I have this head canon that Levi would absolutely melt (inwardly. He wouldn’t show it) if you told him that you’re proud of him. And it doesn’t even have to be about anything significant. Just proud of him.

despite his cold exterior, the captain of the special operations squad has a soft spot for you (:

Levi is quiet and doesn’t say much. However, when the sun rises and you’re putting your tent away, he greets you with a “good morning” in a softer tone compared to his squad.

While traversing through rough terrain, he stays closer to you, just to make sure you won’t slip and fall even though he knows you can handle it.

“Levi, I’m fine.” “No, you aren't.” “I haven’t fallen!” “Not yet.”

He's like a bodyguard, but instead of walking next to you, he keeps an eye on you from a distance.

During meals, Levi gives you his leftovers saying you need to eat to stay strong even though he knows you’re strong.

“You’re still hungry.” “No, I’m not, I ate a good amount.” “Then these are snacks.”

Levi has a secret voice kink. Whenever you talk or laugh, he tries his best to be as close as possible without arousing suspicion.

When you and your squad fight with Levi’s, he kills the larger Titans for you, pissing you off so much you told him to fuck off. And, unfortunately, that pissed him off enough to tell you to fuck off (calm and collected). Of course, that voice kink of his got him feeling things he hadn’t felt before.

There isn’t a honeymoon phase with Levi.

After the confessions, there’s a phase of getting him to open up, setting boundaries, a lot of communication about what a relationship would mean.

There’s never a spark that roars into a passionate blaze, but once you can get over that awkward phase, Levi is warm like a fireplace.

He wouldn’t be the one to initiate most physical contact, but he drapes an arm over you when you snuggle up as he reads.

Praises and pet names don’t spill from his lips, but the way he softly says your name still makes you feel warm and bubbly.

A relationship with Levi wouldn’t be a passionate blaze, it would be the soft light of a candle. A warm cup of tea in cold hands, a lit fireplace in the middle of winter that makes you feel safe.
