Carmilla kept up a board in a common room with Good/Nice Mechanism Of The Week and Bad/Naughty Mechanism Of The Week as something of a joke. The board remains up after her departure, but there is much dispute (particularly between Jonny, Ashes, and Brian) over who exactly has the authority to update it

Ashes set up Oedipus and his wife/mom after he solved the Sphinx disease thing. They knew who Oedipus was and who his mom was, they thought it was hilarious

The toy soldier's death is after ashes chronologically, it spent billions of years on a dead and probably airless aurora, watching stars vanish, and the odd ship, a giant warship once blazed past on its way to hit a space station, a smaller ship bound crossed its former body's path on the way into a black hole, an escape pod nearly crashed into the ship with no signs of life aboard and life support set to keep the entire thing a vacuum, until one day amidst the dark it saw a small glow on a nearby rock, and then a larger blaze. Not long after that, it decided its friends probably weren't coming back and stopped pretending.

Brian is the cleanest of the Mechs and will sometimes deep clean the entire Aurora when he gets to be on her by himself. He has found many things that either a) they had convinced each other were lost/stolen/etc or b) he never wants to talk about ever again (the latter mostly being in Jonny’s room)

tim is aggressively gender-fluid, sometimes he/him, often she/her (because yes jonny girls can have beards too.) and if it isn’t outwardly obviously what gender is happening just use they/them, non-binary also applies if tim is unconscious.

sorry for liking all of your lyfrassir edda posts i’m losing my mind a little <3

anyway. what if when lyf fled yggdrasil, the bifrost came with them? what if by attempting to escape the destruction, they actually spread it further, because lyfrassir is the vessel that yog sothoth used to reach our world and they can’t run away? we’ve seen lots of eldritch lyf being affected by the bifrost… i want to take it even further. i want them to be the bifrost against their will.

(and maybe after this has gotten under control, maybe once the screaming squamous things are contained within lyf, maybe then they can fear becoming like odin, who was the vessel before them?)

- Or if Jonny is around. Because she likes to annoy him.

It’s hard to get Jonny to eat anything fruit or vegetable related, so the crew will sometimes “make themselves a meal” because they know the second they leave it alone Jonny will try to eat as much as he can before they can get back, to be a nuisance. He somehow still hasn’t caught on.

Ivy has aphantasia, meaning that she cannot picture things with her mind's eyes. This could be due to her mechanism, or maybe it has always been the case, even she doesn't know.

Her way of "picturing" things is an enumeration of characteristics, and she can perfectly recall sounds.

However, her dreams are extremely vivid, but like in canon she doesn't remember them at all.

Not sure if this would be more of jonny than ashes but. I feel like Ashes would keep a gun under their pillow or mattress to feel more safe ig?. If that makes sense like if someone tries to get onto the ship or something
