yk, annabeth knew the prophecy before she fell in love with percy

she knew he might die when the prophecy was fulfilled

i imagine she felt a lot like calypso, trying not to fall in love with someone she knew she was doomed to lose

but only Silena knew his death was partly her fault, since she warned Luke about the mission

she was heartbroken AND guilt-ridden and she had to carry that alone

you're telling me Luke sided with the titans, (and for what) aided in causing the deaths of Lee Fletcher, Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf, Castor (dionysus's kid) etc, and they called him a hero when he died? no i get it, he killed himself and therefore kronos who was inhabiting his body. but like... he also was a 19 year old who led annabeth on and gave her special treatment. annabeth was 12. as luke died he asked her if she LOVED him. mmmm just doesn't sit right with me ok??

the complete ADORATION i have for Chiron is literally consuming me. this man has been alive since the dawn of time and he has seen so many of his beloved heroes die horrible deaths. maybe even more painful for him are the heroes who never come back home, who he never gets to say goodbye to. but he still gives his whole heart, every broken piece of it, to Percy. He watches out for him. he still has a kind twinkle in his eye. he still loves Annabeth like a daughter. he keeps loving, even though loving heroes means putting his already broken heart on the line, over and over again.
