Jenna Coleman is Leaving ‘Doctor Who’

It’s official: Jenna Coleman, who plays Clara Oswald, will leave Doctor Who during the new season.

However, it has not been revealed exactly when Clara leaves, and the question many are already asking is: how will she part company with the Doctor?

Jenna Coleman made her Doctor Who debut on September 1, 2012 as Oswin Oswald in “Asylum of the Daleks.” She returned on Christmas Day of that year, playing Clara and remained with the Eleventh Doctor from the following episode, The Bells of Saint John, onwards. She stayed on-board the TARDIS for all of Peter Capaldi’s episodes to date and after filming for the last series finished, Peter commented, “Jenna has been absolutely brilliant. I think she’s wonderful in the show, and she’s my favourite companion.”

Series 9 sees the Impossible Girl’s departure, but the how, why, and when are all questions we’ll have to watch the new adventures to find out…

So, tune in to the Season 9 premiere Saturday at 9/8c and prepare to say goodbye to Clara and good luck to Jenna. We’ll miss them both.

О, земляк. Добрый день. Значит, можем поговорить без трудностей перевода. Я не хочу нарываться на грубость, просто давно хотела узнать, почему вас так волнуют рисованные персонажи? Просто никто не говорит о реальных подростках, занимающихся сексом в 13 лет? Или это нормально потому, что они одного возраста? И никто не говорит, что 17-летний парень, занимающийся сексом со своей 14-летней девушкой - плохо, ведь они же оба ещё несовершеннолетние. Предположим, что Хиро 15, а Кайлу 21. Во-первых, на артах возраст не указан. Во-вторых, насколько я знаю, с 16 лет при обоюдном согласии это уже не считается педофилией. Год больше, год меньше, большой разницы нет. Ну, подождут годик, не умрут. А в-третьих, еще через пару лет Хиро будет совершеннолетним, и всем резко станет наплевать на разницу в возрасте. К тому же, многие шипперы так и стали рисовать/прописывать в фанфиках. Что Хиро вырос, что ему 18. И зачем не-шипперы вообще лазят по тегам шипов? Просто не понимаю. ИМХО, лучше бы обращали внимание на проблемы реального мира. Во многих странах все еще отдают замуж за взрослых мужчин маленьких девочек. Почему с этим никто не пытается бороться? Да и никого в обществе не волнуют старики с молодыми детками, которые раза в 3-4 младше. Прошу прощения, если задела резким словом где-то, я действительно не нарываюсь на конфликт.
