, if I can help mitigate the injuries if only a little then maybe we have a chance."
"We've done all we can, all that's left is to wait." Gojo begins to head back to Jujutsu High but stops when the curse doesn't follow. We did finish everything, right?"
"I'll be back there's something else I still need to take care of."
"What is it this time?"
"One of the students from the other school, I'll be right back."
"Don't." Gojo prevents her from leaving.
"Why? It's going to cause problems if I don't take care of this now."
"How many times?"
"What?"
"How many times?" Gojo repeats himself.
"That isn't important."
"I disagree. Answer me."
"No, this is something I won't give on just drop it."
"Then what did you intend to do to that student?"
"Oh, don't give me your morality nonsense, he's a traitor anyway."
"What? You already found out who it is?" Gojo stands jaw dropped unable to form another thought.
"I'll be heading out for a while; I recommend you check up on the rest of the students. Because the two schools won't be getting along. If I were you, I'd try to convince them not to kill Itadori and focus on the common enemy." She pushes herself off the tree and disappears into a mist before Gojo can get another word in.
"I guess I'll be on my own then." Gojo shakes his head and makes his way back to the battlefield.
The trees swayed from the strong winds that day, similar to another unfortunate day that was already forgotten. Gojo paused and took in his surroundings.
One deep breath in.
And one deep breath out.
He clapped his hands together and put on his cheery smile like always. Remembering himself, he pinched his cheek.
"I wonder if I'm really smiling anymore." Adjusting his blindfold, he focused on each of his senses to return his attention to his objective. "Ah, I'm probably missing the look on Fushiguro's and Kugisaki's faces from Itadori coming back." Gojo quickens his pace not able to contain his excitement.
When Gojo arrived, the students were all chatting with each other so he decided to make his way to where all the other instructors were. It was no surprise to how everyone was acting, especially because there were two wildcards around.
"Where is the curse you were talking about Gojo?" a woman with a large scar across her face and long violet-black hair asks.
"She left somewhere again. Said she was busy with finding the traitor." Gojo strode over to her and leaned his arm against the top of her chair.
The woman flushed a bright red and tilted her head to face Gojo, "Do you intend to let her roam about?! There have been incidents all over the city, we should exorcise her. Itadori's already a handful." The woman sighs folding her hands in her lap, shifting her hakama pants in an effort to be more comfortable.
"On the contrary I think things are finally getting interesting with a few new faces around." Another woman with braided light blue hair covering half her face added in.
"One is one too many." Cutting through everyone's banter Gakuganji voiced his opinion. He stroked his beard and gently rested his hand back on his cane afterward.
Gojo brought his interest to all the cameras which showed the environment of the match. Then he thought back to where all the traps are.
They're all in the blind spots.
Holding a hand over his mouth Gojo bent down slightly while a silent chuckle made his body appear as if it were trembling. He nodded to himself almost unable to hold in his laughter.
"Is something the matter Gojo?" The woman with the scar across her face asked skeptical of his feelings.
"No, no. It's nothing, Utahime." Gojo straightened his posture and regained his composure. "I was just thinking this is going to be really—"
"Fun?" The woman with light blue braided hair cut in.
"Yeah. It will be the festival of a lifetime." Gojo couldn't help the ear-to-ear smile stretching his lips.
"I hope for your sake Gojo there isn't anything funny going on."Gakuganji words ripped all the joy out of the conversation.
Says the same person who wants to use the competition as an excuse to kill Itadori.
After the rules are explained for the exchange festival the teams prepare with their plans of attack. It was the start of a new battle.
***
Water runs along the ceramic tub's edge until it drips along the side dropping to the floor with a plink. The smell of mold permeates the dark musty cave enough to make someone gag. A man wrapped in bandages sits in the bathtub connected to hundreds of wires. His black hair peeks out of the bandages and he commands his robotic counterpart to do his bidding.
The sound of light feathery footfalls echoes through the cavern. To which the man halts his next command to listen to his surroundings.
"Who's there?" He asks the figure whose appearance is blocked in shadow.
"First, let me say I don't wish you harm." The figure stops only a few footsteps away from the tub.
"I don't believe you. Aren't you here to kill me because I'm the traitor?" The man glares at the figure trying to find anything to discern their identity.
"Perhaps you'll listen to me if I..." The person trails off and moves their arm to create an icicle to reflect light around the room to chase away the darkness.
The man grips the tub with a vice grip at the sudden appearance of ice in the room. His attention is drawn from the origin of the light to the person whose figure was blocked in shadow is completely visible.
A girl with horns sticking out of her head makes eye contact with him. "I just came to give you a piece of advice." She flicks her eyes to the tub full of red liquid and back to his face.
"Can't you see I'm in the middle of the competition?" The man barks not keen on listening to her.
"Don't give me that bullshit it hasn't started yet." Her voice deepens to a growl at his tone.
"Then what did you want to tell me? You haven't killed me and it doesn't look like you intend on ratting me out, so what is it?" The man loosens his grip slightly on the tub giving in to the idea he is at this stranger's mercy.
"Kokichi. Don't fight Mahito, that's all I ask of you." Her voice doesn't come out as neutral as she'd hoped instead it finished off shaky.
"I won't ask how you know my name. And I don't know how you found out about my plan but I'm certain I'll be able to win."
"Well, I know you won't win and, in the end, you'll never meet your classmates that you've yearned to stand by your entire life." The curse walks over to the tub and makes a stool of ice to sit next to him.
“How can you be so sure?” He doesn’t bother to face her in his injured state.
“If I said my cursed technique allows me to see the future, would you believe me?” The curse pulls her legs to her chest and rests her head on her knees.
“Then what did you see?” For a moment he considers the possibility.
“Where would you like me to start?” She blinks at him and then closes her eyes to focus.
“From the beginning to the end of our fight.” Kokichi shifts in the bathtub and the water churns creating a mini whirlpool until he ceases in any other large movements.
The curse goes on to explain the battle with every little detail pointed out. To how much each attack cost him and what damage it did. Then to how Mahito responded and in the end how he was so close to winning but lost. Kokichi asked a few questions along the way and the curse obliged in answering although there were a few things that she admitted she didn’t know. Mainly how much she knew before and after the battle.
“I need to think things over, I mean the exchange festival is going to start soon.”
“Then think about the life you could have with Kasumi.” The curse got up from the stool and turned it into a wave of mist with a flick of her wrist.
“How did you know?” Kokichi stutters at the curse’s mention of Kasumi which causes the liquid in the tub to splash about.
“Your last words to your lover are quite sad.” The curse faces away from him as if searching the exit of the cave for something that will never appear.
“How did you know?!” Kokichi repeats with urgency which has an undertone of frustration attached.
“I hope you don’t let your story become a tragedy this time Kokichi. Or if you can’t manage that, just don’t let her cry again. ” The curse strolls out of the cave with one of her hands in her pocket.
Kokichi doesn’t say another word and watches as the curse is wrapped in the bright light. He surveys the environment and sees the icicle she created still remains. Panic shoots through him at the thought of the other curses, finding out about someone else being there but a snap disturbs his thoughts. And with that the icicle vanishes into mist as if it never existed.
“Just what have I gotten myself into.” Kokichi curses himself over and over unsure of what to think anymore. But before he can organize the events that happened his classmates contact him through Mechamaru.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 19:
Tumblr media
"Are the containers all set over there?" The curse asks Gojo who is crouching down, hyper focused on the mechanism of the contraption.
"How do you know this will work?" Gojo lifts his gaze and turns his head toward her.
"I don't know if the mechanism will work properly. But! I do know science won't fail me." She splays her fingers against her chest and tilts her nose up in confidence.
Gojo shakes his head all the while his lip curves upward. "Then what about the spikes? Won't it take too long to make so many of them for each trap?"
The curse jumps up from the giant hole she made and stares down at him from above. "Has my digging not proved that we can make it in time?"
"How did you learn how to dig that fast anyway?" Gojo pushes himself up and wipes off any dirt from his pants.
"Well, let's just say I'm fond of building sand fortresses." She turns her back to the hole and inspects her work from every angle. Making sure to go back and forth to each hole not checked yet.
"Don't you mean sand castles?" Gojo says while somehow rock-climbing out of the abomination of a pit trap they have both created.
"No, I mean fortresses. With one tiny shovel I made moats to survive hours from the torment of waves within the hour." Her eyes narrowed and she peered up at the moon basking in the nostalgia of the beachy memory. A silent 'heh' came out at her glory only she knew of.
Gojo waited for her to say more but that was all there was the memory. It was a fleeting moment. "Then are you fond of beaches?"
A long silence dwelled between the two before she took a breath to respond. "This isn't the time to be dwelling on the past. We don't have much time left until the festival. Do you know how Itadori's training has been coming along?"
"There hasn't been much progress he has only been dealing with missions suited to his skill level." Gojo combed his fingers through his hair which sprang back up into place as usual.
"I'd like to keep it that way...But we both know that isn't possible. At least with the knowledge I have I want to help lift some of that burden if only a little." The curse finds herself caught off guard by how tightly she is holding onto her clothes. She releases her vice-grip and mechanically repeats the motion of closing her hand into a fist and opening it back up again.
"One plan at a time. We may not have all the answers now. So, let's focus on making these traps the highest quality." Gojo wraps his arm around her shoulder pulling her in for a side hug.
Y/n freezes up from the action and out of reflex dips out of his hold in a spin pivot. "Too close." She mutters to herself.
"At least you'll be able to react in time during battle." Gojo gives a wide grin.
"I don't intend on getting friendly with you so put the idea out of your head." She says pointing to the next trap location on the map Gojo drew. "We have to make sure all of these are camouflaged well into the environment. Or enough that when in a rush it can't be avoided."
"I'm on it then." Gojo strolled off to collect the materials with a skip in his step.
"He must be planning on slacking off or doing something else." The curse rubbed her forehead trying to make sense of this whole situation. Her heartbeat was suffocating her when she was reminded there was less than a week left until the festival.
***
“How long do you plan on ignoring me for?” Sukuna asked again for the umpteenth time. His eye twitched from the lack of response.
“I’m so bored.” He sighed and leaned against his throne staring at the gaping hole connecting their domains. He imagined if he stared long enough, she might materialize out of thin air from his willpower alone. But of course, nothing happened.
“She uses me to get stronger and then leaves. Just when I was starting to…” He stopped himself and got angrier at the thought. “I really want to wring someone neck out.” His expression darkened and he had an itch to kill. The tension from the anger only made it worse as there was nothing to take out his rage on.
Then a good idea popped into his head, “Perfect.” He said laughing to himself with a mischievous smile. “How could I not realize such a good idea sooner.” He praised himself for the idea and made his way to her domain.
“Should I do some damage then?” His face made the simplest expression of the darkest happiness. Sukuna was ready with cursed energy in hand and aimed to melt the crystalline cavern when she appeared.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“Ah, do you think you can speak to me that way?” Sukuna launched an arrow made of cursed energy at the icicles thinking of it as target practice. The arrow was met with a wave of liquid nitrogen which soaked Sukuna in the process.
“How about you cool off?” Y/n said beaming all the while light bounced off her to make her appear almost ethereal.
“Don’t tell me what to do.” Sukuna ran a hand through his frosted hair which was tamer than usual. He slicked it back moving the strands out of his line of sight. Some of the smaller strands were frozen in place making it stick up in certain places. When he finally brought his attention back to her, he realized she didn’t take her eyes off of him. “What?”
“Nothing, you just look different.” She said rubbing the back of her neck. Leaning away from him she covered her mouth and talked to herself in a hushed tone, “Elegant.”
“If you’re going to say something, say it…To. My. Face.” With each punctuated word he stepped closer to her without a second thought.
It wasn’t anything bad if that’s what you’re thinking.” She stayed facing away from him as he was no more than a footstep away from her.
“What are you planning?” Sukuna leaned up to her face to survey her facial expressions.
Her eyes flitted to his for not even a second and time itself froze.
“I’m making traps…” She dared not to finish when he was this close in proximity. She gulped from the distance trying not to remember the times when he killed her up close. Wavering in her confidence she shut her eyes and let her mind wander. Yet it made the situation worse when she heard his voice up close.
“What kind of traps?”
She cracked one of her eyes open to see Sukuna curious about what she was going to say next. Regaining her resolve she forced her mouth to form words, “Liquid nitrogen bombs with wooden spikes at the bottom of a pit.”
“Tell me more. Why are you making them now? For what purpose…” He took a step back and decided to circle around behind her.
She let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding. In spite of that she almost stopped breathing when Sukuna dragged a finger down her spine.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 18:
Tumblr media
“I don’t intend on speaking on this matter any further.” She said sighing and fiddling with her hair. In an attempt to hide the tears forming the corners of her eyes she wiped them away as quickly as they appeared. “I told you what you wanted to know, there is no need to elaborate.”
“You’re telling me you have no intent on telling me more about a curse who has the potential to threaten humanity?” Gojo stopped walking and turned to face her.
“Tell me then, what are you going to do when you find him?” She crosses her arms and scoffs. “He is an excellent strategist whose plans stretch over decades. I assume you’re not going to face him head on. You may threaten his plans but all it takes is for him to capture you and its game over.”
She flicks her hand in annoyance, “Or do you intend to train Itadori and somehow by some miracle be able to use him to end this battle. You aren’t looking at the bigger picture, Itadori is just a pawn in this. Not to mention the other exorcist students are going to brought into this mess.”
“Just how many people are going to get thrown into this battle?” Gojo said.
“Think of the entire exorcist's community all over Japan. It will be all exorcists’ hands on deck which we both know isn’t possible. And the icing on the cake is that exorcists will be fighting exorcists while you’ll be locked in a prison going mad. That’s why I need to do this on my own. I need to find a way to save this world without your help.” She pokes her finger against his chest and takes a step closer glaring.
“Then tell me exactly what happens from now on so we can prevent the rest from happening. Help me, help you.”
The curse smooths out her furrowed brow, “Then…the exchange festival will be where the first attack takes place. But by now he has already changed his plan since he considers me an extra variable or he knows it will go well no matter what I do and will keep it the same.” She bites her fingernail agitated by the idea of the plan. She whips her head to Gojo and continues, “But the most important date is October 31st.”
“Does the attack happen near the end of the exchange festival?” Gojo persists.
“Well, there’s something you need to know before that. The elders plan to use the festival as a cover up to kill Itadori but of course it won’t work. So Gojo tell me what do you plan to do with all of this info? I mean the exorcists might not even be inclined to help you.”
“I have a few connections of my own.” He smiles at her, “I won’t let some curse take me down so easily.”
“Then I have an idea I’d like to share.” A wicked smile played on her lips.
Gojo remained silent and urged her to keep strolling as they talked more.
“I plan to use Sukuna’s help in this matter. I mean he’ll kill anyone who challenges his authority. After all he’ll be stronger soon.”
Gojo chuckled and spoke, “How do plan on having him help? I imagine he won’t take kindly to you ordering him around.”
“To him he sees this as entertainment, as long as the play continues, he won’t have any problems. Of course, if someone outside this tries to stop this, they may find themselves dead. To me this is something I’d risk my life for. I don’t mind if this becomes my purpose.”
“I see you’re quite devoted to the task.
“Then lead the way.” He gestures to her to go ahead of him.
It doesn’t take long to reach Jujutsu High and the curse leads Gojo into the forest to the exact spots where the enemies will appear. Next, she guides him to where the main faceoffs with the enemy take place as well as areas near buildings that will receive damage.
“I’d like to try my hand at making some cursed energy traps.” Her eyes smile at Gojo.
“What about the students, won’t this interfere with the festival? Also, wouldn’t it be better if I just intervene?”
“You won’t be able to. I told you Kenjaku planned this out down to every last detail and he’ll be expecting me to do something. He might’ve already started to prepare precautionary measures since my fight with Jogo.”
“Who is Jogo?”
“The volcano head.” She said pursing her lips, “I forgot you didn’t know his name, not that it matters anymore.” She cast her eyes downward trying to suppress the memory of her being drunk and fighting him. “Anyway…back to the traps, I wanted to use my liquid nitrogen in order to-”
“I see you developed more abilities while I wasn’t looking.”
“Ah, the liquid nitrogen…” She trailed off watching her hand frost over whilst liquid nitrogen sat in the palm of her hand.
“Is that what killed her then?” Gojo mumbled to himself.
“Did you say something Gojo?” She said letting the liquid nitrogen slip through her fingertips freezing the grass below.
“No, just thinking aloud is all.”
“I had the idea of making ground traps with spikes but I thought this wouldn’t be enough. I was going to have a sealed container liquid nitrogen transferred to one that isn’t meant to hold it properly by a pressure trigger. And around it will be metal shrapnel, I’m guessing you would know what happens next.” She tilts her head and mutters to herself about the logistics of the trap and Gojo’s voice interrupts her train of thought.
“That is a good idea for a trap but if the enemy is wary how can we make it so they hit the target.”
“Good question, the enemy won’t be able to notice if they are in the middle of battle. Even if they do know by the time it takes to react, they will be caught in a chain reaction of explosion that is inescapable. For good measure we should made dud ones and other types.”
“Is there anything I can do for the traps? It sounds like you’ll be doing all the work.” Gojo scratched his head wondering what to do.
“I’m not sure who else we can bring into this without our plan being ruined.” She leaned against a tree and rested her palm against her cheek.
“Then I’ll draw a quick map of the area, make sure to mark all the spots you want to put traps.”
“Let’s get to it then.” With a glint in her eye, she had the determination for war. Not a simple skirmish.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 17:
Tumblr media
Stirring awake Sukuna opened his eyes to see her lying on his chest.
For once she's finally quiet.
Only one word could come to mind when he looked at her attempting to nuzzle closer to his chest.
Cute.
He stiffened at his thought wondering where such ideas could stem from. Him of all people, thinking so human. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and shoved her off, not wanting to think any more about this matter.
"Waah?!" Y/n was abruptly woken up by the movement and felt the cold crimson water take the warmth away she had.
"You were so quiet, don't ruin my mood." Sukuna said failing to stop a yawn.
"Were you sleeping?" She squinted her eyes at him in disbelief.
He paused, reading her expression. "Curses don't need sleep. Yet you did." He huffed out a sigh. "You didn't leave." He glared at her as he sat down on his throne.
"Why didn't you just kill me like you always do then?" She said disconcerted. Sweat rolled down her cheek as a long silence drew on for far too long.
"Don't you want to know what you accomplished while in your manic like state?" He smiled but it was the kind that makes one realizes that they are fucked no matter what they do.
"Well yes, I remember not being able to do my domain expansion. I was like I was ice itself." She said filling in the words so he didn't have to.
"You did well."
Her jaw dropped and she raised her hand to cover her mouth.
"No need to be so shocked, I pushed you to your limit and broke it. What did you think was going to happen?" He tapped his finger on the arm of his throne and continued, "Don't answer that. But this isn't enough to fight that curse...Kenjaku was it? Have I heard that name before?" Sukuna brought his thumb and pointer finger to his chin pondering.
"He is who I'm fighting against." Y/n leaned away from Sukuna and studied the ripples of water as if something was going to pop out to end the conversation.
"Oh, so you're finally telling me why you suddenly decided to switch the target of your rage?" Sukuna got up from his throne and rushed over to her.
"I realized that he was my true enemy." She clenched and unclenched her fists.
"Ah, I don't know if I really want to help you, I think I'd rather watch." He rolled his eyes.
"I didn't expect much from you. I guess you wouldn't mind having no humans left to kill because of him."
Sukuna perked up at her words and urged her to finish. "Haa? That would be such a boring world. What else does he plan?"
"To replace all humans with curses."
Sukuna couldn't hold back his laughter and it took a while for him to get a hold of himself, "What a joke!" His face deadpanned, "Did he even think how boring the world would be if humans didn't exist?"
Y/n pursed her lips, "I don't think so. I mean even though curses have their...qualities, it was human culture that shaped and created them. Would curses even be able to exist without humans?" She said going off topic.
Sukuna remained silent at this line of questioning. "Your blabbering is irritating me again."
"Then I'll take my leave, my king." She curtsied and did a half-twirl to position herself toward the entrance of her domain. As she ambled until she disappeared out of view into the crack in the wall Sukuna made.
My king? Since when did she address me as such?
Sukuna couldn't help a smirk cross his lips.
***
Y/n jolted upward almost headbutting Gojo if not for his infinity. She took a gasp of air and became acutely aware of her surroundings in Gojo arms that is.
"Good morning, I thought you were never going to wake up." Gojo gave a radiant smile almost enough to blind someone.
She turned her head away from him and inhaled, "Don't you have something you want to ask me?" She dared a peek at his face and found that he was still smiling. Something was wrong, very wrong.
There were an endless number of questions he wanted to ask her. But where should he start? Gojo sauntered along the streets going over the question in his head.
"Since you don't know what to ask how about you put me down first?"
Gojo paused his rhythm and gently let her feet hit the ground before letting go.
"Do you want to know if she is dead or not?" Soulless eyes bored into Gojo's blindfold.
He gulped and pinched his lips together, "I do."
"I thought she gave you the answer to that already? I mean..." She tilted her down as if resetting herself and looking back up at him. "Hey Gojo, look I'm okay!" Her eyes crinkled at the ends like a crescent moon and she beamed at him.
"Y/n?" He reached out a hand to her.
"That's what you wanted to see right?" Her expression became neutral as she squished her cheeks and made the happy moment disintegrate.
"Don't mimic her like that. She was right, I should kill you." Gojo built his barrier back up.
"But you won't. Cause' you want answers, right?" She mocked sticking her tongue out.
“Then tell me, what is going to happen to me.” Gojo stated.
“For three years…”
Gojo gave her a questioning look, raising an eyebrow.
“You’ve been trapped in a box.” She said shuddering from her words.
“I don’t understand, how?”
She raised her hand telling him to stop. “The Prison Realm, a special grade cursed object that can seal anything or anyone in a pocket dimension.” Her breath became ragged at the thought. “Ah, I really don’t want to remember…I wouldn’t be surprised if you went insane from being in there all alone.”
“How does it work then? Avoiding it isn’t as easy as it seems.”
She frowned, “It doesn’t matter, this is another one of his plans I don’t know how to thwart.”
“If you tell me maybe we can figure it out. There’s no use trying to do everything on your own. I know you want to help; two heads are better than one.” He gave a grin.
“Fine, it’s not like a haven’t messed with the present already. The one in charge of this scheme has not shown his face because he wants to shock you. To fulfill the first condition, you need to experience one minute of time within your brain.” She said pointing her finger to her head.
“Who?”
“Shh.” She put a finger to her lips. “There’s more, the second condition is that you need to be kept within a four-meter radius of the cube.”
“Is the enemy someone I know?”
“Yes and no.” She sighed deeply. “You know this is tiring explaining all this, I really don’t have hope to save you—.”
“Listen, I’ll be the one to determine whether there can be something done about this or not. I can still try to change the future.”
The curse had a flash of worry on her face that was replaced with her normal neutral expression it was as if it was never there. “Geto.” She knew there was nothing more to say.
A flash of memories appeared in Gojo’s head. “He’s dead, that isn’t possible.” Gojo covered his mouth with his hand. “Why would he…”
“It isn’t him. A curse took over his corpse who has gained a multitude of cursed techniques from different sorcerer’s bodies he has taken over. Sukuna is only the tip of the iceberg. Kenjaku is the biggest threat to humanity right now.”
“Then is Kenjaku the one who took over Geto’s body?”
“I’m glad you were able to figure that out. But like I said earlier, even though I told you what difference that is going to make? You can’t tell me the memories you have with him won’t run through your head if you see him.” She rubbed her temple hoping she wouldn’t get a headache from all this talking. Tears were forming in the corners of her eyes and she kept blinking to make them disappear. “Fuck.”
“Now that my future is out of the way. How about you tell me more about this Kenjaku?” Gojo shoved his hands in his pockets and nudged his head to motion her to keep walking and talking.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 16:
Tumblr media
Oh shit.
Sweat rolled down her cheek as she realized how screwed she was. There was no way she would be able survive. Letting out a strained laugh she released a tsunami of cursed energy which was as vibrant as a tropical ocean.
I'm going to be chopped into pieces.
Dread consumed her entire body as she remembered her life before she came into this world. She remembered how she was a spec in the droves of people. She remembered how she followed along the go-to equation of society. She remembered how it was killing her inside. And now death was facing her.
You won't die here, it's just training.
But it didn't feel that way. It was as if she was back to her old self; a trembling rabbit realizing there was nowhere else to run.
She was weak.
Nothing had changed from past to present. It was all an act; she was putting on a confident character of herself. She thought she was numb, desensitized to a true battle. But fear struck her straight through the heart.
And she hated it.
She hated everything with her entire soul. Forcefully she changed the plot, making it play to her whims. But she knew nothing. These were no longer characters in a story but people or curses so to speak.
A flame sparked in her, the purest form of those raging whirlwind of emotions she suppressed for so long. It wasn't Sukuna's attack that was going to tear her apart but her overwhelming emotions. She choked on her own breath and her hands became like that of an ice sculpture.
She couldn't tell whether it was his attack or her own that was causing her such agony. Lines stretched from head to toe on her body in multiple sections. The clean cuts began to seep with blood but not before they separated abruptly from her once whole body.
A snicker played on Sukuna's lips, "I thought you would use your domain expansion. But it appears my power could not help you do something so simple." Strolling over to her corpse he kicked one of her iced hands. He crouched down next to her sliced up form with a wide grin.
A strange mist emanated from her frozen and frost-covered body. Raising an eyebrow Sukuna lit her body on fire which in turn did not make the mist disappear but made more mist generate. Wary Sukuna got up and his attention was on the place where their domain's connected. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and saw an abundance of the mist was filtering out into his domain.
That's when a kick came from right in front of him. "Are you trying to sneak attack me? How foolish."
Each attack after that came from every direction and he had no problem blocking all of them. That was until the water level rose. Sukuna watched as the liquid came slowly at first until it was ripping current as vicious as a stormy sea. The liquid froze everything it touched and Sukuna had to keep breaking out of it until it was practically at his height. Swimming in the liquid was near impossible as he had to keep regenerating over and over from his limbs blistering and freezing from the cold temperatures.
Hands grabbed at his feet from below and he was dragged under the ever-rising waves in the misty environment. Looking down he saw his enemy staring at him.
She was ice itself and the only part of her he saw was the identical markings on her face and those red eyes.
Sukuna cut off her hands and her scream was muffled by the ocean of liquid nitrogen. Though it didn't matter as they regenerated from the endless amounts of liquid before he could blink. He surfaced and found no edge to the ocean that surrounded him.
Around him a whirlpool formed dragging him down to the depths again. This time she had him in a chokehold and the liquid seared his lungs.
He mouthed the words "Enough." but she did not move. This time he called out to her, "Hey, I told you were stopping here."
She did not budge at his words, instead she held him down tighter, cutting off the circulation to his feet. It was as if she wasn't there but in her own head.
He frowned as his skin constantly bubbled from the regeneration. In an attempt to help her come back to her senses he cut and cut and cut. But it did not do anything, there was too much liquid nitrogen for his attacks to do anything.
Her body split like water when his attacks hit and she just melded back together again.
"It worked earlier why not now?" He wondered. As time went on the currents tore at his flesh she did not relent. Reaching down to his feet he grabbed at her hands and crushed them under his grasp. "Finally."
The curse became confused when nothing was in her hands. She was fraught with panic and when she caught sight of Sukuna, she lunged toward him to hold him down again.
He avoided her easily getting a hold of his new environment.
She chased after trying to constantly nab him.
But he seized her wrists in his hands.
With her caught she flailed with everything she had to escape his hold.
Using his cursed energy, he exuded a raging flame making the liquid nitrogen evaporate. Although for the ocean of liquid nitrogen this did nothing but she began to revert back to her ice form. The tide reeled back with a fierce rip current, draining back into her domain.
Sukuna was laying on his back still holding onto her wrists which appeared more like ice than a colorless liquid now.
She lifted up her head and her eyes were glazed over when she met his gaze. She tried to claw at him but he held her wrists firmly.
“Are you done yet?” He waited for her to respond but she did not speak. The only thing that did come out of her mouth was incoherent sounds like a wild animal.
Tears streamed from her eyes which ended up freezing when they fell to the ground.
“Is there no getting through to you? Do you intend to keep acting like a child?” Sukuna said. “I’d prefer if you’d come back to your rational self. It’s much more entertaining.”
He sighed irked that after all that she just kept weeping. But he could also sense frustration coming from her garbled speech. Sukuna drew her closer and placed his hand on the back of her head letting her rest in the crook of his neck.
“I hope you don’t remember this. Cause I won’t be doing it again.” He deeply inhaled letting her sniffles be the one sound that echoed in his domain.
“You know, I really want to kill you but I’m just too tired.” He let his fingers brush through her icy hair and closed his eyes with a yawn.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 15:
Tumblr media
Cough, Cough
"Why do the blanks...have to filled when..." She wheezes unsure whether taking a deep breath is a good idea. She stares at her hands and with her next breath blood stains her hands.
"Is it even...healing?" Her legs wobble with every step but there is no wall for rest so she lets her legs give. And in return she suppresses a scream. It was a bad decision.
"Does she want me dead, that badly?" A flurry of coughs stop her from voicing her next thought.
She can hear footsteps approaching her but she doesn't have the energy to get up.
"Y/n, what happened?" A panicked Gojo sat her up on the ground, eyes flitting over her.
"You're freezing." He takes his eyes off of her to survey his surroundings and finds the volcanic curse who was consumed by ice with his head was broken off.
"I was called over because of there were reports of the curse I fought; I didn't expect you to be here." His frantic words spilled out.
"Gojo...You have to—" Incoherent words came from her lips and shallow breaths shook her frail form.
"We need to get you back to Jujutsu High. But I don't think you'll make it there." Gojo grasped her frigid hands of which her fingers could not even bend properly.
"Kill her." Her cracked lips worded.
"Don't you want to live?" Gojo said trying to keep calm.
"You don't understand she..." She paused waiting to regain enough air to continue. "She is losing herself. No, she lost her humanity long ago." Another fit of coughs took her words away.
"I can still save you." Gojo attempted to lift her up but he could hear her breath waver.
"But you can't save yourself." She gave a pained smile. "You have no idea of the storm that is coming."
Gojo waited for her to elaborate but knew she couldn't. "The hot springs, it'll buy you some time." He lifted her and bolted across the frozen grassy landscape that had waves of fog coming off it. When he arrived at the Inn which was dilapidated from the fire damage, he made his way into the hot spring area. Steam wafted from the springs and Gojo slowly lowered her in. "Wouldn't want you to go into shock." He gave a cheeky grin.
She laughed but it turned into a gasp for air. "I'm sure you saw...the effects of the liquid nitrogen."
"So it was, then did she...?"
"Yes."
There was no need to clarify and Gojo sighed. “It hasn’t been that long yet how did she get so strong in such a short period?” He spoke trying to discern the cause.
“Sukuna.” She looked up at him shivering and teeth chattering.
“What does he have to do with her?” Gojo asked and patiently waited for her next words.
“He’s an amplifier.” She reached out but stopped when her hands wouldn’t do as she wished. “Please, I don’t want your fate to be the same.”
“You know the future?” Gojo froze in place from her words. “Everything makes sense now, her rushing to go to certain places. It’s all connected.”
A smirk dawned on her lips and tears fell from her eyes. “Memory comes at the worst times.” A violent cough rattled her and blood stained the clear water.
“Then, what does she intend to do?”
“To save all that was lost.” She points at Gojo unable to fully unbend her finger and pokes his chest. “Including you.”
“Then why do you wish to stop her?” Gojo rested his head in his hand.
She trembles her words coming out garbled so she repeats louder, “At any cost.”
“But will killing her really solve the problem?”
“No, but it’ll prevent something far worse.” She coughed wincing from the pain in both body and mind.
“What?”
“Love. A twisted, dark, and disgusting love.” She dipped herself deeper into the springs as if to cleanse herself. “One that would shake the foundations of this world.”
“But you’re still here so…” Gojo’s face contorted into something of confusion and worry. “Isn’t there something you can do?”
“Heh…I was just dragged along for the ride. I wasn’t supposed to exist.” She brought a hand to cover her hacking.
“Then what will happen to you when you die?” Gojo didn’t know what to do and his knuckles were white from the tension he didn’t know he had.
“We are the same. I am just another part. Hopefully you’ll see this side again one day.”
“You make it sound like we’ll never talk like this anymore.”
“Gojo, stop being in denial and see what’s happening right in front of you!” She grabbed his collar and turned her head only to lean against the stones and cover them in red.
“Look at me! I won’t make it.” Frustration was etched on her face. Her eyes had bags under them and her skin made her look sickly. “My lungs won’t hold…And she didn’t heal them.” She dropped further into the water and held herself up with jelly-like arms.
“Then what am I supposed to do? Watch you die?”
“I need you to ask her about your future. Make her remember what’s important.” She wobbled falling against the side of the hot springs and yanked Gojo’s hand, pulling him closer.
“You don’t care as much about me as you think. You know almost nothing.” A long coughing fit stops her from speaking more violently and ragged than the rest. “Make her tell you everything.” Her hand goes limp and she releases him from her grasp.
Gojo lifts her stiff body in his arms from the hot springs. Tears soak his blindfold, “Then why am I crying Y/n? For some reason I can’t stop.” He gave out a chuckle.
***
“You’re in my domain.” Sukuna leered at her.
“And you were in mine.”
“So what? I can do whatever. I. Please.”
“I thought you were going to ask about what happened back there.”
He laughed before starting, “You mean how you let more information slip when you were drinking.” His expression was stoic and didn’t reveal anything. “And then killed another curse from a petty argument.”
“Oh please, like you wouldn’t get pissed off about any comment I make about your ego which is as high as the sky.”
Sukuna then tried to punch a hole through the curse which was thwarted. “Annoying, but I’ll kill you after we’re done talking about the battle. Your domain expansion that is.”
“I thought I explained it thoroughly while it was happening. What exactly did you want to ask?”
“You used me.” Sukuna was at her throat and she didn’t have enough time to do anything.
“So, you figured it out then.” She raised her arms up, blocking his claws from making a cut on her throat.
“No one uses me.”
“We are a team, aren’t we?
“There is no team. But I do have to say it was impressive.” Sukuna mentioned nonchalantly.
Dumbfounded the curse stared at Sukuna waiting for an insult, a death threat, or anything that would say otherwise.
“That is, it would have been if you didn’t rely on my power. Try it on me without my power at your disposal. After all I’m going to kill you for doing this.”
“I knew it was too good to be true.” She pivoted back in a zig-zag pattern as Sukuna slashed his way to her aimed to slice off her head.
“Use it!” He screeched clawing at her cursed energy shields that were on her arms blocking every strike. “I’d say you almost got too good at fighting me. But I won’t be fighting your battles.” He let a barrage of punches do the talking for him.
“I don’t know how!”
Sukuna stopped his attacks, “You don’t know how? Let me help you remember by bashing your head into the floor enough times. You’ll know when you’re on the brink of death.” Sukuna was filled with a lust for battle and continued endlessly slowly wearing her down like the many times before until he had her hanging on a thread.
When she tried to get up from being on the floor, he made sure to kick her while she was down. Her nose had blood running down it and her knuckles were scratched and bruised from the number of times she had to block his increasingly strengthened attacks.
Her rage built and she grit her teeth at her flesh being torn and shredded.
“Are you just going to die here. Because I don’t care what happens to you, why don’t you do something.”
She shoved herself back from his area of attacks and tried to kick him back aiming for his chest.
“Are you finally fighting back? Took you long enough.”
“Do you ever stop talking? I think I’m starting to prefer when you keep laughing to yourself with a face of ecstasy.”
He gives a strong right hook but even with her blocking it she is pushed back. “Say that to me when you get a hit in. You’re weak without me. Admit it.”
“I’m not.” She rushes him and switches from different positions punching him from any angle but it’s useless.
“You are.” He smirks at his words grabbing her and throwing her across the crimson lake.
She pushes herself up again and this time let’s Sukuna come to her. When he comes just close enough, she lets out a wave of blue energy which shoves him back to his starting point.
“Domain expansion.” Sukuna’s words ring out within his realm. “Malevolent Shrine.”

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 14:
Tumblr media
"Do you think the flowers will get burned?" Hanami asks worried after each gust of wind from the battle thrashes the flowers to and fro.
"Perhaps but I think the Inn will collapse on itself before the flowers are hurt." Getou takes another sip of sake.
Another couple of explosions ring out shaking the walls of the inn. Some are running out of the hot springs in bath towels and others are standing outside watching walls burst into splintering rock and wood. People who got further from the site managed to get to their cars but some were dented or crushed from the shrapnel spewed from the ongoing fight.
"Your explosions aren't even hot. How sad." Y/n says freezing another one of the giant insects in a block of ice and hurling it at Jogo.
He panics and takes hold of the block of ice and it melts. He fumes and ash radiates in the atmosphere making the air thick and gray. "Not enough, I'll show you hot!" He lights the curse on fire and she snuffs it out with a wave of ice over her skin. Steam rises from the clashing elements and oozes outside mixing with the air of volcanic ash.
Screams can be heard in the distance from stray humans caught in the crossfire. The smell of burnt flesh lingers among the roaring flames.
Jogo rushes after her but she jumps from place to place avoiding his attacks. The insects come back with a vengeance, their irritating noise making the curse twitch her head with dismay.
"Those things are repulsive." The curse grits her teeth as she exhales with icy breath. The blue waves of cursed energy from the shield retreated and a concentrated mist of frosty fog appeared.
Any insects that attempt to get in range of her end up falling to the ground from the sudden change in temperature. With a wave of her hand, they are wrapped in a layer of ice which makes the irritable noise dull to a stop.
In this moment Jogo smashes his palm against her ribcage releasing a torrent of purple flames and she gets the wind knocked out of her. Third degree burns scorched her skin from torso to head. Her body hit the ground rough and skidded across the grass to a halt.
"Fuck." She said as blood caught in her throat and she sputtered it out turning the grass red. She wanted to scream but her ribs made every breath feel like torture. Instead, another cough of blood came out.
Jogo came to see the damage he had done and was satisfied with his work. "You may have his markings but you're weak."
The curse's face darkened and she muttered something to herself.
"What was that? Another insult?" Jogo fumed cursed flames coming from his head.
"No." The curse grabbed fistfuls of bloodied grass and jammed it into his eye freezing it. "I was talking to Sukuna." Her skin was weaving together repairing the burns within seconds.
Jogo stumbled back and melted the ice off of his eye. By the time he regained his sight he was met with a fist of blue cursed energy. He sped off to gain some distance but the curse followed after him. In turn he sent a hoard of ember insects after her. The explosions passed by without hitting their intended target.
"Domain expansion." Jogo said while making the matching hand formation. A smile crossed his lips as if he knew this would be the end.
The shadows engulfed Jogo and the curse. She stopped. Eyes wide; she knew what was coming next.
Drawing a shaky breath, she clasped her hands together unsure of what to do. "Sukuna, this is a taste of what it means to be on my side."
As the volcanic rock overcame the shadows and lava bubbled up in between the cracks, the world around them became that of an active volcano.
The curse made one hand sign after the next as if it were the most natural thing. Frost stretched across her entire body and with every breath the air around her became colder.
“I need to be colder, even colder. Cold enough to…” As her words trailed off a colorless liquid began to fall like rain from the air around her. Steam rose around her feet but puddles of the colorless liquid fell freezing everything it touched. It creeped toward her and stomped out the steam with a sizzle. A strange fog like substance came off the substance reaching far and wide across the domain. Then the ground beneath her feet cracked like glass as she adjusted her footing.
“Coffin of the Iron Mountain.” Jogo finished.
She raised her arm as if to call a stop to the fighting but instead the liquid instead of raining down on her rained upward defying gravity. Each drop that touched her hair or glazed across her skin froze it making her appear as if she were made of glass.
Lava erupted from the crevasses around and drained into their battlefield like rivers. It shot up from all different angles melting the rock around it and rising at a rapid pace.
“Jogo, have you ever heard of liquid nitrogen?” The curse asked and as time went on the cloud of liquid widened, making the lava the only source of light as the fog covered the entire domain.
“It doesn’t matter since you’ll be dead.”
A laugh echoed from the curse who was no longer visible to Jogo. “If there's enough of it, it can cool down lava. And best of all it causes asphyxiation.” She said with a maniacal grin covered by the nitrogen fog.
“There won’t be enough of that compared the endless amounts of lava in here!” Jogo shouted enraged at the thought.
Liquid nitrogen pooled in a torrential downpour dancing across the surface of the lava as if it were to avoid it. But slowly it was turning to magma. Although it wasn’t enough lava poured in and it never ceased to rise.
“Domain expansion.” The curse whispered. Liquid nitrogen swirled around her in a whirlpool that grew to an immense height until it collapsed forming a tidal like wave that froze everything in sight. It cascaded and rippled across the lava turning it into magma. It blackened and now only glowed a dull red.
Jogo looked up at the wave of liquid nitrogen approaching him, his domain was broken. Cold seeped into his bones and into the air around him. It was pitch black darkness and that was when the wave hit him.
It dragged him along like a rag doll and the current slammed him into many of the newly formed ice spiked which shattered upon impact. His body was freezing and becoming immovable. With each burst of anger and desperate attempt to use his cursed flames they were put out just when they lit. The raging torrent was merciless against him and soon enough he could no longer move, nor speak, nor breathe. Not that the last part mattered to a curse.
The tide receded and darkness faded. When the domain disappeared, the moon was past its peak and the sky was clear. Jogo on the other hand was a popsicle and scrunched up on the ground. Y/n still had her glass-like skin and hair which reflected in the moonlight making her look aethereal in nature.
“Jogo, it’s over.” She strolled over and grabbed his head in between her hands. “I just can’t let him take your power. I don’t want him to become stronger than he already is.” At that she crushed his skull which shattered like glass in her fingertips.
“I never thought how beautiful it would be to see something frozen by liquid nitrogen shatter.” She sat next to Jogo’s body and watched the stars glisten in the night sky. “What do you think Sukuna? Wasn’t his death beautiful?”
You looked like you were going to die for a moment there.
“I was but I was reminded of my purpose.”
It was probably because I’m still here.
“You’re right but let me have this one victory.”
I didn't do everything though. I only amplified your power.
“So, you figured it out then?”
Perhaps unless things change. But for now, I’m leaving.
****A/N I wanted to make this chapter scientifically accurate as possible so I had to do some research about liquid nitrogen and lava. Which is really interesting! Make sure to like and add to your library! You can find me on Tumblr, Wattpad, and AO3.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 13:
Tumblr media
Is this her soul's domain? It can't be...
This isn't possible with the contract we have.
Sukuna wandered the vast icy landscape which had colossal icicles running in a dome shaped pattern and at the top was a light as bright as the sun. The only difference was that it was white which made light scatter and reflect across the various icy structures. Tiny rainbows scattered creating circular patterns within the light and the deeper blue ice like the depths of the ocean glowed brilliant blues from turquoise, to sky blue, and even cerulean.
He sighed and out of the corner of his eye glanced at his reflection. He frowned.
This is completely different from my soul domain.
I wonder if I can find anything else about her here.
Sukuna jaunted toward her icy throne which was sitting in the center of the light as if it were in the middle of the stage on a spotlight.
"So, this is her throne." He reached out and touched it which made ice creep up his fingertips. "Heh...Like a little ice could do anything to me." Hovering over the palm of his hand was a bright orange flame which instantly melted the ice on his fingers. But the throne remained, not even a drop of water was streaming down it.
"How annoying, just like her." Sukuna cracked a smile and sat down on the throne. "Maybe if I look around, I'll be able to find something." He leaned his hand on his chin, closed his eyes, and went into deep thought.
"Wait does that mean our soul domains are connected now? Fuck." Sukuna's muscles tensed on his face and his brow furrowed.
Great now I'm hearing Sukuna narrate in my head. Y/n thought to herself.
Sukuna froze, "Hah? What was that you brat?" Sukuna said irked. He paused and smiled to himself, "So, you can hear me then?"
Sukuna? How the f— You know what I'm not even going to ask. Just get out I can't deal with you right now.
"Then do you want to elaborate on what you were saying earlier?" Sukuna said.
That's not important. Wasn't this only supposed to be possible with Itadori?
"I don't know how it's possible but this may be the most fun thing that has happened in centuries."
I imagine that you have a smug look on your face right now. Fucking narcissist.
"You want to say that to my face? Cause' I'll rip yours right off." Sukuna spit out.
No, I prefer to have my body intact, thank you. Anyway, I'm trying to have a conversation with the enemy right now. So, can you politely fuck off and go back to your soul domain?
"No, I want to know who this enemy is since you clearly don't see me as one."
I assume you mean me, viewing you as a threat to my life. Also don't even think about fighting him yet until you have almost all your fingers. I'd prefer it for you to have all the advantages you can get.
"I don't believe your words. That other curse I fought was also weak. What makes this one any different?"
He has obtained multiple techniques from exorcists over centuries. If you fight him now...Well he wouldn't want to fight you since his plan is to help you...Ugh, just don't make this any more of a mess than it already is.
"I can tell you're hiding something again. Tell me later."
You know I won't.
"I wasn't asking."
***
"Now that Sukuna is out of my way, I can find Getou. I'm sure he wants to talk with me." The curse said as she skipped from the metal grate that covered the battleground. She whistled a nostalgic tune from her homeland and made her way out of the city.
"I never thought so many people would be around here." After a long distance she had made her way to the outskirts of the city. Where the forest met houses there was a small farmers market with plentiful fish, fruits, and jewelry. People bickered and others haggled, once more the day was reaching its end.
"I wish someone could see me. I didn't realize I'd be homesick this soon. I miss them." Her nose dripped and she wiped it on her sleeve.
"Why does this come to mind now...Don't cry. C'mon please." Her eyes were glassy and she tilted her head up to stop the tears from falling down on her face.
"Don't lie to yourself." She squeezed her wrist till the skin heated from her hands. "You would be miserable again. The normal societal path isn't for you. Don't forget, you have a purpose now." Gloom enveloped her spirit and she trudged away from the unaware passersby.
The path laid before her was paved with asphalt and winded up the mountain all the way to the top. "I know they might not be here but I have to try."
She took a deep breath and jumped each step gliding her along the road. She gained speed and watched as cars passed by her. The bright light of the sun was almost fully replaced by moonlight when she reached the mountain peak.
"Welcome to the □□ Inn, would you like a room or to experience the hot springs?" A young woman at the front desk had asked. The curse pointed at herself while looking left and right to see if she was talking to the right person. "Yes, I'm talking to you, there's no one else here."
“I’m just looking for someone.” The curse waved her hand to dismiss the young woman.
“If you want, we also have a bar but it is in the next building over.”
“You have a bar?” The curse questioned with a glint in her eye. She reached into her pocket going for her wallet and remembered she no longer had it. Instead, she found a small red pouch embroidered with koi fish that was sealed with a black string. Inside the bag, thankfully, was money and a note.
It read, “For emergencies only!” with a small drawing of Gojo with a peace sign.
“This is an emergency.” Y/n whispered to herself and held the pouch tightly.
In the next building over the curse found herself taking a seat at the bar and ordering a high-quality sake. The first sip was delightful, a waft of warmth washed over her and she adjusted herself on the wooden bar stool.
A man who had long black hair that almost appeared blue in the dim bar light. And across his forehead was a scar that had multiple star shapes across it.
“Your scar looks similar to that of multiple bullet wounds right up against the head or…a brain surgery.” The curse stuck out her tongue at the man.
“Don’t tell me your already drunk, I needed to ask you a few questions.” Getou said.
“Ha, that’s exactly what Sukuna said.” The curse took a long sip from her ochoko and poured some more sake. “And no, I’m not drunk but I don’t want to be sober for this conversation.”
“Then how do you know who I am? I’m sure there was no one left alive to know me from back then.”
“No need to make such a scary face Kenjaku. I just wanted you to know I have a contract with Sukuna so stop getting in my way.”
“Then I should just kill you. I can’t let you ruin my plans any further.”
“You think I don’t know you took over Itadori’s mother’s body. I have to say it’s fucked up not that it matters. Or that you plan on using a competition between sorcerers as a way to force evolution. Or…”
“Do you plan to keep talking? How about you bring Sukuna over here so he can get more of his fingers.” Kenjaku grabs a bottle of sake and starts drinking.
“He switched back earlier, if you stopped Mahito from being turned into a puddle he would have made it in time. I mean you’re just going to absorb your fledglings anyway.”
Kenjaku tilts his head and swivels his stool in her direction, “That’s strange why do you have Sukuna’s markings on you? They weren’t there earlier. Unless you…”
“It's not what you think, I didn’t. But he would have to be here for this to happen…” The curse puts down her cup of sake and mutters to herself. “Shut up.”She pulls her hair and twirls it around her finger.
“Why wouldn’t you want to join in my plan? It will be a new age for curses.”
“You mean a new age for you; I mean, don’t you just want to kill all of humanity and become the king of curses?” The curses swung her sake cup in a circle to emphasize her point.
“You aren’t wrong but there is more to it.”
“There’s always more but it’s never enough, is it?” She leans herself against the back of the stool. “We keep looping the same conversation get to the point will you.” She groans and pinches her nose.
In response Kenjaku tries to use his cursed manipulation technique on her.
“For a curse who has been working on his plan for a millennium that was a risk you shouldn’t have taken.” A blue wave of cursed energy pushes his hand back with the touch of a feather. Which makes Kenjaku take his hand back and put it back to the bottle.
“I was just testing that’s all.”
“You like to do that; I know all too well.” She pushes away the bottle and cup. “So instead, I’ll take something precious from you.”
“Then it looks like we’ll be fighting.” Kenjaku steps back and sets up his first attack.
“Hey, I heard the curse you’ve been looking for is here.” Jogo pauses and sees the two of them are about to fight.
“Oh, it’s the volcano head that has tantrums.” She comments deadpanning.

“Oh, it’s the volcano head that has tantrums.” She comments deadpanning.
The volcano on his head bubbles releasing a puff of ash into the air and he releases a blast of reddish-orange flames.
The curse puts up her curse energy shield and ice blooms on her skin. “Getou how about we finish this conversation another time.” She gives a full business smile and struts to Jogo waving her hand creating a mist of frost.
“I’d prefer if we didn’t battle yet. I hope we cross paths again soon.” Getou said.
Jogo uses his flames to dissipate the frost and finds the curse is nowhere to be seen. “Why do you have Sukuna's markings?”
“Up here!” She comes from above him bursting a fountain of ice from her hands encasing Jogo in it.
A frozen Jogo stands in shock unable to move while the curse finds the bar in tatters with broken glass strewn about and burned holes in the wooden walls. Among the wreck she snags the bottle of sake and drinks the rest. “Now I’m ready.”
“Are you underestimating me!” Jogo erupts from head to ear. He concentrates his destructive flames on her but she manages to pivot and leap avoiding his attack. Which makes the stability of the building begin to creak and weaken under the burning wood.
Jogo summons his flying ember insects which create a loud buzzing sound.
“It’s sad that I know what all of your attacks do before we fight.” She licks her lips and rounds up the insects into a group and pushes them toward Jogo with her shield stepping closer and closer until…

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 12:
Tumblr media
"Now where can I find the one who caused this?" Sukuna followed the scent of death toward the sewers. He ambled onward until he came across a giant circular hole in the wall. "It must be this way."
He jumped up and gripped the rims of the circular hole pulling himself in. "Haaaa? It's empty." The ceiling was high and the place was all cement in the shape of a giant cylinder.
"What do you think you're doing here?"
The familiar voice caught him off guard.
She followed me?
"Why were you the one who left the spectacle outside for me to see? It was small scale if anything." He stared at the entrance where he came from.
"No, but I know you're looking for who did." She curled her fingers around the edge of the circle and her head poked through the darkness.
"If you know where he is then tell me already." Sukuna said ready to start fighting her again.
"I think you'll find his pets more fun to play with than me." She pointed to the roof which was a large circular grate which had a variety of Mahito's experiments lying about.
Some of the experiments howled or spoke incoherent words. Their bodies were those of animals who were covered in human skin. Large droopy eyes the size of a head or hands as small as fingers. Folds of skin wriggled and jiggled showing that the elasticity of human skin remained after transformation.
Sukuna lifted an eyebrow and ran up the wall to rip the grate which was already being chewed into by what appeared to be a human caterpillar.
Large lips snacked on the metal and the large eyes blinked one after the other. It dropped to the bottom with a splat and tried to squirm but Sukuna sliced it into small sections.
"Is this his power turning humans into whatever this is?" He kicked the enlarged head which rolled into the wall and turned back to its normal shape. "It's boring. It's not the same as killing a human in their regular state; panicked and frantic while they run for their lives."
"I guess you'd rather kill more quickly than less slowly." She thought aloud.
"Are you trying to analyze me or something?" He lets both sets of eyes focus on her and squints one pair. Other mutated humans fall through the hole in the grate surrounding Sukuna. While other smaller ones eat the fresh kill. "Hey, do you intend to have me keep fighting these things?" He takes a step toward one of the warped humans and tears into it with his bare hands making the bottom of the cylinder drenched in blood.
"He'll be here soon; don't worry you'll get your answers." The curse laid down her body curving against the shape of the entrance. "But know this. He is the one who tried to warp your soul."
"Is that...Sukuna?" Mahito dropped down elongating his legs to touch the ground and let his body snap back to his regular state like rubber.
"What do you want?" Sukuna looked down on the curse with his hand in position to wave him out of existence.
"We want to bring a new golden age for curses won't you join us?" Mahito offered a hand with a smile. "We have more fingers we can give you, all we need you to do is make a contract with Itadori Yuji."
"Heh...Your offer does sound wonderful but I've already made a contract with someone else." Sukuna turned toward to where the other curse was.
She got up out of the hole and walked up to Sukuna pushing the other amalgamations away with the shield made of cursed energy.
"You, just how much have you interfered with our plans already?" Mahito asked.
"Too much for you to fix things." She stepped on one of his smaller experiments and ground it into the floor.
"I'll take back what's mine though." Sukuna flicked his hand making Mahito crash into the wall with incredible speed. Concrete crumbled around him as he coughed up blood. Mahito melted into a puddle and recollected himself.
"Do you think you can order me around as you please? I'll do what I want." Sukuna sent slashes of cursed energy at Mahito who moved like he was flowing water.
"We're on the same side there's no need to fight." Mahito said trying to coax Sukuna.
One of Sukuna's slashes caught up to Mahito chopping off the bottom half of one of his legs. He rolled and shifted his body into a wheel-like shape stretching his arms and legs to connect so he could roll away faster.
The walls were cracking and concrete shot out every time Sukuna was carelessly throwing around cursed energy. The air thickened with particles of stone which made seeing the enemy that much more difficult.
Mahito kept spinning and rolling until he was continuously revolving around on the walls.
"Are you going to keep standing there?" Sukuna spouted before he leaped and punched a hole in the wall missing Mahito again.
"You clearly don't need me." The curse said.
Mahito launched himself from the wall right at the curse but he bounced off her shield.
"Are you switching your target Mahito?" The curse asked.
"You better not I'm not done fighting!" Sukuna shouted punching every spot he saw Mahito making the place come down on itself. Sukuna irked pivoted and intercepted Mahito's next landing spot and threw him to the ground which only made Mahito shift himself into a wide surface area mitigating the damage. Then he focused himself to one point away from Sukuna's next barrage of punches.
"I'll beat you till you're a bloody pulp. And then you can tell me where my fingers are." Sukuna said.
"I don't know where they are—" Mahito got out before he was punched repeatedly over and over until his face was red.
Sukuna got up and spoke, "You're useless to me then." But as he was going to land the final hit Mahito again managed to slip away like slime hiding in between every rock and pebble in sight. "Tch...bastard got away."
"I'm surprised you didn't create your domain." The curse said.
"I don't want to lose my source of entertainment. You know what's coming next and I'm sure you know what he was talking about. Where are they?"
"..."
"Aren't you going to tell me that you withheld information about the rest of my fingers?" Veins in his neck twitched and he furrowed his brows with all four eyes on her.
"There are lots of things I'm not telling you for good reason."
"Did you perhaps think you could save humanity from me?" He pointed at himself with his clawed nail and laughed. "How stupid are you?"
She sighed, "I never wanted to save humanity."
Eyes wide he laughed heartily, "Then what did you intend to do? Maybe change me? Did you forget who I am?" Sukuna smiled and couldn't stop himself from cackling.
"I never expected to change a person who lost all their humanity long ago." She took in a deep inhale, "I wanted to change their fate." She trailed off and faced away from him.
"What you can't even look at the ally you have?" Sukuna reached for her shoulder and made her face him. "What's with that face?" He had a look of confusion. "Are you smiling?"
She tried to cover her mouth which revealed the huge grin she had on her face.
"Why are you so happy?" He said disgusted by the sudden change.
"I'm not. I'm just surprised you didn't switch to their side when they mentioned having your fingers."
"Do I really have to explain why?" He waited but she didn't tell him to stop. He sat crisscross on one of the many piles of broken concrete and continued, "There must be a reason why you didn't join them. And I know it must have something to do with Itadori. Not that that really matters to me."
Annoying. Annoying but fun.
"I know those idiots want to help me and you want to ruin their plans." He smirked. "I don't think forcing a golden age to happen will work. I would have killed all of humanity by then." Sukuna said.
"You know when you're not on a mindless rampage of killing your smart." The curse said with a smirk.
"Fuck off." Sukuna grumbled and grinded his teeth together.
“There’s something else I need to do but I need you to stay here.” She said.
“Already going to do something else without me? What exactly do you want me to do while you’re doing something fun, nothing?” Sukuna got up from the concrete pile and got in her face.
“There’s something I’ve been wanting to try.” Without any notice she clocks Sukuna in the face using her cursed energy shield around her fist.
He slid back from the blow, “Did you want to fight?” He raised his claws, “Cause’ I’ll give you a fight.”
“No I just thought…” She strode up to him and let Sukuna’s claws draw blood from her chest. “That you would pass out.” She reached her hand to touch his heart but he backstepped.
What is she talking about…
Sukuna fell into her arms and the marks on his skin faded.
“I guess his time limit is up. It’s probably fine that I leave Itadori here, I can’t waste any time.” She let Itadori fall to the ground.
“Now I need to find where Getou is.” The curse climbed up the piles of concrete using stones that stuck out to reach the top of the grate. Bending the metal, she crawled up out of the battlefield and began her journey.
***
“Just when I was about to find out more, I end up switching back. I thought the contract would let me keep going but I still don’t have enough power yet.” Sukuna leaned his elbow on the bone armrest of his throne.
“I know she’s keeping at least one of my fingers from me. I swore I sensed it earlier.” He got up from his throne and stepped down the mountain of bones which held his throne.
In the distance was a glimmer of a dull blue light not going away.
He blinked twice and shook his head to see if he was seeing things but the light remained. Curious he wandered over but it appeared the light was still far away. He ran and broke out into a sprint; the light came closer ever so slowly.
It felt like the star shaped light was an endless distance away but he kept going.
“Why is it so far away?” His sprint turned into large strides and leaps across the blood ocean that was his domain. It splashed up with each step creating ripples that stretched far and wide.
After what felt like infinity, he reached the glowing blue star which wasn’t a star at all but a crack. “Why would there be a crack here?” He spoke as if someone was going to answer him.
He placed his hand next to it and traced his finger along the crack. He put more pressure into his search but crack remained the same.
Determined to break a wider hole he attacked it with everything he had. Every punch, slash, and claw broke open the crack wider piece by piece. As the hole grew wider a cold breeze came through.
So, Sukuna used his cursed energy to do fire techniques which melted the area around the already widening hole. When he managed to take a step through all he could see for miles was ice.
And far in the distance was something very familiar.
Is that her throne? But how is it here?

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 11
Tumblr media
Blaring sirens could be heard from the quaint neighborhood and people hoarded around the yellow tape line. Blood splatters decorated the ground and a body was sticking out of any alleyway.
“We will take the investigation from here.” Nanami adjusted his goggles and the glare from the sun covered his eyes.
The officer on the scene chatted with Nanami and soon he radioed the rest of the people on the scene to clear out. Although some people were still staring at the spectacle before them.
Itadori lifted up the yellow tape line and crouched down to take a look at the body. It was a boy about his age who had dark brown hair covering half of his face. In the center of his chest was a gaping hole that went right through and it was the shape of a footprint. When Itadori saw the red fleshy hole, he froze and lost his balance, unable to tear his eyes away from the horrific sight.
“Who is that?” Itadori said, shocked.
“It’s Yoshino Junpei, I got the information from Ichiji.” Nanami said taking out his phone to confirm that it truly was the boy that needed to be questioned. “The problem is we won’t be able to get any answers about the curse he was speaking to.”
“I assume this is from the fact that there is a footprint through his chest.” Y/n stood and sighed at the crime scene.
“How are you not…?” Itadori trailed off.
“Scared? Throwing up? I have no idea, maybe I used to watch too many horror movies.” The curse answered. “Looks like the officers cleared the rest of the civilians out, they’re all gone.” She rolled her eyes.
“Junpei!” A woman who had short black hair ran up to the crime scene dropping her groceries on the ground. “It can’t be…” She held the yellow tape as if it was her only life line. She bit her lip and choked out a sob and tears streamed down her face like a river.
“You must be the mother; I’d like to ask you a few questions.” Nanami took a few steps in her direction blocking her view from the view of her son’s dead body.
“I…” The woman blubbered out and she tried to get another look but Nanami moved his hand in the direction her eyes traveled.
“You might not want to keep looking at him for your own sake.” Nanami dropped his hand to his side and watched the woman nod and sniffle. “Itadori, remember what we went over, look for traces.”
Yuji pulled himself together and went into full focus mode. He walked around the area and found some traces left by a curse. He followed the glowing footsteps that were in the alleyway which stopped in the center. Pausing he did a full 360-degree turn to and saw a very light red stain that looked like it was mostly washed away from the rain. He dragged his fingers along the ground but the trail ended.
Then he returned back to the main scene to see the mother of the boy trudging back the way she came. Her movements were as if she was a machine just going through the motions. The woman stopped when she came back to see her groceries on the ground. She slowly picked up each item and placed it back in the torn paper bag and her sadness came back with a vengeance.
“Itadori did you find anything else?” Nanami strolled up waiting for his response.
“I found a lead but…I don’t think this is where he originally died.” Itadori clenched his fists and anguish made his face tense.
Nanami placed a hand on Itadori’s head and spoke, “This may be the first time you’re dealing with a human death in this field but it won’t be the last.”
Itadori pushed down his anger and took a shaky breath, “Can we follow the trail we found now.”
“I don’t think following the lead you found is the best idea. We don’t know how powerful this curse is and clearly all these other blood splatters aren’t all from one person. Something else happened here.” The curse added in.

“She has a point Itadori. Not to mention I wasn’t supposed to be doing this work in the first place.” Nanami commented. “Let’s head back to the office.”
“That’s it? We’re just going back like nothing happened?” Itadori wasn’t himself but anger incarnated. “Someone died and we’re going to do nothing!” He argued his plea but Nanami shook his head.
“Let’s go back.” Nanami began walking back to the building. The sun was high in the sky with not even a cloud in the sky. Not even the weather would mourn this mass loss.
***
“A death for a life. That is the deal.” The curse whispered to herself.
“Did you say something Y/n?” Nanami questioned looking over his notes from the scene.
Itadori was huddled on the corner of the couch staring at a wall as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. “I’m going out for a breather.” Itadori let his fingers glide across the fabric of the couch and he went out the door closing it behind him.
“He’s going to investigate the lead, isn’t he?” The curse’s eyes gazed at the door as if it was going to open with Itadori running back in at any second. “But that doesn’t matter, I mean you have questions for me, right?”
Nanami got up from his desk and sat across from the curse on the other couch. “Isn’t Sukuna going to come running here?”
She huffed out a short laugh, “Not if he accepts my offer.”
“You sound so sure that he will.” Nanami scowled.
“If he wants entertainment he’ll accept even if it means going against other curses.”
“If he wants entertainment he’ll accept even if it means going against other curses.”
“Then can you answer me what she wouldn’t?” Nanami leaned back onto the couch but he was stiff against the plush cushion.
“The answer that changed how she acts you mean. You want to know why she was so nonchalant and uncaring when in battle, right?”
“It was a memory she wouldn’t speak of. One that involved me, I’m sure you know. Since they are your memories too.” Nanami rested his hand on his knee which he held with a vice grip.
“I showed her your death.” She covered her eyes with her hand and exhaled a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
“You know how I die? Is this your cursed power?”
“I won’t tell you any more than this. I don’t want you telling Gojo things he doesn’t need to know.”
“Of course, he doesn’t know.” Nanami facepalmed and got up to get some coffee from the machine on the other side of the room. “Then I need to know, are you on our side?” Nanami got an insulated cup and poured the hot coffee in.
“Yes.” She watched him place the pot of coffee back. He didn’t move from his spot.
“I’m going to have to do overtime, aren’t I?” Nanami leaned his arm on the edge of the table where the coffee area was and took a long sip.
“Yes.” The curse turned away from him. “I just want you to know I didn’t want you to die.” She muttered under her breath.
Silence engulfed the room and wind swirled through the taped-off broken window.
“More fucking work. It never ends.” Nanami’s eye twitched at his words.
“Then you know I need to leave.” She got up from the couch and had her hand on the door.
“Well, I’m not going to stop you. And while you’re at it make sure to bring Itadori back.”
“I’d be more worried about the girl at the coffee shop you go to.”
“I’m not even going to ask how you knew that.” Nanami crushed his empty coffee cup and chucked it into the trash can.
“Then where will you go?” Nanami asked.
“To stop Sukuna from doing something stupid.” She whipped her head back to look at Nanami and had a begrudging expression.
***
“Isn’t this where we were before she…” Sukuna peered at the familiar environment he was at minus the extra blood and the corpse being moved.
“Night already passed, but it seems like it hasn't even been that long.” A wide smile graced his lips. “The smell of blood in the air isn’t bad.”
“Be my ally.”
“Why did her words pop into my head now of all times.” Sukuna scratched his head annoyed at his thought. He clicked his tongue as he wandered searching for wherever this Mahito person was.
There's no way he is stronger than me. I'll show her I'm not weak like her. That will put her in her place.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 10
Tumblr media
"I mean it might be my fault. Maybe." Gojo ignored Nanami's boiling rage and whistled.
"Did you find anything out?" Nanami asked Gojo who was secretly trying to take some of Itadori's mocha mochi.
Gojo repositioned himself to his original spot and fake coughed, "Well, she made a contract with Sukuna."
"That explains why Itadori came back but isn't it strange that the contract wasn't with Itadori?" Nanami pulled up his office rolling chair to be in the group circle.
"Itadori aren't you going to comment on this?" The curse said blowing on the hot chocolate to cool it before taking another sip.
"I don't remember any of it." He finished polishing off the rest of the mochi.
"Not the mochi! You didn't save even one for me." Gojo complained and stared up at the ceiling with a long sigh.
"Gojo this isn't the time for...Was there anything else that you didn't mention yet?" Nanami held back his anger flaring to a peak.
"She was the one who found the next finger." Gojo said monotone.
"You're telling me when Sukuna and this curse were running around, you came back because she handed you one of Sukuna's fingers?" Nanami brought both his hands up to cup his face covering his mouth in the process.
"I mean she said Sukuna couldn't hurt any humans and that's how I found out about the contract. While Sukuna was technically chasing after her...and I followed." Gojo pursed his lips into a fish face.
"Did she want to bring you to a particular place?" Y/n rested her head against her hand and leaned in Gojo's direction.
"I don't think it was to specifically bring me there. But I do think she knew I would follow her." Gojo took the empty mochi box looking for the address.
"Is that why you told me to go where she was last seen?" Nanami twisted his chair and placed one of his arms on the soft armrest.
"We wouldn't know what would happen when the two clashed. And it didn't sound like she wanted to talk to me again anytime soon." Gojo combed his fingers through his hair.
"The problem is that there is a section of time that isn't accounted for. We don't know what she was doing with Sukuna besides fighting." Nanami narrowed his eyes.
"I don't think she has bad intentions otherwise she would have never given me one of Sukuna's fingers and told me to be wary of the unknown enemy." Gojo spoke throwing the mochi box into the trash from his seat.
"Nice shot!" Itadori cheered and they high fived.
"You mean the enemies that you drew and gave to the association to look out for?" Nanami laid back into his chair.
"Yeah, they might have something to do with this." Gojo interlaced his fingers with each other and splayed them, with his elbows on his legs. "She said that they have some of Sukuna's fingers too. More than we think." Gojo tacked on at the end.
"Then don't we have to get it back from them?" Itadori was fired up and ready to go out into battle at the next word.
"Itadori what part of training did you not get?" Y/n popped the lid off her hot chocolate and watched the steam waft off the chocolatey goodness.
"Itadori she has a point, if the enemy has more high-grade curses, then what we've seen you aren't ready yet."
A frown crossed Itadori's features and his whole body sulked.
"That's why you want me to train him to be an exorcist?" Nanami answered.
"I thought I was an exorcist already?" Itadori said confused.
"Not yet." Nanami said.
"Then I'll leave you guys to it!" Gojo waved and leaped from the couch rushing out the door.
"He's going to get mochi isn't he?" The curse said. "Wait, he left me here!" She went to follow him out the door.
"Gojo wanted you to stay here and train as well." Nanami stopped her before she went out the door.
"Great..." She released the door knob and went back to sit next to Itadori instead of across from him. "Let's get to it then."
***
"What have I done?" Stifled sobs and shallow breaths echoed in the icy caves.
"I wasn't myself, those feelings disappeared as fast as they came." The curse muttered to herself.
"Could there have been another way? Something I didn't look for yet?" Her hands dug into her scalp with her eyes bulging and frantic.
"Junpei..." A whimper came out which was halted by violent shake of her head. "Maybe I didn't have to kill you...But I was so angry." She clawed at the arm of the frozen throne and broke every handful she could grab.
"I didn't even tell your mother your last words." She dropped to the icy floor and leered at her reflection.
"What have I become?" What?" The vicious clawing was redirected at her neck making it red and raw.
"RRRRRAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGGGHH!" She screeched.
"Have I truly lost my humanity? But I still felt sorrow when I saw Junpei's mother, not to mention Junpei himself. My heart panged...does that mean nothing?" Another wail wracked her body and she punched her reflection in the ice shattering it. She punched it over and over until her hands were black and blue.
"I don't deserve to heal this." Her hands trembled and she placed them on top of one another to stop the shaking. She dragged her head forward and put herself in an almost prayer-like position and pushed herself to her side. A cracked smile was on her lips and reveled in her own pain.
Her voice became weak and quavered, "Did I even feel anything when I killed him?"
"At least...I hope Sukuna accepts my offer. Even if it's at the cost of my own sanity." The curse couldn't help herself from laughing but stopped abruptly to punch the floor again. Twisting and turning her fist further into the ice making it bleed.
"It's not enough." She croaked and reopened the wounds that were starting to clot, making sure they didn't close. "I'm itching to do something...Maybe..." A grin danced on her face and she let out a hoarse laugh.
***
“I guess that’s why he didn’t come back.” Mahito gazed at the dead body and kicked a rock in its direction. “Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.”
Mahito crouched down next to the body and peered into the open hole of his chest. “This wasn’t by a human.” He placed his hand into the open gap and his fingers pressed into the flesh.
“A footprint?” Mahito lifted up the body by the neck and did indeed see a footprint. He lugged the body out of the alley way and threw it into the main street area. Some passersby panicked, others took out their phones and began to take pictures at the gory sight. Mahtio strolled out of the alleyway and most people didn’t move to run. They just kept filming.
As Mahito approached closer the crowd backed up further but he managed to touch; 1, 2, 3, 4… And one by one the people in the crowd transformed and became disfigured monsters. A man screamed trying to run away but was already halfway a blob.
“Mommy what is that?” A child pointed toward the strange creatures and the mother picked her up but Mahito was faster.
A warped, “MOmMy?” Came out and the once child had a melted droopy face.
In shock the mother dropped her child which tried to crawl to her, the amalgamation that it was, but she turned her back and ran.
Mahito took pleasure in this panic and then caught up to the mother.
“Please don’t-” The woman cried. Her body bubbled and a multitude of arms spread from her elongated torso.

Mahito took pleasure in this panic and then caught up to the mother.
“Please don’t-” The woman cried. Her body bubbled and a multitude of arms spread from her elongated torso.
A neighborhood once filled with loving memories was now forever tainted.
Mahito smiled at his haul of new experiments and human dolls. “She killed my plaything; I can’t wait to meet her again. One day I’ll shape her soul, one day.” Mischief dressed his features and he clenched a fist around one of his tiny experiments.
“Mahito.” Getou called from a distance.
Mahito quirked his eyebrow and waltzed over like an overjoyed child. “What is it?”
“Did you find her yet?”
“No, but she killed a toy I was playing with.” He waited for Getou to look past him and see the transformed humans around the corpse. Of which some were dining on its flesh. “She was here not that long ago.”
“Find her and catch her, I don’t want her ruining our plans. I want to kill her myself.” Getou spouted before going back the way he came, disappearing into the new crowd of people approaching.
Mahito sneered at the fresh meat and welcomed them to their end.

ring ring
“Are you going to answer that Nanami?” The curse was sitting on the corner of the rooftop somehow still drinking her hot chocolate.
“Itadori remember to aim for weak spots on your enemy.” Nanami reached into his pocket and pressed the answer button.
When the monster was a strange mix between a giant lizard and a frog came a little too close the curse activated her curse shield to guide it back toward Yuji.
Itadori was jumping around landing hits with his divergent fist. And dodging when the lizard-frog tried crushing him or biting him.
“Aren’t you done with that hot chocolate?” Itadori asked, taking his attention off the monstrosity in front of him.
“Yes.”
“Then why not help me—”
“It’s doing a new attack, Itadori…dodge!” She shoved Itadori collapsing next to him and they both heard the sizzling of the concrete. “Was that acid?”
Nanami hung up the phone shoving it back into his pocket, “Itadori always keep an eye on your enemy.” He grasped his wrapped butcher knife and did one critical hit after another.
“Y/n what happened to your determination? You were so eager to train but now…you changed?” Itadori asked.
“It's the memories I’m getting back it’s changing me. And…her.”
“Itadori, Y/n let’s wrap this up. We need to go there has been an incident in the area you were before.” Nanami interrupted.
Nanami finished instructing Itadori and the curse was exorcised. “Are you going to explain what happened back there?”
“I saved him in time, didn’t I?” She said.
“We can’t have any more close calls like that, not today.” Nanami said adjusting his goggles. “Can you fight?”
“I can.” The curse said.
“Do you think the problem is from her?” Nanami’s goggles had a glare on them.
“It’s like an infinite sorrow with no end but…” She rubbed her shoulder not able to look him in the eye.
“What memory—”
“Hey are we going?” Itadori was already hopping from one roof to the next.
“She can tell you.” The curse gave a hurt smile and followed behind Yuji. “It isn’t the right time yet.”

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 9
Tumblr media
"Things are happening faster than I thought they would." Y/n bites her nails and continues to walk absentmindedly.
"For someone who knows the future you don't look like you can do much of anything." Sukuna gives her a once over trying to find something he can find fault with.
"For someone who has been absent for a thousand years you sure talk a lot." She leans her head forward and tilts it to the side with her eyes wide.
"When are you going to show me your amazing plan that will change everything?" Sukuna pins his attention on one of the street lamps that flickers nonstop.
"We're almost there." She points in the direction of a river that runs under a bridge. "He should be somewhere around here." The curse cranes her head to catch any sight of passersby and sees a boy with brown hair. "It's him, c'mon."
Sukuna doesn't bother to move faster and observes her movements. "I don't see how interacting with a human will destroy my plan."
"Watch then." She runs up to him and taps him on the shoulder. "I assume you can see me, Yoshino."
"Who are you?" Junpei shocked backs away from the two curses.
"My name isn't important." She takes a step closer to him and a shadow covers her face. "What is important is that I know you were talking with Mahito."
"How do you?!" Junpei continues to take one step back after another.
"I think you'll like to hear what I have to say." A smile with fangs protruding dress her expression. "It's about your mother."
"She has nothing to do with this." He shouts at her and tries to use his newfound power.
She rushes him and crushes his fingers between her hands. "Tell that to Mahito."
The curse lets go of his hand and he wails out in agony clutching onto his hand.
"This is a little entertaining." Sukuna says leaning against a lamppost watching the conversation happen from a distance. "But it would be better if you just killed him. It's more fun that way."
"Another cursed spirit." Sweat drips down Junpei's cheek and he stares at Sukuna who doesn't really care for the theatrics.
"Are you listening now?" She crouches down and swipes his bangs that cover his eye. "Look at me properly Junpei."
Junpei is frozen in place and opens his mouth to speak, "Mahito wouldn't do that."
"Are you sure about that?" Glowing circles of red irises stare at him with a dark shadow that covers the rest of her features. "Did you know he thinks of you as a plaything? And as soon as he gets bored, he'll toss you away like the rest of his experiments." She draws her finger in a circle and ends pointing it off to the side.
"He wouldn't." Junpei repeats and attempts to get up but his legs tremble and are unable to hold him up.
"Just like a baby deer." Sukuna comments with a gin chuckling at the boy's misery.
"Don't worry I removed what would harm her from your home." The curse took his hand in her's. "But there is a price for your ignorance." Her heartwarming tone switched to one with no mercy.
"I don't understand. What price—" Junpei said confused.
Hands wrapped around Junpei and he was thrust over the curse's shoulder. "We need to move to a more...secluded location for that."
"Haah? It was just getting good." Sukuna moved from his spot. "Where are you taking him?"
She walked around with Junpei on her right shoulder and placed her hand on Sukuna's arm whispering something indiscernible.
"Heh...I never thought you could—or would do that." Sukuna smirked and fiddled with his pockets.
"What do you plan to do with me?" Junpei pounded his fists against her back in panic.
"What needs to be done." Wind tossed her hair in curls along with leaves taken sweeping to the ground.
They made their way across the streets and stopped when in the middle of a thin alleyway hidden from the main roads. She tossed Junpei against the wall putting her foot up against his chest. Making sure to press the right amount of strength to stop him from squirming around.
"It hurts to breath." He cried out and tears welled up in his eyes.
"You want to know the price for what you have done? No, what you would have done?" She presses her foot further into his chest and he gasps for air. "For hurting the first friend you make. For hurting the one who didn't wrong your mother. For believing Mahito."
"I—" Tears stream down and his breaths come shallow.
Rain pours down hiding Junpei's tears and sniffling. Y/n releases her foot from his chest and he collapses hacking desperate for oxygen.
"Don't pass out on me yet." She yanks his neck and Junpei grasps her wrist with both his hands.
"I don't have any friends." Junpei mutters out.
"I know, but you would've if I wasn't here." She squeezes his neck a little and lets him be one with the rocky and rain-soaked path. “But I won’t ever let you hurt him. He didn’t deserve to go through what he did because of you.”
Coughs echo through the alleyway but the rain muffles the noise from going further out.
“Then, at least tell me his name.” Junpei pleaded.
“Oh, I thought you wouldn’t care? What happened to the emotionless Junpei who didn’t care about dead bodies?” She tapped her long nails against each other looking down at him.
“That has nothing to do with—”
“It has everything to do with it, but I’ll tell you only once. So, listen closely.” She got on both knees and held his head in place. Her damp hair tickled his ear and he flinched. “Itadori Yuji.”
Junpei gave a small smile, “A friend.”
She lifted her foot up high and slammed it down into his back. It went right through with a splat. Blood mixed with the rain and it soaked her shoes. A long sigh was hidden by the rain and she lifted him to sit against the wall. “Any last words?”
Red trickled from his lips and his eyes were weary, “Tell my mother I love her.”
“Are we done here? You took forever.” Sukuna said miffed.
“Sukuna, this is how you kill someone.”
“My way is more efficient.”
“It’s not about efficiency but meaning.”
“Don’t tell me this is your first kill?” He couldn’t hold himself from letting out a guttural laugh.
“How did you get that from what I said?” She questioned him unsure of how to play her next words.
“I can tell you’re not enjoying this.” Sukuna strolled out of the cramped alleyway to the street.
She stood still in the rain for what felt like hours not moving from the spot. Emotions were strangling her by the throat. “I’m sorry.”
Sukuna peaked back into the entrance of the alleyway and yelled, “Oi, are you going to move. I still need to interrogate you.”
She let her hand glide across the stone wall to guide her out of the alleyway. Her clothes were drenched and she squeezed some water out of the fabric.
“I’m curious, what was the name of his friend?”
“You didn’t hear?” She shook her head and droplets from her hair went everywhere. “It doesn’t matter.”
“I still don’t get it.”
“Get what?”
“So, what if this one human died?”
“It was the way he died. That’s all you need to know.”
“There’s more but you’re not telling me.” He punches at her but she grabs his fist.
“Itadori was able to gain more hatred for you that’s all.” Her cursed energy fluctuated and her markings began shifting to mimic his. “That’s when he knew you were pure evil, along with Mahito anyway.”
“Who is this Mahito you keep speaking of?”
“Another curse who annoys you.”
“I’ll just kill him then.”
“You aren’t strong enough yet.” She spits out as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
“Eh, are you trying to piss me off cause it’s working.” He launches a barrage of fists at her but she uses her cursed energy shield to stop the assault.
“I’ll tell you one more thing before Itadori switches back.”
“He’s not switching back for a while, since you’re still here.” He claws and scratches at the shield but it doesn’t budge. “Wait, you’re not going to…” Sukuna’s attacks hasten and he has desperation in his voice. “I’m not finished yet!”
“Be my ally.”
Sukuna stopped, “What?” He made the an exaggerated ‘huh?’ face.
“Hey.” A man with blonde hair and googles came in slicing Sukuna’s arm off. “I assume you're the curse Gojo was talking about.”
“He mentioned me to you?” She had a hand to her chin and nodded as if agreeing with the statement. “Of course, he did.”
Nanami pivoted to the side and back, avoiding Sukuna’s attacks. It wasn’t enough and Sukuna was beginning to do some damage.
“I’ll expect your answer soon Sukuna.” She waved and gave a true smile.
Sukuna changed course to the curse trying to stop her from switching back.
“Nanami, don’t let Gojo give Itadori the next finger he found.” After that she knocked herself out and her cursed energy dissipated.
“Dammit, you hid that from me…” He finally got to her but she was already unconscious and he faded along with her.
“What am I supposed to do with them?” Nanami stared at the two unconscious curses trying to figure out the next course of action.
***
“Gojo get your feet off the table.” Nanami said irked.
“Aw, c’mon~. Let me give him the—” Gojo was again cut off.
“No. I’ve already taken it somewhere else.”
Itadori was on the couch eating macha mochi without saying a word.
“Ah, I totally forgot to introduce you. You’ll be training under Nanami, Itadori.” Gojo smiled bopping his head back and forth.
“Is no one going to mention the gaping open window that is shattered.” Yuji spoke up feeling another breeze from the window that is not supposed to be a window.
“It’s blocked off with tape so it’s fine.” Gojo glazed over.
“Are you not going to explain why Sukuna jumped out of my office window and what that has to do with this other curse?” Nanami’s eye twitched.
“I can explain that.” Y/n raised her hand while holding a cup of hot chocolate in the other.
“When did you get hot chocolate?” Gojo looked offended at the fact he didn’t have some too.
“This isn’t about hot chocolate.” Nanami groaned and facepalmed. “Will someone please explain.”
“This is all Gojo’s fault.” Y/n placed her hot chocolate on the table and put her hands in her lap. “He wanted to talk to her about how Itadori came back to life.”

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 8
Tumblr media
"She's gone." Sukuna taps his nails against his throne of bone and cracks his neck. Letting out a sigh he puts a hand through his hair and closes his eyes.
How do I figure out what she knows about the future?
Bone fragments drop onto the pile of skulls he has under his throne and he lifts his hand over where the damage is.
Damn her. She made me ruin my precious throne.
Sukuna pushes himself up from his seat and walks down the pile of bones with a crunch in every step.
And her throne is still here.
His eye twitched at the sight of something foreign in his domain. The muscles in his face tightened so much it might've given him a headache if he was human. He strode up the icy monstrosity and burned it until all that was left was a puddle. It was unnoticeable and melded with the blood lake.
There was also the fact she had the same markings as me during the exchange. I wonder, can she perhaps take my power?
His nails broke through the skin on his arms. Blood dripped fusing with the endless crimson pool drop by drop. He released himself from his vice grip and healed himself with a, "Tch."
Like I'd believe she actually could. Her power must be able to show characteristics of the person she fights.
Scratching his head, he strolled back to his original spot and laid across his throne as if it were a couch.
It's so boring here.
Jolting up from his spot he gave a long smile leaning his head into his hand.
She may have said I couldn't hurt humans but that doesn't mean I can't hurt her.
Satisfied with this thought he licked his lips and reminisced on how it felt to kill her.
***
"Kugisaki..." The curse mumbled out and woke startled at her surrounds. "Where?"
"You're awake?" Yuji asked, turning his head toward her.
"Wait, are you carrying me right now?" She deadpanned.
"You didn't wake up yet and I decided to look for Gojo or at least Jujutsu High." He turned his gaze in front of himself and kept steady. "He is ahead of us right now, he said he would take us to a friend of his."
Y/n took her attention away from Yuji to find Gojo whistling to himself with his hands in his pockets, ambling to their destination. "I'm not hurt or anything so you can put me down Itadori."
"Oh! Sorry about that." He gave an awkward smile and brushed his fingers through his hair.
"Don't worry about it. But do you happen to know who this person is?"
"He wanted me to train under someone. I don't think he told me his name."
It wasn't long before they reached the building. The sun was setting and the clouds were like cotton candy that wisped away along the violet-blue skies which simmered to a raging coral near the sun's center.
Gojo stopped his calm pace and veered in their direction with a swivel. "Y/n!" Grabbing her by the shoulder he dragged her further up front with him. "We have to stop meeting like this, it seems like every time something bad happens you end up waking up with something new to say."
"It was Nobara this time. Happy?" She waved her hands in front of her face, palm facing out in emphasis.
"I'm not trying to treat you like a kid, but there are things you know that don't add up." Gojo sighed out. "Your cursed side isn't helping. She keeps going out and doing whatever she pleases."
"I want to say I understand but this...this has been a fucking nightmare. All I've been doing is waking up and falling asleep with little know or why. Then memories come back." She puts her index finger and thumb on her brow to de-scrunch her muscles.
"Do you think I'll be able to talk to her again soon? I'm sure she knows something about what happened with Itadori earlier. After all, she took him there in the first place." Gojo had a sullen expression. "I can't let that happen again. I won't."
"I'm not sure. She did talk to me earlier saying she'll make me remember what I forgot but...I can tell she wishes that I didn't exist."
"Is she separate from you like Itadori is with Sukuna or—"
"No. We are the same person. She made that clear, believe me. It was to the point where she said I wouldn't want to go home." Shivering, she wrapped her arms around herself and pinched her lips.
"Are we going in soon?" Yuji asked when he interrupted their conversation.
"Itadori~ You can go ahead tell Nanami I sent you." Gojo had pink flowers around him and gestured for Itadori to go inside. "We're going to wrap things up here and meet you inside."
The door to the building had closed behind Yuji who turned a corner and was now out of sight.
"He's not going to see his friends for a while, is he?"
"Why do you ask that?" Gojo strolled alongside the building and found a wooden bench to sit on. He tapped the seat next to him and she followed.
Wind brushed her short white hair across her face in a cyclical motion, "Just a feeling."
"He died, it's only natural. It will give him some time to train to prepare for what comes ahead."
"That's what I'm worried about. He's a child and now he has the weight of the world on his shoulders."
"Are you worried about him?" Gojo sniffled.
"Worried as much as a stranger would about someone dying in front of them."
"He would be so hurt." Gojo mocks an arrow being shot through his heart. "If he knew you didn't see him as a friend."
She sighs heavily and lays her arms on the back of the bench while crossing her legs. "He won't know as long as I don't say anything." Her eyes smiled. "Besides she cares more about what's happening than I do. Her thoughts come along with the memories but I feel so separated from them."
Gojo stares into the navy sky, the moon was beginning to show in the horizon. His hair swished and the swaying of trees could be heard. "There's nothing that can be done about that. Focus on being in the moment instead."
She grimaced at his advice, "That was way too heartfelt for you. I prefer your usually cheery nonsense." She motioned her hand in a circle.
He laughed, "Do you forgive for the hand incident then?"
"Never. Mull that over for the rest of your life. Don't cut off people's hands for training." She pointed at him with her hand palm up and faked a smile.
"Your personality is a little different than usual what changed?"
"The words are coming out naturally. I assume this is my original personality kicking in."
"Can I ask her what she knows now?" Gojo faces her with a smile.
Y/n pushes her top lip over her bottom lip and blinks at him, "Fine, but whatever happens next is on you. Oh, I almost forgot, I did remember Sukuna wanted to make a deal with Itadori and I attempted to negotiate but I was killed."
"Good to know." And with that Gojo knocked her out and put his arm out to stop her from falling on the ground. Using the same arm, he nudged her back toward the bench where she looked like she was sitting and had fallen asleep.
"Big mistake."
"What are you talking—"
"Either you come with me right now or you stay here." She pointed to the building Itadori was in which had someone leaping out of a window.
"Is that Sukuna?" Gojo got to his feet.
"Here or with me. Answer." She scraped her nails across the bench and broke some of the panels holding it together.
"I'll go. I'll go."
The curse nodded and sprinted off into the forest, leaping to one spot after the next, gaining momentum.
"Where are we going?" Gojo said propelling himself to her side with each tree branch.
"To a house."
"What about Sukuna, won't he kill people?"
She snickered, "He can't."
"Did you..." Gojo's sentence trailed off as he made the connection.
"Make a contract with Sukuna? Yes."
"But then how is—" There were so many questions he could ask but he kept getting cut off.
"Don't ask too many questions. I don't need you losing your focus and getting left behind."
"I wouldn't get left behind." Gojo finished when he got a face full of leaves.
"Where aaaaaaaaaaaaare you?" Sukuna shouted and birds flocked to the skies avoiding the sudden discourse in their home.
“We need to go faster. Take my hand.” A hand extended out to him and he grabbed it with everything he had.
“What are you going to do?” Curiosity stretched across Gojo’s features.
A smile wide enough to show her fangs was in front of him. Ice appeared below her feet and Gojo stumbled and almost fell off the icy road. She swung Gojo in a half circle launching him across the ice as it formed. The curse created another path matching up with his to keep the pace. The ice swirled into a loop and ended with a ramp. They both landed in a residential district.
Houses lined the road and the street lamps shone fluorescent light blocking the view of the stars. The streets were empty except for a few trash cans and a bike.
“Why are we here?” Gojo tapped his foot getting some of the ice chips out from the ride.
“Wait here.” She threw a hand in the air with the stop signal. “If Sukuna gets any closer, I need you to distract him. Can you do that?” She narrowed her eyes at him and was already going to the house in question.
“Of course, I can.” Gojo said with a sparkly aura around him.
The curse vanished into the house and wind whistled in between whirling leaves that were in sight.
“Where is it? C’mon please.” Y/n sneaked around hoping that the wooden floor wouldn’t creak. “Here!”
“Who’s there?” A woman said.
“…” The curse held her breath and hid under the dining table. Power surged through her body but she suppressed it.
“I must be hearing things.” The woman shifted a strand of her short black hair behind her ear and went back to her bedroom.
Tears dripped from the curse’s eyes and she covered her mouth with her hand to stop a sob from coming out. Reluctantly she got out from under the table and exited the house.
“This time you’ll survive.” A soft smile ended the phrase with tears falling from her cheeks. She wiped her face with the back of her hand and pulled herself back together.
“You’re back. Will you answer my questions now?” Gojo took his eyes off the forest where the ice melted away and paused when he heard her. “Are you crying?”
“No. I’m not.” She looked to the right unable to say anything more about the topic. “Anyway, we have to get back to Nanami. He’s probably freaking out right now.”
“Did you find what you were looking for?”
“Here take it. And I sware to God if you feed it to Itadori I will never give you answers.” She strode over to Gojo, yanked his hand and placed Sukuna’s finger in it.
“Aww...How did you know it was here?” Gojo clasped his hand over the finger and put it in his pocket.
“The enemy put it here. They have more fingers than you know.” She flipped her hair and scratched the back of her neck.
“You can go back; Sukuna didn’t follow so go to Nanami.” She went to walk past Gojo but he pulled her shoulder. “What is it now?” She hissed.
“I know you’re going to fight him.”
“You don’t know the half of it. Not to mention the whole picture, so just go.”
“Why don’t you tell me then.”
“I can’t do that.”
“Then I’ll just ask your other half.”
“Heh…She’s not telling you everything. But nice try.” With a wave of her hand, she blocked Gojo’s path with a blizzard.
“We’ll talk later then.” He smiled and waved goodbye. He vanished from thin air.
“Finally, he’s gone.” She facepalmed and shook her head.
“Who’s gone?”
Stunned, she pivoted to where the voice came from.
“Oh…It’s just you Sukuna.” She waved her hand again and the blizzard of snow ended in a flash.
“Just me? Are you mocking me?” His eye twitched and he grinded his teeth.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to resort to violence. Wow, how original.” Her face was that of a person who was done with Sukuna’s bullshit.
“I—I wasn’t…”
“You totally were! I can see it on your face, do you think I’m an idiot?” She lifted her hand up in a claw with her long black nails. “Fucking asshole.” She muttered under her breath snapping her hand back down to her side.
“What was that last part? Say it louder since it’s just me.” Sukuna fumed.
“How about this, you want to see something fun?” She motioned him to follow her.
“I’m not following you. I came to interrogate you.” He didn’t move from where he was standing. “You didn’t think to protect yourself when you excluded humans from harm in the contract.” Smuggness dwelled upon his face.
“Or you can say you took advantage of my weakness. I like how that sounds better.” She said, raising her hands in front of herself and flicking them in his direction.
“When you say it like that it sounds boring.” Sukuna clicked his tongue in disagreement. “What were you going to show me anyway?”
“How I’m going to fuck up your plan even more than I already did.” She glanced at his face and began walking in the opposite direction. Sukuna looked like he was about to explode.
“Let’s see you try.” He speed walked up to her side waiting to see where she would take him.

Forgotten Curse Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 7:
Tumblr media
HHHHHHUUUUUUAAAGGGHHH!
Yuji jolted up from the cold metal table gasping for air. He whipped his head around the room and found Y/n laying on the table parallel to him. Sliding off the table he investigated his surroundings. When he was practically right over her, he called her name but she didn't respond.
The last thing I remember is dying but...I'm still here.
He lifts his hands palm up and peers down at the condition of his body.
There's still blood where he ripped my heart out. No wound though.
Yuji pressing his fingers against where his heart is feeling the warmth from his fingertips.
Still beating, still alive.
Sighing in relief he removes his hand from his chest and drops it to his side. Then a shiver shakes his whole body.
It would be great if Sukuna didn't rip my shirt apart.
He switches his focus to the curse in front of him.
Was her hair this long before? It's only a small difference, but...Is that blood on her hands?
I knew she came to stop Sukuna at the last moment but why isn't she waking up? Is she still alive?
In a panic he checks for a pulse but then stops.
Do curses even have a pulse?
He ponders and dismisses the thought.
How did we even get wherever here is? Did she bring me? But then...Where's Megumi? This is getting way too confusing.
Itadori tugs her arms and pulls her up from the table having her lean against him. He remembers her face full of such rage but now it was that of a doll. Motionless. Cold. Frozen in time. He turns around and pulls her onto his back.
He treks out of the room and sees the sign next to the door that says, 'Morgue'. Wandering, he comes across a few flights of stairs and continues his journey. He reaches the top he rounds the corner and places the curse on the floor back to the wall. He plops himself down next to her to regain his energy. He glances down at each end of the hallway, which seems endless, but he finally recognizes the lay of the land from a few windows nearby.
This is still Jujutsu High.
He rushes to pick her up again and this time he finds a door.
Finally.
He pushes the door open with his side making sure not to drop the curse. It takes him a while before he reaches the buildings he remembers.
"Itadori?" Gojo shocked pauses. "You have her with you." His voice darkens.
"Gojo-sensei? Haa...I finally found someone." Itadori sighs in relief.
"Where were you?"
"The morgue." Yuji stares at Gojo blankly.
"So that's where she took him." Gojo mutters under his breath. "It's surprising you're still alive, did you make a contract with Sukuna?"
"Not that I know of. But for some reason I feel like something isn't right." Itadori shifts in discomfort and readjusts his hold on the curse.
***
Chapter 125, I can only imagine what it feels like to see one of your closest friend's face blown off by your worst enemy.
Well, second worst enemy.
I'm starting to wonder if Mahito is neurotic. He probably is, that sick son of a bitch laughing at Itadori's misery. Making him act irrationally and fumble his next attack.
Nobara why did you have to go?
Itadori, you're huddled on the floor crying out at your own helplessness.
I'm helpless too. I know your fate yet I can't do anything to help. Just who am I?
I could re-read this series a thousand times and nothing would change. So many deaths, so much pain.
What does that leave?
Is gaining that power worth the cost of almost everyone you know dying in the process?
Todo you fought valiantly alongside Yuji but at the cost of your own cursed technique. Everyone is doing their best yet...I have to stand here watching it all happen.
If only...If...if...if...That is the one word that comes to mind.
Chapter 133, you took him. Unforgivable. Unforgivable. Unforgivable.
I think I might crush my phone at this rate.
I want to scream.
Getou I'll ruin every plan, plot, and misdeed you'll think of. Just know if I ever come to your world, and I have power you'll be the first on the chopping block.
Don't worry I'll find a fate worse than death especially for you.
Oh, as for what you did to Gojo...I'll pay you back a hundred, no a hundred-thousand times over.
I'll come up with such a maddening solution, not even you will be able to stop my plans. Not even myself.
They all need a taste of reality. The world will not revolve around them. I refuse.
Sukuna don't think for a moment that I forgot about you.
But when I look at Getou...You don't seem that troublesome anymore. I mean it's all just about killing humans, right?
That's dull.

"Kugisaki, there's something you need to know." Megumi shuffles to the doorway of Nobara's room out of breath.
"Fushiguro, pfft...Who the hell beat you up?" Nobara stifles a laugh but can't hold it in and she guffaws. Taking out her phone she makes the best of this scarce opportunity and uses the shutter feature on her phone for maximum blackmail.
"Kugisaki...Itadori is dead." Megumi rests his weight against the door and holds his side.
Nobara halts and does a double-take waiting for Megumi to say something else. Anything else.
"What do you mean? He was just..." She trails off unable to finish her thought. "There's no way."
"It was Sukuna." Megumi holds a hand against his face as if trying to cover his words.
"Is that why you're?" Nobara's brow furrows and she frowns.
"And that curse he saved...she took his body." Megumi's grip tightened on the door.
"She what?" Nobara was startled with the new development.
"She said she was going to take him where he needed to go."
"Where he needed to go? Maybe...I wouldn't worry about it, Gojo will probably figure it out." Nobara scratches her head and places her phone on her night table.
"That's what he said." Megumi rolled his eyes at her response.
"Let's go get some ramen." Nobara pumped a fist in the air with a new found determination.
"Why?"
"To remember the good times." She flashed a hearty smile at him and dragged him along with her.

"When do you think Mahito will be back?" Jogo voiced out not expecting an answer.
"Sooner than you think." Getou cracked a smile and sat down near the edge of the hot springs. Steam covered the area like a fog which contrasted with the clear starry night sky.
"Haaa...Haaa." Mahito slithered from his puddle form and shifted to his human appearance.
"How did it go? That was rhetorical. I assume it didn't want to join based on your appearance." Getou partook in some of the sake left around.
Mahito cannonballed into the hot tub making the scalding water splash everywhere. "It was an exhilarating fight. She knew about my attacks before I said what they were." He drew out his smile a little too wide.
"Though it didn't matter since I was still able to heal fast. The thing that was strange is that her appearance was similar to mine for a time..." Mahito stared off into the distance his thoughts wandering. "I don't know why but she had this intense hatred for me even though we just met!" Mahito opened his mouth wide in an 'ugh' expression.
"It looked like you?" Getou answered curious at the wildcard's cursed techniques.
In all my time of living I've never heard of a curse like that before. It has enough power to put up a fight against Mahito, I have to meet them.
"We're changing the plan." Getou stated.
Everyone's attention was drawn to Getou's words. Hanami's head raised away from the bountiful flower field nearby and he joined the rest of the group.
"We need a distraction for the wildcard so we can get closer to the target of the mission." Getou polished off the rest of the sake with a soft exhale.
"Aah? You didn't leave any for me." Jogo huffed out the volcano on his head puffing out some ash.
"We'll just get some on the way." Mahito commented sticking out his tongue.
Getou pushed himself up with his hands and strolled away from the rest of the group. As soon as he was far enough away, he smiled up at the sky.
I might just have to go and kill them, but not yet. I can't have any chance of Gojo seeing me.
Mahito comes up from behind and speaks, "I forgot to mention, she said 'Kenjaku I know what you were planning from the beginning.'" He put a finger to his cheek and tilted his head toward the sky alongside Getou.
"She said what?" Getou snapped his head towards Mahito who was more interested in observing the sparkling stars.
How? How could she know? She would've had to have been near me through all my different lives. It isn't possible. I would've recognized her. Just who is she?
Getou let out a long laugh and inhaled, "She needs to die."
***
Memories again...How many times will I go through this? I was in Sukuna's domain and trying to help Itadori but...Sukuna killed me again.
I knew what he was going to do but I failed.
"You didn't fail."
Who?
"You."
I don't understand. Are you perhaps the me with all of my memories?
"I'm the original. Don't get it wrong."
I won't argue but I...You are engulfed in hatred. I want to say I understand the depths of your hate but I know it isn't true.
"Heh...You never will, just play your role."
My role? I just want to go home.
"Don't lie, you would never want to go back if you knew what I know."
You may be right but that doesn't mean I won't try.
"I'll show you soon, what it was like at home. You'll never forget it even if you lose all your memories again. I'll make you remember."
***
"Fuck, I can't believe I let him take advantage of me like that." She slammed her fist against her icy throne.
"As soon as he questioned me, I gave in to his demands. What happened to being strong!" The ice cracked under her strength.
"Now I'm here of all places, fuck me for being too self-aware." She leaned her hand against her forehead and dug her nails further into the ice.
"At least I hope Getou is in a panic over what I mentioned to Mahito." She smirks thinking about Getou's annoyed face.
"Not to mention Sukuna must be so confused. Heh...Maybe he'll feel a sliver of the hate I have for him." She curls her hand watching her nails lengthen and turn black.
I need power. More, more, more. It's not enough.

Forgotten Curse: Sukuna x Curse! Reader: Chapter 6
Tumblr media
“Why should I tell you of all people?” Y/n slides back from the constant slash of claws against her cursed energy shield.
“Oh, you think you can go against me now that you have a little power? Just wait till’ I tear you to pieces.” Sukuna glares down at her and rushes the shield in pure rage.
Itadori stands off to the side in shock baffled at the fight happening in front of him. He practically shakes his whole body trying to regain any sense of himself but he can’t push himself to move. He watches in horror as his new friend is fighting Sukuna trying to help him.
Why did she stop me from fighting him? I can’t just stand here doing nothing. I have to do something, anything! Move, move!
He finally manages to move his steps sploshing behind him.
Y/n catches the movement out of the corner of her eye, her face becomes sullen and her fangs protrude when she yells, “STOP.”
Yuji makes eye contact with the curse and Sukuna freezes from his onslaught.
Lifting a hand to cover her mouth, confusion washes over her features. Her breath staggers and a whimper comes out as her legs give out on her. “I don’t…I can’t…” Tears well in her eyes and the shield weakens dissipating from the air.
A wide smile stretches across Sukuna’s face to the point where it’s disturbing. His short claws scratch against each other making a light clicking sound when they touch. “It will be me and you Itadori.”
“No!” Yuji yelps and trudges toward Y/n but he is too late.
Sukuna strides closer to her as she tilts her head upward revealing tears dripping down her cheeks. “I know I’m weak.” Defeat plagues her voice. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t try.” Her breathing shakes and she sniffles.
Silence engulfs Sukuna’s domain, and it’s like all of the air got sucked out of the room. Sukuna outstretches his arm and grips her bottom jaw. He wrenches his hand down tearing muscle from face. Quiet sobs leak through and the flesh falls with a plop.
Yuji shivers from the action and the scene of his dead friend blurs. Yuji stands mouth opening and closing stupefied at what to do next.
Sukuna dwells in his victory and kicks her body over so it drops to the crimson water like ground.
“So, about that contract, I haven’t finished explaining yet.” Sukuna lifts his blood-soaked hand and jerks the excess blood off with one motion.
Yuji clenches his jaw and his muscles tense all over his body.
Is this really happening right now? She was just alive. No. She can’t be dead. This is a domain so maybe…
“Itadori, are you listening?” Sukuna says deadpanning.
Yuji gulps not saying a word.
“I don’t like repeating myself but here’s the deal. I’ll bring you back to life on a few conditions.”
“No way, not after you just killed Y/n in front of me!” Yuji says grinding his teeth.
“She’s still alive so what does it matter?” Sukuna huffs in annoyance. “Do you intend on staying here forever because that won’t happen.” Sukuna points to Yuji’s body.
Curious Yuji looks at himself, “I’m turning translucent?!”
“What did you think was going to happen? Anyway, my first condition is that you let me take control of your body when you wake up. I will go back when I kill the person I’m looking for.”
A cursed aura roars behind Sukuna and Yuji peers past Sukuna to get a better look at what is going on. A clawed hand dredges in Sukuna’s shoulder hooking into the flesh dragging it to the floor. Sukuna evades the next swipe and blood showers his enemy.
“How are you still—” Sukuna bounced from to and fro’ in a zigzag pattern and got a substantial distance away to re-collect himself. Veins in his neck pulsed and both sets of his eye popped wide. His shoulder regenerated with ease and he said throatily, “I’m done.”
“How?” Yuji stutters out reaching to his jaw to see her’s regenerating.
A wave of ice stretches around her in a flurry freezing some of the blood-like water under her. She goes to speak and her tongue can be seen as muscle fixes itself to the correct positions, “I want a contract, Sukuna.”
Sukuna laughs psychotically, his arms curling around his chest, “A contract with me?” He wipes a tear away from his eye. With smirking eyes, he continues, “What could you possibly give me?”
Y/n sighs slow and deep, frost cracks around her lips, “Answers. And in return you will bring Itadori back.”
Sukuna purses his lips and furrows his brow, “How will I know if you're telling the truth?”
“It will be a three-question exchange, I’m sure you’re familiar?”
“Of course.” Sukuna smirks and puts his hand to his chin allowing one finger to point to the side.
“What’s a three-question exchange?” Itadori says innocently and is faced with two curses glaring at him.
“Are you seriously asking me that when your arm is almost gone?” Y/n searches Yuji for an answer and he shrills in terror.
Y/n twitches at the ear-splitting noise, “For the second clause, I don’t want Itadori to remember this.”
Sukuna chuckles, “Even when you wanted to stop me, you ask for the same thing.”
“Y/n, why?” Yuji demeanor reeks of someone backstabbed.
“There are things you should never know.” She averts his gaze and rubs her neck.
“This is entertainment in itself! Betrayed, how sad.” Sukuna mocks a frown and chortles at the turn of events.
“But I…” Yuji tries to give a reason but the words won’t come out.
“The longer you question this the closer you are to actually dying.” Y/n waves her hand nonchalantly, as if checking her claws are the most important thing in the world. “Sukuna don’t hold yourself back, I know you want to rip his face in two.”
“Don’t order me around. Although I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to.” Sukuna bends his knees slightly and slides his arm to optimal slicing position. In a flash he is in front of Yuji and all Yuji gets out is a cut off “Wha—” before his head is separated from his neck.
“Now then let’s begin the exchange.” Y/n planted her feet firmly on the ice and rose it up to make a frigid throne. “I hope you don’t mind me making a seat.” Her black claws wrapped around the front arms on either side.
Sukuna raises his arm tensing his fingers to raise his bone throne behind him. “As long as I have mine, I don’t care. You’ll know your place soon.”
Three small blue balls of fire whoosh alight which are outlined in a scattering black appear over the head of each curse. The blue light cascades on both of their faces giving light to the wine-colored domain. Sukuna picks up on the markings on her arms that go from shoulder to wrist and weave together like calligraphy. His gaze slowly wanders to her collar bone and dips a little lower.
“I hope you aren’t going to stare forever.” She crosses her legs and raises her left hand to hold her cheek. That’s not the only thing he finds different, her outfit is dark as night contrasting with the ivory ribcage fabric bodice. The top of the bodice connects off the shoulder making the fabric on her biceps fold over itself. The midnight dress drapes down to her ankles leaving mesh to reveal her calves with ivory lace ruffles at the end. The off the shoulder gown itself is a show of power.
He huffs out a, “Heh.” At the performance of his enemy.
“Speechless? I’ll ask the first question then.” She leans forward in her chair placing her hands in her lap keeping her posture straight.
"I wasn't--I was going to ask a question." Sukuna says sighing out of his nose. He turns his head to the side and glances over her form one more time.
“What do you plan to do with Yuji?” Her eyes narrow and her claws break some of the ice off the arm of the chair and it drops into the bloody lake dissolving on contact.
“I was planning on making a contract with him but you ruined that. But you already know that.” He turns his head facing her and tilts it and smiles in annoyance. He peeks at the blue balls of fire which still glow fiercely.
“It’s not enough, try again.” She beams showing off her fangs.
Sukuna clicks his tongue, “I was going to do something fun. Whatever the situation allowed me to do to bring Itadori despair.” At that the first ball of fire over Y/n’s head went out.
“My turn~. What is your purpose?” Sukuna leaned back relaxing himself on his throne made of bones.
“I—” Sweat dripping down her cheek and she inhaled. “To kill you.”
“Now why would you want to kill me? I’ve never seen you before but you wouldn’t even be able to.” He scoffs. The first blue flame disappears over Sukuna’s head.
“Is that your second question?” Her face lights up in delight at his mistake.
“Of course not, I’m just…Thinking.”
“If you say so. Then, what would you do if your power disappeared?” Her eyes turned a deep red and her markings spread to her face resembling his.
“Like that would ever happen.” Sukuna retorts.
“That’s not an answer.” She taps her foot against the ice and the blood washes over the ice like a seashore making it melt but it comes right back.
Sukuna rolls his eyes, “I would kill the person who took them no matter the cost. Nobody will take what belongs to me.”
“Interesting.” The second flame vanishes over her head.
“Your powers, what are they?” Sukuna spits out curiosity seething through his entire body.
She gives a small smile and after each word pauses, “I won’t answer this question.”
Sukuna’s second flame disappears and the two curses are left with one question left each. He remains silent waiting for her final question.
“Is killing your only reprieve from thinking about yourself?” She declared as if it was a sentence and not a question.
“I’m not answering this question.” Sukuna says firm and tightens his hand into a fist making a depression into the arm of his chair. He regains his composure slowly and musters the words to ask his final question.
“Do you know the future?” He stares at her directly in her eyes gauging her reaction.
Her body became rigid, and her breath came to a halt. She shut her eyes and grimaced, “Yes…”
“I couldn’t hear you. Can you repeat that?” Smuggness was drawn all over his face.
“I said yes you fucking bastard.” She bellowed.
All the blue flames had all but gone, the exchange had ended.
Sukuna pressed further even though the exchange ended, “What do you know about the future?”
“If…” She gulped hard and Sukuna picked up on her fear. “If I add a condition that lets you take control of Yuji’s body while I’m around, will you not ask about this for now?”
“You would let me out into the world that easily? I mean I could just torture you for answers.” He taps his fingers against his throne trying to understand her plea.
“Of course, there are restrictions, you won’t be allowed to kill any humans during that time.”
“So that’s what you were after all along…I’ll accept this but just know, I’ll find a way to get the information I want out of you.” He looks down on her and it appears like she balled up into herself, the panic finally setting in.
Her breathing becomes irregular and frantic. And she stares at her body.
The claws, the dress, the markings; all proof she has power.
I gave in too easily to him.
Why did I have to remember when I was human?
I’m not weak like I used to be. I almost ruined my plans because I feared what he would do to me.
I need to be stronger. So much stronger.
Remember your rage. Remember what he did to them.
You have no fear because you are no longer yourself.
She stops, forcing herself to take slow breaths but her head is fuzzy from panic.
“Then I’ll take my leave, I’m done speaking with you.” She rises from her icy throne and lets it melt from the constant rush of the blood waves.
Sukuna watches as she ambles away disappearing into the darkness of his domain.
