i know people throw around intersex in omegaverse in relation to just bigenital or altersex characters that Are Not Intersex and just a porn trope essentially. but i think the idea of intersex dynamics is so underutilized so here are some of my thoughts

considering the whole seperation of ones physical sex and then their sub-gender/dynamic or whatever you wanna call it, i was thinking either that you could be intersex and then interdynamic (either both, or just one or the other), orrrr i was thinking about the idea of male omegas and female alphas being seen as intersex because they're incredibly rare and weren't "supposed" to develop that way

if male omegas and female omegas were intersex, i imagine there would be some way to try and force a "correct presentation" or to try and "fix" them when they present. a form of hrt maybe? i also think this would make trans people in this universe more likely to also try and change their dynamic when they transition to pass better (i assume going to a beta would be the most common thing of this, since those are probably in general more common and also easier to achieve?)

for the interdynamic concept, i had a few ideas of different variations:

betas who has no other traits of being either an alpha or an omega, but gets psuedo ruts and/or heats. the ruts/heats are not functionally real, but they follow the same pattern and they get the same 'symptoms' (arousal, getting emotional and/or aggressive and territorial, nesting, etc) but no scents/pheremones or anything

people having a scent that's a mixture of the stereotypical omega and alpha scents, since those both have their own ways they Usually smell

same vein as before, omegas with the scent of an alpha or an alpha with the scent of an omega

alphas with behaviours more associated with heats during their ruts (nesting, submission, clinginess, wanting to be scented)

omegas with behaviours more associated with ruts during their heats (aggression, being territorial, domination, scenting other people)

alphas with wombs and omegas without them

(variations would also depend on how exactly the dynamics. work. because i know it varies wildly from writer to writer lol, but i'm just tossing out ideas rn. i've read a few fics that explore this and i really love them !!)
