I usually draw less saturated stuff so wanted to try something brighter. Just cranked that saturation as far as I could. I also got carried away with just how bug like I could make Zim.

Also, the last image is the aftermath but uh.. I drew it like a month before the first page. So ignore the continuity error with the clothes. I'm too lazy to fix it but I didn't wanna just throw out the last drawing entirely.

Btw, the last image was a disguise idea for Zib which is why he looks so human.

Context: My friend and I are doing an rp where Dad-Nar and Professor Membrane are dating. We also came up with the idea that some aliens can pretty much smell whether you're a dom or a sub.

And that's the story of how this happened.

Thank you so much! Glad to be back, even if the fandom has changed quite a bit over the past 3(?) years. My life is quite a bit more busy though than it was back then so I apologize if I don't upload as often as I used to. Gonna try and get through more of this story than I did last time, after doing some quick recapping.

Unfortunately, I have had yet another hyperfixation change. I have very little control over them but I've been trying to catch when they're about to happen. Around the beginning of last year I really began to lose steam for Danganronpa content and it wasn't until the end of that same year that I ended up going back to Invader Zim. I had a feeling I was going to enter a different fandom soon but I had no idea I would be returning to an old one. I am sorry. Perhaps I'll make more DR content again soon but I can't force myself to stay in one fandom forever, as convenient as that would be. 😓

So! I returned to the Invader Zim fandom after like, 3 years, so idk how dead it is now but... I wanted to continue this little comic I started!

My art has changed a lot but making comics is still a bit new to me- hence why the style changed constantly. I'm probably going to be adopting the style in the third page with the thinner outlines and darker monotone shading. As well as a mix of all pages when it comes to the text boxes.

Now with the style stuff out of the way, here's the stuff you actually care about. If you havent read the old version, this won't matter too much as these are just all the changes I'll be making:

For starters, the most obvious change, Dib is now much older than he was in the first version, at 16 instead of 12. Simply because I have an easier time writing teens - adults.

This will be a little edgier, surprisingly, with Dib taking on a more angry, morally dubious teen rather than a scared little kid.

The way Zib fractures (versions Zim, Dib and Zib) is going to be a bit more refined imo.
