in longing, you feel frustration. you feel that you've almost reached your desire one too many times and you don't understand why you keep getting denied. you feel the universe is taunting you, playing just beyond your reach and leaving you on the brink of breaking every time it dances away. when you let yourself feel your yearning, you bury your face in your hands and turn to look at the sky, not expecting an answer, but pleading for relief. there's a burn in your heart that you just can't explain in words but it's deep, you can feel it in your throat and just under your chest. you take a deep breath and exhale heavily. it settles you enough to continue on as you were. you see others living your desire and you don't feel jealous per se, but the burn raises in intensity and you just wish… something. you want change from your current situation, at this point, you don't really care what it is, just… something. have courage my dear, you can brave the fires of this world if you so wish.

God the moment in TDW when Frigga asks Loki "Then am I not your mother?" is so fucking painful and sad.

Like Loki was hopeful that he still had Frigga as a mother, that he still had some family that actually loved him, that she was still the good person he always thought she was, but then she starts to manipulate him like Odin, defending Odin's actions, and basically saying "you can either have both of us or neither of us". And he decides that he's not taking it anymore, he already took enough from Odin, he's not taking it from her. So, he responds, realizing that he has no one left, "you're not".

And oh my god just seeing the realization on his face makes me cry

POSSIBLE GLITCH??

it looks like there's a site wide glitch going on where tumblr's making people randomly unfollow people for no apparent reason?? not only that but the MUTUAL CHECKER seems to be a little wonky as well. i'm hoping @changes will talk about it tomorrow in their post talking about any changes, fixes, upcoming, and news.

that being said, please make a post talking about tumblr glitching and that you're working on re-following your mutuals. i also recommend maybe reblogging this to give everyone a head's up about the situation because i've already seen a couple of people fall victim to this glitch tonight ( myself included! ) in the rpc.
