Hi rudhira, I've always admired your content that you make. I've always wanted to make my own custom content, specifically age conversions. I'm a complete beginner, and I'd love to know how you learned to create content, and if you have any advice for a beginner.

Hi! Thank you! Iirc I started out with adding preg morphs to existing content, and then I went over to shoeswaps. That was a decent enough way to get more comfortable with meshing and Milkshape. My advice for a beginner would be to start small, and to not take shortcuts. Make sure you know what you're doing, and why, and take the time to do things properly.

Hi Rudhira, you seem to know a lot about defaulting, so I wondered if you maybe know what's causing my problem. I've been trying to default some seating objects like chairs, armchais and barstools. Sometimes it works just fine, but other times - while the default looks ok in the sense that the mesh and the textures were replaced - the chair/barstool etc is now floating in the air when you pull it out of the catalogue. I can lower them down to the ground with the shift everything mod and they will properly snap to tables/counters then, but when I tell a sim to sit on them, the seating animations are all wrong and sims won't sit on them at the correct height. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and why this happens sometimes, but other times it doesn't. Do you have any insights?

Hey rudhira! This isn't a request or anything and i know you're not the only one with access to the default database, but I saw you answer some asks about that sometimes so idk. Is there any other way to submit entries there? Cause i (and i guess everyone else) am still unable to because the captcha is missing on dreamwidth, but now i found a very old and cool mesh edit of the bg child pjs, and it's the sort of stuff that goes missing if few people know about it, espcially cause it's on tsr

Soooo I wasn't gonna do this but now I did! This is a separated version of my child conversion of @pforestsims' Retro Flounce Bikini because I wanted to be able to mix and match a little. Yes, the bottoms caused me grief since they're high waisted but I made sure that shit does. not. clip. (as long as you use @letomills' edited meshes).

The top is available in recolors 00-08, and the bottom in 00-09. Bottom 01 and 08 are categorized as underwear and swimwear, everything else is swimwear only. Not towniefied.

@pforestsims' Retro Flounce Bikini for CF! I've wanted to do this ever since it was first posted but I kept putting it off because it seemed like too much work... And it kind of was! Anyway!

These are for CF only, towniefied and set as swimwear. I decided to only use recolours 12-27, and you can get them as either standalone files or referenced to pforest's originals. Fat morph shown on Beatrice, and I'm using @letomills' edited morphs.

Update 2025/07/13: I edited the mesh a little because I made separates as well and I wanted them to be consistent. Everything works perfectly fine, but you may want to redownload if you're super particular about identical vertex placement.

Hi! Start with a hair that is only available for adults, and is also from an EP later than Seasons as there are no hidden clones linked to them.

Wasn't gonna post these because I intended for it to be part of a bigger project, but that'll never be done... So here are some edits and add-ons for tmbottomboardshorts!

I've paired them up with some FreeTime shoes instead of whatever garbage they had going on before, and converted them for children and adults (bundled with default replacement in ADDONS file). They're towniefied and set as everyday and athletic. Adults get a preg morph because I was feeling charitable.
