the brunette, wearing a nice blouse with short sleeves, cringed as she pulled yet another hair off of her shirt, this one way too close to being stuck in her armpit. "how do i even have hair left? i shed worse than a dog. i need one of those special de-shedding brushes or something, damn." she mumbled that last bit, starting to regret speaking any of it as soon as she had started, but it was too late to take it back now. "i mean... it's true." some thoughts are better left in her head... but she hadn't mastered that power yet.

sasha actually jumped a little at the sound of the other's voice near her. "oh my god," she blurts, and immediately attempts to recover herself after that outburst with a friendly smile and a tilt of her head. "yes, everything is just fine. sorry for... that."

she pointed to the pink princess philodendron location. "it's silly." she glanced at them and then back to the plants around her. "i just really wanted one of those. i've been trying to refrain for months, and today i was finally going to do it. i was going to take the jump and just get it. but they're gone." she laughed a little at herself, for being so dramatic about it. "it's not a big deal. just... a day. you know?"

❛ NO MORE PLANTS, FLORENCIA, ❜ was something she heard just about monthly from her brother, but that didn't stop them from frequenting both spring to life and all plant sections of any lumber and hardware store. they believed if they could keep it all confined to their section of the house, it wasn't a growing collection. plus, some of it went outside! and made the house look even more beautiful and lively! so, really, they felt as if they were SOLVING problems instead of creating them. besides, it's not like he was ever expected to care for them.

they're just perusing through the plants, when a clearly upset voice interrupts and slightly scares them. they can get lost in their own little world when plant shopping, so they hadn't noticed they were no longer the only person out here. she's not really the right person to witness in-public outbursts, because she's not ever sure how to react to them. how would she want people to react? well, for one, she'd never have a public outburst. although, the other probably assumed they were alone too. "uh... is everything alright?" they decide that's a safe question as they begin walking closer to reveal they're even THERE.

ophelia: oh my god i thought you were someone i knew! i was like why the hell doesn’t he know what the hell kimbap is i’ve fed him that a million times ophelia: they’re usually in a lot of korean markets if you ever want to try some. highly recommend. so good so easy to eat

okay, in all honesty, sasha didn't need another plant. not a cactus, not a fig, not a monstera plant, not even a small pot of your run of the mill flowers. but let's be real: one minor inconvenience means obviously she must have a new plant to make up for it. the minor inconvenience in question today was making the mistake of running through a mcdonald's drive thru for the world's best shitty, fast, and cheap coffee, and then promptly proceeding to drop it on her shoes in the parking lot at work. she really liked these shoes, too. then, because of course they would, her coworkers gave her shit all day for it. long story short: "treat yourself," she said aloud to herself, perusing through aisles of green. she wanted a pink princess philodendron in her collection desperately, and today just might be the day she finally... doesn't get one. "well, what the fuck?!" she stared down at the empty space where the plants would be, nothing but a lonely plastic price tag indicating where they once sat. she could cry. she won't. but she could.

if you’re hearing WHAT'S UP? by FOUR NON-BLONDES playing, you have to know SASHA BAILEY (she/her; cis woman) is nearby! the 27 year old TEACHER PROGRAMS CONSULTANT has been in denver for, like, TWO YEARS. they’re known to be quite STRAIGHTFORWARD, but being KINDHEARTED seems to balance that out. or maybe it’s the fact that they resemble JANEL PARRISH. personally, i’d love to know more about them seeing as how they’ve got those PUSHING YOUR GLASSES UP YOUR NOSE, COFFEE RUNNING THROUGH YOUR VEINS, AND DARK SULTRY COLORS vibes. and maybe i’ll get my chance if i hang out around the UNIVERISTY DISTRICT long enough!

Perhaps the most notable feature on Sasha is her smile or her hair. Her hair is always done, even if she's leaving the house in sweatpants. As for her smile, she loves to do it and it tends to be turned up to 10 most of the time.

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

When working, she's usually sporting a professional look that's on the darker side. Lots of dark purples, wine reds, emerald greens, etc. They're usually themed toward a darker side too, not necessarily gothic but definitely leaning. She loves to show her style where she can, and she's not going to let "professionalism" mean that she can't express herself. In her own free time, she loves to dress to the nines most of the time, wearing whatever she feels like suits her that day.

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Sasha is very straightforward, often saying exactly what's on her mind. It has gotten her into trouble before. However, she's so kindhearted, when something "mean" comes out of her mouth, she never intends for it to be that way. She hates that she does this and tries not to, but it's been a real struggle to control. Truthfully, she has undiagnosed neurodivergence that causes this word vomit. If she knew about it, she may not beat herself up over it so much. Because she's so caring, it really hurts her own feelings when she word vomits something that may upset someone.
