i can't express how absolutely important it is that when you make an edgy, brooding, badass character who's tough as nails and good at fighting and whatever, you HAVE to give them at least one reason to become completely helpless and pathetic. you have a panic attack quota to fulfill.

Waking up from a dream and going "Who are you people?????!!!!!!" to the sudden FULL CAST OF CHARACTERS in my head but they have a story and backgrounds and I don't know who these people are but they're apparently not going to go away so now I'm making character references and writing down their notes and DX

Got character arcs summed up to V9 so far for the RWBY AU/rewrite Hunters and Remnants~! They're not fleshed out, but it's a start~! I am having way too much fun with this (RIP any original work, writing or art related, brain is consumed with this project).

i hate when ppl act like the only reason to not like a "sad" ending is because you can't take it or whatever. personally as a tragedy enjoyer, i hate a poorly written ending. i hate an ending that is just kind of a bummer. i hate an ending that feels mean-spirited to the audience. i hate an ending that's redundant. i love a sad ending that is thematically consistent, poignant, and bespoke to the rest of its narrative.
