i’ve been wondering about tropical leo placements being dramatic and creative and such, and wondering what cancer nakshatra is reflects the main one they are talking about.

like it could be pushya bc most pushya natives ive met are quite melodramatic. maybe early early stages of magha because the magha portion feels very regal to me. ashlesha is the only one i’m confused about because women like lana del ray does not seem like your typical tropical leo moon or jennifer lawrence being a tropical leo sun. ashlesha are also closed off as they are the coiled serpent so maybe they are the ones who are more likely to be performative ??

National Flag of Future Spouse

analysis only aplicable if cross cultural marriage potential is present in the chart

For the past few weeks I've been in contact with my biggest Guru who has been showing me knew perspectives and yesterday he showed me something which I never heard of. I had to ask for his approval to share this technique here because it is something which he discovered and applied for so long. Thankfully he wasn't against it because I really believe this is an amazing discovery. If you have the desire or an intuitive feeling that you might get married to someone of a different culture/someone from foreign lands especially if indicators in the birth chart are present but you are wondering where they will come from this is a very good technique which strongly relies on symbolic Astrology.

First look closely to your Venus (for a wife) or Jupiter (for a husband). Look in which Nakshatra your Venus/Jupiter is placed in and the ruling planet of that Nakshatra. The planet that is the ruler of your Venus or Jupiters Nakshatra will tell you about the prominent color of their national flag.

Sun Nakshatras indicate golden/yellow/very bright orange tones.

Moon Nakshatras indicate white (and blue).

Mercury Nakshatras indicates multi-colored theme I have seen this with flags which consist of more than 2~3 colors.

Venus Nakshatras indicates deeper and earthier orange tones like terracotta/copper/brown colors.

Mars Nakshatras indicates red/-ish colors (pink if there are any nations which have pink on their flag).

Jupiter Nakshatras indicates green colors.

Saturn Nakshatras indicates greys and black.

Rahu Nakshatras actually indicates blue because it represents the sky and it also can represent rare colors such as purples and pinks.

Ketu Nakshatras indicates black and dark browns.

Mind you these color indicators are speficically for the flags. This has nothing to do with skin/hair colors, that is a completely different topic and works different. This here is only applicable for flag analysis.

Next look also at the Nakshatra of your 7th lord and Darakaraka planet. Here again you need to look at the ruling planet of that Nakshatra, this will give you much further hints about any type of elements on their national flag, such as symbolizms/motives. For example if the 7th lord planet is placed in a Nakshatra which is ruled by the Sun for example like Uttara Ashadha, there could be a literal Sun symbol on the flag. For the Moon as the Nakshatra lord it would be a Moon symbol on the flag. For Venus as the Nakshatra lord it would be a star symbol on the flag. For Mercury as the Nakshatra lord it would be geometrical shapes, duality motives or even many little details/patterns. For Mars as the Nakshatra lord there could be swords or blades depicted on the flag. For Jupiter as the Nakshatra lord it would be any nature related symbols like trees/leaves/animals. For Saturn ruled Nakshatras it would be any traditional symbols/motifs/scriptures. For Rahu ruled Nakshatras it would be mystical/unconventional symbols or even mystical creatures. For Ketu ruled Nakshatras it would be any type of religious/holy symbols or scriptures. Here you need to be careful if there are any exact overpowering conjuctions of Rahu/Ketu with the 7th lord/Darakaraka planet, because these two can strongly influence the symbolisms/depictions on the flag and create an entire different twist to it. But only as long as it's an exact conjunction, means 0~1 degrees.

But like I already said, this is only for the case if a foreign spouse is indicated in the chart or if it is a usual thing in a persons family dynamic to marry outside the own culture. If not, this technique will not work, it won't give any useful results.

Purva Ashada, the power to invigorate

In the heart of the Sagittarius, Purva Ashada “the former invincible one” is the 20th nakshatra. ✶⋆.˚ Rohini, Mrigashira, Ashlesha, and Uttara Bhadrapada are very prominent in dancers. They tend to be flexible, fluidity, and hypnotizing type of dancers and I've also noticed that a lot of them can do flips and tricks. It all makes sense since they're all connected to snakes. 🐍

✶⋆.˚ I absolutely love and adore Bharani women so damn much, they're so motherly and protective! My mother is a Bharani Sun and she's highly respected by those close to her and people, even men tried to get with her including past partners. Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII a Bharani Sun, is a prime example of what I'm talking about. (She's my favorite character and to my mom too!)

The opposite sex tends be obsessed or lust over their looks, body, and appeal. ꨄ A brief guide and introduction ꨄ

I am so close to crashing out. Tell me why I was almost done writing this blog and then guess what. It got “saved as a draft”. Spoiler! It wasn’t in drafts and now I have to rewrite it… it’s alright, you can laugh ߹ ᯅ ߹

I’m going to say what I said initially here (before this app deleted my whole blog…). The reason why I got so intro astrocartography is because it worked for me personally. The country (and city) that I currently live in falls under my sun trine MC aspect line, which is amazing for my career and development. Mind you I never even knew about astrocartography until this year, but even before I moved here, when I was just visiting the country, I felt such a weird attraction to this place. It was insane. I am so glad that I did move here. The amount of opportunities, and leadership positions I was pushed into are crazy.

Also, since this post took so long to write, I just wanna apologise. I was on break and as soon as I finished, I had to go back to the grind. I didn’t get to post at all. I’m just waiting for the exam season to end and for this year to end so I can be more constant with my posts. The reason why this post took so long to write it’s also because I wrote so much and it took me a horrible amount of time to compile all the necessary info. But I hope you guys enjoy it. What is astrocartography?

So when your beautiful soul gets placed in a physical vessel, the planets and celestial bodies in the sky have certain positions. Those positions will reflect not only on your birth chart, but also on your astrocartography chart, which shows precisely the lines formed by those celestial bodies and planets.

When looking at your astrocartography chart it’s also important to keep your birth chart in mind because it can have an influence on how you experience certain lines alongside other factors that will be discussed later on in this blog.

An astrocartography chart has major lines and aspect lines. In this blog we will focus on the major lines and in the second part we will talk about the aspect lines (for some reason they r severely overlooked online, which is weird since I believe those are more accurate).

How do I access my astrocartography chart?

It’s easyyyy. There are multiple free calculators online that can calculate your chart. The one that I use is provided by “Astro.com”. You are more than welcome to use other sites tbh, but I like this one cause it has ur aspect lines, and it has them nicely sectioned as positive and negative aspects, which makes it easier to understand for people who aren’t as familiar with all the little details of astrology.

If you search “Astro.com astrocartography chart” it should pop up. After you fill in your details, you will automatically be presented with a map that has multiple colored lines. That is your chart. Zoom in and out as much as you want to be able to navigate the map.

For those who don’t always remember every symbol associated with each planet (just like me frl), here is a small image that can help you with that:

Every line is color coded with the symbol. I know the map is crowded, especially if you zoom out, but just you wait till we get to the aspect lines. It’s a soup of colours.

How do I read my chart?

Ok, so few things before we start. If you look closer you will see next to every planetary symbol, a few letters, AC/DC/IC/MC.

Bear in mind, every planet or comical body has a certain influence on an area of your life. And the positions next to it represent how that will mostly manifest.

AC: it’s all about YOU. Your inner development, your inner self, your IDENTITY. You will embody the energy of the planet physically or behaviourally.

DC: this is all about your relationships, whether platonic, professional or romantic. You are going to attract the planet’s energy through other people/connection you make.

IC: this is your roots, your home, your traditions even and your emotions. You will feel this planets influence in your home environment and this position is deeply transformative.

MC: here comes the moneyyyy. Ok so this position is about your public recognition, your career and it’s such a good boost. You’ll feel it through how the world sees you. Great planet for massive recognition in your field.

It’s also really important to check your personal birth chart alongside your astrocartography chart to be able to get the most accurate interpretation.

Please mind that there isn’t inherently a good line or a bad line. Each line is supposed to teach you certain things. Every line will have its ups and downs and depending on what you are searching to achieve, the lines can help you achieve it faster. Mind you that at the end of the day, it is up to you to put in the effort to get what you want. Astrocartography shows you where the flow of energy is smoother, allowing for certain things to manifest easier.

Sun line:

AC: you just radiate love. This line will make you shine for who you are and it will bring you closer to your true self. Great line for self love and acceptance. Your presence alone is charming and it grabs attention wherever you go. If you feel like your life feels stagnant and you wanna rediscover yourself, travel hereeee.

In positive it will give u crazy confidence, it will make you more self fulfilled and self actualised. Good for taking up new projects such as business or any project that puts you in a leadership role since this line will make you feel more comfortable under this position.

In negative this line is quite draining making you feel like you have to be always ready for anything. A lot of pressure to always perform effortlessly and perfectly. Can lead to burnout. So please manage your boundaries and expectations well.

Overall if you want to start a personal brand or a business. Going for a solo trip or a rediscovery trip is going to work well for you. You will find yourself more aligned with yourself and your purpose.

DC: this is your time to shine in terms of relationships. Like the way you’ll attract people by the way you walk, talk and just breathe is insane. Moon line:

AC: so having the moon line which is all about your inner world and your emotions being in the AC position can make you very emotionally expressive on this line. AC: omg so this line so amazing if you want to be noticed for your looks. You will physically look better. I swear. I personally lived on this line for such a long time and didn’t even know. Every time I came back on this line, I kept telling my friends that I feel like I am so much prettier here. GUESS WHAT I realised later I was on my Venus AC line. Not only you’ll look better, you’ll feel better and that is such an amazing feeling. The fact that I was constantly approached here and people are staring at me so much here. I even got random gifts from people just because they liked me. All I’m saying is that you will feel it here. If you wanna have a glow up, go there. Overall, if you wanna get married/ engaged or even meet new people, here is the place for youuuu.

IC: “just a chill guy”. Home life will feel so nice and comfortable. You might even be more inclined to to heal some lineage scars from your mom side. Home here is top notch. If you are in a relationship and are coming on this line, all I’m gonna say is that this line will test the integrity of your relationship. I’ve heard one too many couples moving to this line and ending up breaking up a few months later after being years together. Relationships here are just difficult, even friendships or partnerships. A lot of tension, and not a good one. This place screams dealing with a lot of lineage karma. You will do some heavy shadow work in that area. Honestly, it’s a hard line as well, but that’s all Pluto lines. This place is really great for understanding issues from the route and solving them. You might even heal some generational trauma here or at least become more aware of what that generation of trauma is. Deal with all this karma and shadow work you will feel so much more powerful, you will tap into your true purpose. This line also builds insane inner strength and desire for justice. Pluto lines are hard, but they are necessary.

In positive, deep rooted emotional and healing. This is a re-occurring thing with a lot of the lines here.

MC: weirdly enough, the Pluto MC line is less hard to navigate here (not easy but not as annoying as the previous Pluto lines). It’s still very harsh, but emotionally it’s a bit easier. This line will make you more assertive in achieving power (power is subjective, so that can be money or authority or anything really). AC: yeah, remember when I said that the Pluto lines are hard? This line is even harder, but it doesn’t feel suffocating, it feels deep, like the type of pain that you can’t fully shake off. Hear you will undergo deep healing of yourself. All your wounds regarding your identity will come to light, and other people will see it too. If you have been insecure about your physical appearance, then you will show it and you will feel it more intensely. If you have been insecure about your intelligence, you will feel more strongly here as well. This line pushes you to heal through embracing yourself. Accepting who you are and learning to deal with yourself at your own pace. You might be perceived as more melancholic and sad. People will be more inclined to want to help you. Your  own identity will be shaky, but that’s only because this line pushes you to heal.

You really need to tackle what makes you insecure and your friendships or relationships in order to have good connections here. This line gives me, you attract what you are! Do not expect good connections if you are not healed. The bright side is that relationships will feel healing as well. You might be able to heal your wounds through your relationships. There is gonna be a sense of deep intimacy between you and your person. Also might attract people with similar insecurities as you.

In positive, you will experience karmic healing in relationship. You will be learning a lot of self-worth as well.

In negative, all your triggers that you have in relationships have a high chance of manifesting here.

Overall, good for clearing karmic baggage and growing through connections.

In my research, I have stumbled upon Venusians either being drawn into cults or being cult leaders. It did not surprise me particularly. All Venusian nakshatras (Bharani, Purvaphalguni, Purvashada) are ugra nakshatras known for being "violent". Venus is in itself, a harsh planet. In fact, all the benefic planets (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury & Moon- in that order) are harsh and for good reason; its natives have to be "purified" by the working of those planetary energies to earn its blessings. Venus values exclusivity and separatism. There is a reason why Venus attracts Venus. It is a kind of elitism. We talk about how rare beauty and glamour is these days and we fawn over the nonchalance and effortless cool of low key & mysterious celebrities. If someone or something is plastered everywhere, it loses its "special" feeling, Venus does not mingle with the masses, Venus sets the standard, its THE blue print but it does not involve itself with anything directly, they like to sit back and watch others ape them.

I wanted to ask for recommendations on resources (books, blogs, or anything else you’d suggest) for learning about the mythology, stories, and tropes associated with the various nakshatras. I’m deeply intrigued and want to dive deeper into this subject.

I recall someone mentioning that the trope associated with a particular nakshatra might manifest in the life of the native. How can one analyze these tropes and use them for predictions, particularly in relation to houses and planets?

Hi again! Thank you for such an interesting question. It’s always so exciting to me to hear from someone diving deep into Vedic astrology and such a fascinating (and extensive) world of nakshatras. Let me help with some recommendations and insights. My answer will be long but that's the subject of nakshatras!

As for the resources, if you'd like to learn right about the mythology and more profound meaning of nakshatras, I would recommend the following materials:

"The nakshatras: the stars beyond the zodiac" by Komilla Sutton (Komilla has a way of explaining things beautifully, combining traditional wisdom with modern language. I also recommend her book “Lunar Nodes – Crisis and Redemption” for a deeper dive into karmic astrology, if you are interested);

"The book of nakshatras: a comprehensive treatise on the 27 constellations" by Prash Trivedi, a well-known and trusted book.

"The nakshatras: the lunar mansions of Vedic astrology" by Dr. Dennis M. Harness, with lots of very practical info.

If you'd like to check some classic Jyotish texts:

Certainly, my number one - Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS) - a fundamental source of information about Vedic astrology including a detailed description of nakshatras;

Jataka Bharanam by Varahamihira - it goes into details on how nakshatras impact our personality; it also covers predictive astrology and suggests certain nakshatras to forecast favourable time periods.

Online you can find numerous open resources but I strongly recommend start learning from trusted, well-known materials, preferably books and classic texts. Today astrology as a discipline and a knowledge system becomes very subjective. More and more people, who study and practise it, tend to write and say their subjective opinions, which in turn are based on their personal experiences rather than traditional astrology principles. But hey, do not get me wrong: I do not say it is bad or wrong, but if you want to study the real knowledge - go to the classic texts.

Even though, I admit that for modern readers, ancient texts might be a little bit outdated (for example, ancient texts mention elephants or horses as a mode of transportation, whereas we perfectly understand that today everyone uses vehicles; and so on. But the thing I want to say - their core principles remain timeless and provide a structured understanding of astrology.

Regarding the tropes...Hmm, a good question, really. I believe that they mostly manifest in our lives on a psychological and karmic levels. I would say it also depends on what you mean by a term "nakshatra's trope" - is it a nakshatra's symbolic image, nature, its ruling planet, pada (1,2,3 or 4) or their combination? Vedic astrology is very multilayered but it has a very good logical structure, just like stringing pearls into a necklace. Pada is also very important element of the nakshatra system which I haven't discussed in details here yet. In a nutshell, Pada is a subdivision of each nakshatra, which further narrows its symbolism and meaning. All nakshatras have their own padas which can manifest very differently (I won't go deep into details now).

For example, let's take someone with Moon in Aries in Ashwini nakshatra, which, as we know, has a symbol of a horse head, meaning speed, vitality, impulse and new beginnings. Ashwini has a divine nature. Its ruling planet is Ketu, the south lunar node, covering such themes as past life karma, spiritual insights, unexpectedness, detachment, impulsiveness, and unconventional solutions. Ruling Deity of Ashwini is called Kumaras, the celestial twin healers, associated with quick remedies, healing processes, and rejuvenation. Also, the trope of celestial twins Kumaras may manifest as the natural duality of a person born with this placement; another trope might be manifested as having twin sibling(s), a strong bond with one of several family siblings and in general multiple births within a family. Note: this is not 100% common trope - of course, some Ashwini people do not have siblings at all.

Ketu directly connects this nakshatra to the accumulated soul wisdom and unresolved karma from the past lives, meaning that past life's actions (i.e. karma) will play a certain (or even significant) role in the current lifetime. How it will play - this is already another question subject to a deeper chart analysis.

To analyze how Ashwini nakshatra manifests in a person's life, I would suggest using the following algorithm:

Check Ashwini's ruling planet: in our example, Ashwini is ruled by Ketu, the South lunar node. Look at Ketu’s placement. Note the specific house Ketu occupies and whether it is in:

Dusthana (6, 8, 12): indicates challenges or karmic lessons.

Kendra (1, 4, 7, 10): positive and favorable results.

Upachaya (3, 6, 11): results improve with time and effort.

For Rahu and Ketu, evaluate rulers of the signs they occupy (depositors) and their placements, as these influence their effects.

2. Evaluate life areas, impacted by the planet, its nakshatra and nakshatra's ruling planet. In our example it is Moon, which governs our internal mental processes and emotional reactions on the surrounding world. For example, let's say Moon in Ashwini is in the 4th house - it is a good placement. The 4th house represents home, homeland, emotional foundations, mother, inner peace, and real estate.

Positive Ashwini manifestations here: fast emotional adaptability and the ability to recover and heal from setbacks, an adventurous and proactive mindset that always seeks to embrace new experiences; a native most likely will have car(s) - this is another trope manifesting in this life time; a person likes sport and driving (which is often speedy); relationships with mother and family women are prominent.

On the flip side: a tendency towards impulsive, not carefully thought, emotional responses, difficulty maintaining long-term focus; potential need to frequently change places (not necessarily far away from the native place), but also potential general restlessness at home.

Now let's take nakshatra's ruler. For example, Ashwini's ruler, Ketu is in Gemini in the 6th house - the house of routine, work, health, enemies and challenges. Thus, we now see that Ashwini's energy impacts the 4th house and the 6th house. Ketu in Gemini's manifestations here might include: unresolved emotions tied to family, homeland or maternal relationships, creating feelings of restlessness or dissatisfaction; overthinking and amplified mental restlessness, leading to difficulty focusing on specific tasks or emotional matters. Coupled with Moon in Aries (Ashwini) it only adds impulsiveness, potentially resulting in quick, emotionally charged decisions at home or work; a karmic inclination to serve and heal others, especially through communication or emotional support, while learning detachment from material and emotional desires and so on.

3. Check all the influences on the nakshatra's lord (positive and negative aspects from other planets and Rahu).

4. To predict various life events, use the daily transit (Panchanga) to identify the nakshatra in effect and align your activities with its nature for short-term planning.

Example with Ashwini: as we already know, this nakshatra is associated with fresh beginnings and everything new. Therefore, if you plan to start something, a business, healing or health-related activities (e.g., medical treatments or gym), traveling somewhere or you need to make some quick decisions - doing it during Moon in Ashwini transit is a very smart choice. However, if you'd like to finish a long-pending project you started some time ago, Ashwini is not really suitable for that. You might consider finalizing a project during Moon in Revati transit, perfect for closures (the last 27th nakshatra)

For long-term predictions, use Dasha periods, specifically your current Mahadasha (major period) and Antardasha (sub-period) as well as nakshatra’s ruling planet dashas to predict when its themes will manifest more prominently.

In our example, we might consider checking Moon Mahadasha, Ketu Mahadasha, as well as their sub-periods. For example, during Ketu Mahadasha, Ashwini nakshatra’s themes will take center stage, potentially emphasizing spiritual growth, detachment, or karmic healing. During Moon Antardasha, emotional healing, nurturing relationships, and finding peace at home may become priorities.

Panchanga allows to calculate the most favourable days subject to a type of your planned activity and the Moon nakshatra's transit.
