Y’know if anything, Korra was more deserving of a live-action remake than ATLA. I love TLOK dearly but it has so many flaws, and was messed with in so many ways during production that it’s deserving of this second chance

Also, it would fit a darker live action tone. Tlok is darker, more serious, less goofy, less “cartoonish” in presentation. The transition in tone wouldn’t have felt massive.

Maybe in an era where execs are willing to put storytelling > spectacle, it could happen.

Another Cal and Trilla parallel is that they use opposite force powers. Cal uses force stasis (force slow/freeze) and Trilla uses force speed.

I think their powers are connected to their respective traumas, of Cal not being able to stop the clones from killing his master and Trilla not being able to run away from the empire after Cere gave up her location.
