P.S. is an american pop duo consisting of siblings ethan parker-stone and julia parker-stone. they gained public attention after posting “we made a song in a week” on the youtube channel P.S. in 2022. the debut single “WASTE” was written and produced by ethan while julia choreographed for the song. in 2023, they released their debut album “GET UP, GET OUT”. commercially successful, it reached the top 10 of record charts in numerous countries, including the US, UK, canada and australia.

ethan parker-stone (born july 27, 2000) is an american figure skater, singer, songwriter and actor. parker-stone was regarded as one of the greats in figure skating, earning himself the title of “mr.stability” and “the golden boy” for his skills. after winning countless competitions including becoming the 2018 olympic champion, he announced retirement from competition. he is the main producer and writer for the pop-duo P.S. as an actor, he’s best known for his role as jesse pinkman in the netflix series breaking bad (2020-2026) and jack twist in the neo-western drama brokeback mountain (2023).

julia parker-stone (born june 9, 2002) is an american singer, songwriter and actress. parker-stone is most well known from the pop-duo P.S. who she choreographs and writes for. she is also known for her role as sae-byeok in the netflix series squid game (2022). growing up, parker-stone took korean culture and language classes as she is ethnically black and korean. she also graduated at the top of her class at harvard westlake high school in the most selective ensemble of vocalists. she also ran her school’s “street dance club”.

Tips for people moving here from tiktok who haven’t been on tumblr before!!

-reblog stuff often! It’s how the ecosystem lives and thrives, everyone interacting and sharing each other’s posts

-sometimes someone will reblog a post that was originally created years ago, this is not weird or frowned upon, it’s a part of the reblogging culture and just helps bring back good/funny posts

-block people liberally, which is not a requirement, but a part of tumblr culture is that if you don’t like someone or what they post, just block them. It creates a better environment for everyone because you see only what you want to see, so just don’t take it personally if someone blocks you

-if you want to say something you think is important/useful/good when reblogging a post, you can just add it as text to the post

-if it’s something not very important but just commentary or a reaction, add it to the tags instead (I love seeing people’s reactions in the tags of a post and I think more people should participate in this)

-if you want to say something specifically to the poster and not to other people as much, say it in the replies

I just realized a lot of people from shiftok might transfer here because of the tiktok ban in the U.S.

btw I don't have anything against people joining shiftblr, it's just that I'm afraid shiftblr might start to become like shiftok where everything is so "restricted?" Like you can't share anything anymore because people there seem to be so "limited?". People there are like oh why didn't you script this out, why did you script this in, why are you shifting for this person, why are you shifting to that dr. It seemed like you had to have a perfect dr, like shiftblr was like my safe space from the toxicity of shiftok, everybody is so open minded here on shiftblr. But I remember I can just block people, hopefully everybody can change their perspective and realize other people's desired realities aren't gonna hurt them.
