Can I also just add onto your post about the bad costumes. I also feel like people are forgetting that star wars has a weird futuristic 70's vibe to it and PEOPLE KEEP FORGETTING THE 70S PART! THATS WHY NOTHING LOOKS NORMAL ANYMORE. WHERES MY CAMP 70S OUTFITS

yeah… idk i appreciate the og designs and stuff but i’m not really complaining about how the new stuff doesn’t stylistically match the original. i think it’s fair that the styles would change—due to how style changes over the years in media and how vast the star wars universe is in general. if anything, it would be weird if everything matched the original. but the time and effort and care should match if not improve.

like i get where you’re coming from but if i wanted to see some camp 70s outfits i’d watch something camp from the 70s, yk? we can’t expect things to stay the same
