Right so. I've been MIA lately, and I figured I should let y'all know that's not gonna change anytime soon. I love Clint and I love Marvel, but I found a place where I'm happier and much more at peace. Maybe I'll be back, maybe not. I dunno yet. I just know that right now, this is the best thing for me and my writing.

Clint said it with a certain air of sarcasm but no particular malice. Even if he couldn't remember what their fight had been about, he remembered that it was something stupid. The problem was that being in close proximity, cooped up for weeks or months with no one to talk to but each other, could easily lead to another, even worse fight. 

"I'll keep that in mind." 

He picked up his bag and set it on a chair, only one step down from the table. He needed its contents to be within reach, and he took each item out one by one, sorting them and laying them out on the table. She hadn't said anything about weapons, after all. Knives, bows, a multitude of trick arrows, various equipment, and two boxes of protein bars--just in case.

He was fiddling with a boomerang arrow when he finally paid a second glance to the bedroom door, sighed, and stood up. The arrow was abandoned on the table and he went over to knock on the door, a parallel to the events in his apartment a few weeks earlier.

"Jess? C'mon Jess, open up. We're stuck here for a while, and we both gotta sleep in there anyway. Can we maybe not hate each other for a while?"

     Just because they were assigned to work together, didn’t mean Jessica had to like it. And she damn well wouldn’t. It wouldn’t surprise her if someone put the two of them together on purpose simply because of their fight. Fury had a funny way of doing things sometimes and this seemed like a Fury-thing. It only fueled her will to work in hopes that she could get out of this cabin and away from him as fast as possible. The longer they were in the same palce together, the more likely a fight was going to happen. Again.                               “In the kitchen. Get it yourself.”      Stepping forward, she grabbed his bag and dropped it onto the floor without a moment’s hesitation. Her face held her trademark ‘I’m seriously pissed at you’ look as she spoke,                                    ”No bags on the table.”      And with that she turned away and moved to the bedroom, slamming the door as hard as she could muster. (Okay, maybe not as hard as she could muster because it might come off it’s hinges. ) Taking a seat on the bed, Jess lowered her head into her hands. This op suddenly went from being an absolute breeze to being hell on Earth.
