Did we miss the part where Biden's stance on Palestine is uniquely aggressive and oppressive even in the context/low bar of American politics. I feel like I'm losing my mind everytime someone brings up a hypothetical "well it could be worse" when the Gaza strip has dealt with the equivalent impact to a fucking nuclear assault.

⭐ tell the people what you did to mattrei,,,,,,,,,,
well do you remember when matt's leg got all torn up? yeah uh. it's gonna keep giving him problems. and eventually he's gonna lose it.
and i think a lot of people may not know this but rei was originally an oc i made for an original version of voltron i thought up like. 5 years ago. just for fun, with original alien races and characters instead of the characters from the show. it was never going to be anything more than just a fun little thing to think about, but there are some similarities between the fun little project and qs. and as a fun little fact, rei did pilot the red lion for a spell in that version of the story (although he wasn't the red paladin) and his sister mika, who is mentioned by name in chapter one of eclipse, was the green paladin in that other version!! kali (the other sister) was created solely for quintenary stars tho. when i was plotting out quintenary stars, i thought it might be fun to have a little "cameo" of an older oc, and i loved the hizu alien race too much to not include them in some capacity

Fanfic Writers: Director’s Cut
Reblog this if you want readers to come into your ask box and ask for the “director’s commentary” on a particular story, section of a story, or set of lines.
Or, send in a ⭐star⭐  to have the author select a section they’ve been dying to talk about!

normalize having more than one best friend. "best friend" shouldn't just be a title reserved for one person... best friend is a species...

It’s always insane to me when people DM me to yell at me about breaching their DNI because I reblogged a post from them
Like how chronically online are you that you’re checking the blogs of everyone who reblogs from you
And I genuinely mean that. Even if the post only has like 10 notes at best. How much free time do you have to check the blogs of all 10 of those notes, and then go OUT OF YOUR WAY to message anyone who doesn’t fit your strict guidelines for human interaction. And I know some of y’all don’t just check but you DIG, because some of the stuff I get DMed about is not advertised on my blog as soon as you look at it.
How do you all survive outside of the internet when every persons political opinions and stances on fictional content aren’t displayed to you right off the bat.
Like I’m not kidding. That’s not normal. You are not the normal one in this situation. Please put your phone down for at least a week and go outside.

"In a historic “first-of-its-kind” agreement the government of British Colombia has acknowledged the aboriginal ownership of 200 islands off the west coast of Canada.
The owners are the Haida nation, and rather than the Canadian government giving something to a First Nation, the agreement admits that the “Xhaaidlagha Gwaayaai” or the “islands at the end of world,” always belonged to them, a subtle yet powerful difference in the wording of First Nations negotiating.
BC Premier David Eby called the treaty “long overdue” and once signed, will clear the way for half a million hectares (1.3 million acres) of land to be managed by the Haida.
Postal service, shipping lanes, school and community services, private property rights, and local government jurisdiction, will all be unaffected by the agreement, which will essentially outline that the Haida decide what to do with the 200 or so islands and islets.
“We could be facing each other in a courtroom, we could have been fighting each other for years and years, but we chose a different path,” said Minister of Indigenous Relations of BC, Murray Rankin at the signing ceremony, who added that it took creativity and courage to “create a better world for our children.”
Indeed, making the agreement outside the courts of the formal treaty process reflects a vastly different way of negotiating than has been the norm for Canada.
“This agreement won’t only raise all boats here on Haida Gwaii – increase opportunity and prosperity for the Haida people and for the whole community and for the whole province – but it will also be an example and another way for nations – not just in British Columbia, but right across Canada – to have their title recognized,” said Eby.
In other words, by deciding this outside court, Eby and the province of BC hope to set a new standard for how such land title agreements are struck."
