ASOIAF TAROT CARD, NUMBER XV: THE DEVIL (LITTLEFINGER)
instagram
The Devil is the fifteenth card within the Major Arcana group.
Originally three standing figures are represented. In the middle, on a pedestal, is the devil, flanked by two figures (often a man and a woman) represented naked and tied by a chain around the neck.
It is the card that represents lust, human weakness towards excesses, seduction, the wildest instincts but above all the unconscious link to instinctive and harmful feelings. Sometimes it can simply indicate a strong anger or in love consultations, a great erotic charge but in a negative sense, like a charge that only leads to the worst aspect of things.
When read in the correct sense, it indicates devastation, violence, vehemence, extraordinary effort, and fatality; it can also indicate what is predestined, but not always with a negative value. Reversed, it mainly indicates wickedness, the fatalities of life, but also weakness, pettiness, blindness.
________
Author's notes: We have finally reached the fifteenth card! I don't think there are more infamous characters than Lord Baelish, so I undoubtedly dedicate the Devil's Arcanum to him. I think it's also interesting to assimilate it to the previous card, that of Sansa (XIV: Temperance), almost as if the two were mirrors of each other: on the one hand, a great and possible spiritual elevation, a dose of healthy innocence, on the other hand all the worst that can be found in the human soul.

ASOIAF TAROT XIV: TEMPERANCE (Sansa Stark)
instagram
Temperance (XIV) is the fourteenth trump or Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks.
Temperance (Italian: La Temperanza) appears in the oldest Italian decks where it is numbered VI or VII. In the Tarot de Marseille and in most contemporary decks the card is numbered XIV.
Temperance is almost invariably depicted as a person pouring liquid from one receptacle into another. Historically, this was a standard symbol of the virtue temperance, one of the cardinal virtues, representing the dilution of wine with water.
When the Temperance card appears on the obverse, it is symbolically linked to good economy, but also to the capacity for moderation, management and accommodation.
If this card appears upside down to the applicant, it can indicate situations and things connected with churches and religions, but also with sects, the priesthood; sometimes even the priest who will celebrate the wedding.
It can also indicate disunity, unfortunate combinations, and conflicting interests.
__________
Author's notes: I drew this Sansa twice. I was very undecided about how to render it, but in the end I opted for a static pose, thus choosing to combine it with the other seated women (Daenerys, card number 2, and Cersei, card number 11). At the same time, I found amusing that I could place a goblet in her hand, linking it in some way to Tyrion's card (number 1, the Pagad) and basically also to the events of the Chronicles where both, precisely 'cause of a touched chalice, become prime suspects in a regicide charge.

ASOIAF TAROT XIII: DEATH (The Others)
instagram
Also known as the Arcanum without a name 'cause in the Marseillaise tarot it's the only card of the major arcana to be marked only by number. In the card game it is of value immediately higher than the Hanged Man and of value immediately lower than Temperance. In cartomancy it represents the transformation or the term.
one of the many superstitious attitudes connected to the number 13 is connected to the fear around this card. In some decks the caption of the card is there but it appears as THE THIRTEEN, always to get away from the taboo of death.
The original meaning of this card is a memento mori, an invitation to reflect on the fragility of life and to deal with spiritual things, the ephemeral dimension of matter against the invincible dimension of the spirit, which returns to life after every death. The thirteenth arcana is the symbol of transformation, rebirth, liberation and represents the end of a cycle. Everything changes and evolves.
Whether obverse or reverse, the card's effects are quickly revealed to the applicant.

ASOIAF TAROT NUMBER XII:
"THE HANGED MAN" (THEON GREYJOY/REEK)
instagram
It's the twelfth card of the major arcana or trumps of the tarot; in older decks, the same arcane is sometimes also referred to as The Traitor. It's used both in card games and for divination purposes.
the Hanged Man is a young man who appears upside down, hanging by an ankle from the branch of a tree or from the upper jamb of a frame. He has one leg bent behind the other and his wrists behind his back, presumably tied.
The graphic ambiguity of the card (which lends itself to being observed upside down) leads to many of the symbolic meanings associated with the Hanged Man in cartomancy, which associate it with acceptance, inner harmony or the ability to transcend conventions and observe the world from a more spiritual point of view.

ASOIAF TAROT XI: STRENGHT (Cersei Lannister)
Another name for this card is "fortitude"; The card depicts a woman, usually with a headdress in the shape of a horizontal eight, a symbol of infinity, who holds the mouth of a lion open or is flanked by it.
While the woman symbolizes qualities such as fortitude, discipline, inner strength, courage and security, the lion indicates untamed instincts, lust.
When the card is read right side up, it indicates qualities such as power, energy, will to action and courage, but also magnanimity; chances of success and honors.
On the reverse, however, this card reverses the reading in negative aspects such as despotism, abuse of power, weakness and discord. Sometimes, it can also indicate dishonor.

lisabetta da messina is like. what if a gothic novel was set in a beautiful mediterranean home by the bright blue seaside. what if the horrors were bathed in yellow sunlight that only served to further exasperate them. what if your love came to you in your dreams to beg you for vengeance and all you could do was grow new life from their corpse. what if she fucked that decapitated head

ASOIAF TAROTS: CARD NUMBER X
"WHEEL OF FORTUNE" (QUAITHE OF THE SHADOW)
Tumblr media
For to see front/back of this Tarot, check my IG: CLICK HERE
The character of Quaithe, in my opinion, was suitable to represent an elusive and ambivalent card: the Wheel can be positive or negative, but it has no outlined expression. Even Quaithe remains an elusive character in a Song of Ice and Fire. Her warnings to Daenerys never help determine whether she is a good or bad character for her.

Asoiaf Tarot 9: The Hermit (Three Eyed Raven)
Tumblr media
He suggests not to be demoralized and to resist, because the forces of the universe are on his side. Help and good advice are assured, and strong protection, and still assures that one is on the right path. It symbolizes an excellent connection with one's unconscious and the ability to interpret dreams.

LoreOlympus timelapse: fanart of HADES & PERSEPHONE 💜💙
little outburst from an artist: I'm a little frustrated today. I have so many ideas these days and above all so much time to devote myself to my illustrations. After months of blockade, you'll say, it's good. Indeed, it is. Absolutely yes. The paradox is that just now that I'm back active on social media, I've discovered I'm in the process of "shadowban" on IG. This is very frustrating for me, as it is as if I have remembered the flying technique again but someone has decided to put me in a cage. Now, I have always - always - reiterated that I am not interested in the quantity of those who follow me but in the quality. I continue to reiterate this concept, because I really believe in it, but at the same time I ask all of you (dear ones) who follow me here on Tumblr, to help me (if you like, of course) also by following me on Instagram, or continuing to share with affection and I support my work, at least until this shadowban phase ends. Any help from you will be immensely welcome, you don't even imagine how much! By the way, I would like to ask you (as I did with my community of followers on other social networks) if there was anything you would like to see more from me (fanart, original works etc. I'm open to hearing from you, so drop a few lines in the comments if you want!)... anyway, thank u as always ✨💜

ASOIAF TAROTS: CARD N°7, THE CHARIOT (JAIME LANNISTER)
Tumblr media
The figure usually represents a king or a warrior driving a chariot (or chariot) pulled by two horses, in some cases joined at the end of the body. The King (or the warrior) is the one who holds the reins of his own actions, victory and triumph in his hands; sometimes revenge. He's the one who is confronted with the awareness of being able to decide his own destiny.
The meaning of the Chariot changes according to the direction with which it appears to the consultant: if read straight, the card represents fidelity and glory. The Chariot is an arcane of victory and indicates a new condition, not only economic (which in any case looks promising), but psychological and of attitude; matured through trials and defeats, the consultant is now self-confident and has learned to defeat rivals and look at reality as a whole with a critical eye.
In love, the Chariot indicates a propitious beginning, or a new beginning (when starting from a relationship in crisis). If read upside down, the card indicates a difficult growth path, relationships with the partner made of jealousy and deep quarrels, and an overly pedantic attitude in the workplace.
__________
Author's notes: I found the description of the seventh card very fitting with Jaime's path to redemption, with his personal growth and at the same time with his ambiguity (he's a character who presents himself to the reader as a real villain: ✨he pushes a child off a tower✨), but slowly reveals other nuances of his character. In romantic relationships, we know that the relationship with Cersei does not always proceed in a linear way: there are ups and downs, abandonments and returns. And then there is the growth also given by the meeting with Brienne. In short, I immediately felt excellent vibes between the card of the Chariot and the character of Jaime!
